The only thing I dislike are the prices. I return because my subs consistently taste good, and the place isn't dirty like Subway nor do I have to check my order for errors before I leave like I do at Quickchek. I frequent the Middletown NY location often enough that one or two employees might recognize me and are aware that I may ask a person to change gloves if I notice something I feel unhealthy. There is one girl who works on the meat slicer. I wish I would have walked out when I notice her because she is a sly one. She stood in front of me picking at the corner of the refrigerated meat counter then rubbed her pointer and thumb together before stepping forward to get bread to make my sandwich; never changing her gloves!!! SHE LOOKED ME DEAD IN THE EYES WHEN DOING THIS!!! My brain didn't compute it at that moment because it was blatantly done in my face and normally I'm watching for handling money and not changing gloves. My mind was somewhere else even though I was looking directly at her at the time. That was on Saturday, August 29, 2026. Today, August 30. 2026 Sunday, I am well rested and in hindsight it sickens me to know that a sly, slick and wicked person is working at Jersey Mikes in Middletown NY. It's unfortunate because the sandwiches are usually well made. Except when someone decides to SWEEP the floor during food preparation. I wish I was thinking in the moment because I certainly would have spoken OUT LOUD about seeing what she was doing. THE REASON I AM WRITING THIS REVIEW IS ME SCREAMING THAT. This was my first time at a Jersey Mike's Sub and I have to say, I really enjoyed the subs here. I ordered a very basic sandwich ham, cheese, and turkey on a plain sub with mayo and that was it. i am a frequent jersey mikes customer, i get the same exact thing every time (giant white bread turkey salami pepperoni provolone lettuce mayo) and when i feel extra i might get some bacon on my sandwich as well. the employees here are very kind and hardworking. except for the girl that wrapped up my sandwich at the end it's like she was choking it. i am absolutely not a fan of the changes in price at all. i used to pay 20-22 $ for a giant sandwich and now im paying close to 30 dollars. this is unacceptable for a food chain restaurant to have the mangers change pricing to their liking. every jersey mikes has its own rules and regulations and honestly it makes a loyal customer not want to continue returning. i came in last time i was charged 25.18$ i came in today got the SAME sandwich i paid 27.05 and i still tipped because the employees there were very understanding of the situation. the employees are the only thing keeping up this specific location. do better. read more

I tried jersey Mike's last week for the first time the service was pretty good the store was fairly clean except for the fact the girl making my sandwich used her hand on the cutting board to clean it off with no gloves as far as the sandwich goes I ordered a medium size I guess it's called a regular which seems smaller than most subs I've had at other places and as far as I'm concerned the other places tasted better too. I probably won't be going back as there are better places in town I will however say it's better then subway. Subway hasn't been good since the 70s. read more

This is my first time in Jersey Mike's and the service was horrible. I walked in and there was no one on line but I had to wait over five minutes to be asked for my order. Once the order was placed I waited another five minutes for my sandwich. The workers continued to make orders that was placed online instead of taking care of the customers in the store. I then had to repeat my order. Once my order was finished and paid for; I asked the young lady to take food off of the bag she place the sandwich in and she caught an attitude. She did not have a name tag on so I couldn't get her name. The ambiance of the store was alright. The first picture is of the sandwiches the two employees were working on instead of taking in store customers order. Even though, there were three employees working but not one of them was taking orders until they saw the line getting long. The next picture is of the sandwich I got for my fiancé, who rates the sandwich a 4.5. Overall, the employees need to do a lot better. I given a one star because of customer service. read more

I absolutely normally love Jersey Mike's, but this new location sucks. The way they put together the sandwiches is unlike any other of the franchise stores. They slop the meat and across the bun and throw the rest of the fixings on top, so that it's all hanging out of the sides of your sandwich...EVERY TIME! You constantly have to go home and put your sandwich back together because, when you open up the wrapper, a big mess awaits you inside! Every other place neatly stacks everything in between the two slices of bread. Is that too much to ask? The staff is poorly trained and the managers joke around instead of supervising. I've been to this place at least 10 times since it opened and it's always the same...just a mess. I hope it gets better. read more

