Been here a few times before, never had any problem with customer service. Went to lunch at 1:00 pm on Friday, today, Only two table of customers were dining. There were one guy and three girls behind the counter as we walked in, they were talking among themselves. No one greeted us. As we approached the counter, my wife ordered a Philly cheese stake #17 and I told them I haven't decided yet. One of the girls started to prepare the sandwich while all four of them continued on their conversation. I decided to get a meatball sandwich #15 within 20 seconds after my wife's order, I waited for one of them so I can order my sandwich. All four of them continued their conversation. I waited about 1.5 minutes, finally one of the girls said are you ready? I replied I had been ready, two of the girls looked at each other with an attitude look. I ordered my #15. Another girl and a supervisor appeared from the backroom, so they had six people working at that time. The guy asked again what sandwiches we ordered. By now, I was like didn't you people hear what we had ordered? #17 and #15. As we sat down half of the tables were dirty. My point was at 1:00 PM Friday, only three tables with diners, the tables were dirty and the workers were having conversation rather than paying attention to the customers, their orders and making the sandwiches, isn't that is what you guys were hired to do? Is that too much or too hard to ask????? So our order came out to $21.41 for two sandwiches and a drink. We both were still hungry after we ate and drank three cups of soda. When we got home we had to eat chips to feel adequate. Attention to the franchisee of this Jersey's Mike. For $21.00 I could eat four or five times and be full with McDonald's Dollar Menu. With what we paid and the service we received I will never come back to this specific location. Unless you retrain or hire new employees who put customers first, good luck to your business. read more

I had to leave my order at this location because one of the employees would not honor a coupon that was emailed to me. Before I had placed my order I had asked one of the employee if the coupon would be accepted at this location and he stated that he would accept it and even confirmed with a second coworker. Then a third coworker got involved and stated that no, they would not honor the coupon after the sandwiches had been made. I stated that I would not take the sandwiches if the coupon wouldn't be honored and the employee stated that that was fine. In other words, they would rather lose a sale. Jersey Mikes is one of my favorite places but this is BY FAR THE WORST LOCATION IVE EVER BEEN TO!!!!! It took me almost a half hour to get my wrap and to top it off it tasted so gross. It was our first time having Jersey Mike's and I kind of had higher expectations for this place. I thought it was going to be another Quiznos but it was just another Subway with lesser but healthier options. Even though this place is suppose to be healthier and the food is suppose to be fresher I feel they are way overpriced. We got 2 regulars (6in.) and it came out to a little over $18. And all they did was slice the meat and cheese, put a few vegetables and mayo. This is something I could make myself just buying the essentials for less the price. The customer service however was superb. Since it was our first time the gentleman took the time to explain everything to us. I give an extra star for that. read more

I just stopped by the Montebello Location and had the most terrible customer service experience ever with two young individuals behind the counter. I asked for names and was never given them so I wouldn't be able to tell you their names. We usually frequent the Downey location but have tried Montebello out a few times. Always ordering curbside or in store pickup. I placed my order quickly online from a previous order. I clicked no mayo on the app but the previous order was with light mayo for one of the items. Anyway I went inside checked out our order and it had mayo. No biggie I went back in to exchange it and was give the hardest time about exchanging the one sandwich. The two young boys that's gave me a hard time actually laughed at me in the most disrespectful way. One of the boys told me he can exchange it for me but I would have to pay for a new one. Now I work in retail management. From my understanding if someone is not happy with a item and they are exchanging it you exchange it. Not be extremely rude and disrespectful and make the client pay for a brand new item. How does that make sense? Anyway I was shocked and appalled at how disrespectful these two boys were. Shame on the this location because I'm sure it's a great location but the level of disrespect was shocking. The manager came out and gave me a $2 off coupon and had my original sandwich remade. I'm just shook and how terrible these young boys were behind the counter. I hope this doesn't land on deaf ears and my concerns are heard before this happens again to another unhappy client. read more

I visited this place and it is clean. However the employees lack self awareness in the workplace. Although they are all wearing masks and gloves the purpose of those personal protective equipment is diminished when employees continually touch their mask to adjust it with the gloves they have on that they are handling the customers food with. - As far as the food goes. Nothing was ready to go upon ordering. Veggies were not ready to go, machine wasnt wiped down before cutting the cheese. As far as my knowledge it is practice for all the jersey mike sub sandwich shops to clean the cutting machine of meat before preparing a veggie sandwich orntonhave the meat cut on a separate machine and all ready to go in a separate area. - Employees were continually whispering into each others ears and one of the guys had a dirty shirt that was soiled with black stuff near his belly area. - This was my first and will be the last time I ever visit this location again. Although this location is conveniently place in my direction of travel I would rather visit the other nearby location which is black and white comparison to this location. - I wish this location luck. As a jersey mikes regular I went to get a sub like i usually do( a number 13 mikes way and a bag of salsa verde SunChips)and this time i had the worst possible experience there. Everything was going good with a nice young guy and then it appeared to be some sort of manager not quite sure if she was Asian and she was very bad at customer service but also to her employees. Yelling like she's their parents. This was a very bad look on this jersey mikes and I highly recommend to go to literally any other jersey mikes like any other one. The downside of using a deli slicer is that they can inadvertently cheat you of the amount of meat