Currently would not recommend going to this location until they figure out their processes. Traveling through and ordered on the app forty five minutes beforehand with a specified time. We still waited for 15 minutes for our sandwiches. Ordered double meat on one and was the same as the other that did not have double meat. The bread on one sandwich was hard as a rock while the others were ok. Also prices are way higher than other Jersey Mikes locations. If they do not figure this out quickly, they will be out of business very soon. read more

Giant subs have little meat to them. They are bulked up by the mound of lettuce. 2 "giant" subs + 2 chips = $42.00. Combine the meat from the two you'd have a regular sub from most places. So the Jersey Mike's in my town has been terrible and I had not had Jersey Mikes since January of 2023. I was craving a good sub and didn't know this location was here so decided to give it a shot. Well, can I just say that I have found my new location to go to as it was spot on! All of the servers were smiling and friendly and took my order promptly and correctly. All of the bread and condiments were fresh, clean and inviting. They prepped my subs as I had asked and then the server asked me if I was a rewards member which I told her I was and after I put in my rewards number she asked if I wanted to use my points of which I did. I then thanked her for asking as my previous location never asked me about the rewards program or using my points. Once we got the sandwhiches to the car and took a bite oh my gosh they were so fresh and full of meat - they were delicious! I had really missed my favorite subs and was so happy to have found a much better location than my previous one. Keep up the great work and can't wait to visit again soon! read more

This is a great NJ Traditional Sandwich shop in the order of the Original "Blimpies". The Sandwiches are more or less excellently made. My extremely poor rating is due to the fact that I found a 'fly' pressed into the bottom of my bread! After paying $40 for 2 sandwiches that is totally unacceptable! I was forced through out a $20 full size sub! My stomach turned as I could not eat bread that had soaked up fly juice! I was going to post a picture but that would be 'TMI'. Thinking about this just made me sick to my stomach! The attention to detail and quality is obviously not a part of Jersey Mike's training! I grew up in Point Pleasant Beach..the home of the original and first Jersey Mikes. Back then, the Cancro family (owners) would always ensure you received the best sandwich possible by using quality meats and generous portions. Their bread was always fresh and their employees were always polite. I moved to Middletown NY over 20 years ago and always wished we had a Jersey Mikes up here. So when I heard that they were opening a location I was ecstatic. I went opening day and was very happy. I did notice the prices were pretty high for a sub sandwich..but meh..it was worth it. I went back a few more times and always ordered the same sub..a giant turkey with cheese, salt, pepper, oregano and mayo. The price I was charged varied each time. Sometimes it was around $11 and others $16! Same sandwich!! I brought this up to the owner and he dismissed as me being wrong . I stopped going there based on this discrepancy for a few months. Tonight, my family decided to get subs from their and asked me if I wanted anything. I thought..why not..let's give them another shot. However, when they returned home I was gravely disappointed. I looked at my sub and saw that they made my sandwich correct, but had only put four slices of meat on a full sub! Now when I say four slices that means four pushes of the slicer. They cut the sandwiches in quarters so I go one thin slice of turkey on each quarter. I attached a pic of one of the quarters as evidence. I looked at the receipt and saw that they charged $15 for pretty much bread, mayo and salt and pepper...oh wait and oregano! Needless to say I will not be returning to this shit hole. When I say shit hole I do not mean the place is dirty. Actually the place is very clean and the employees are very nice. They just either are told to rip off their patrons by the owner of this franchise or are not trained on how much meat should be on a sandwich. I am not looking for a ton of meat either. But I would like to actually taste it and not just taste bread and seasoning. If you are in the area and want a good sandwich at a reasonable price..do not go to Jersey Mikes..continue down RT 211 to Quick Check.
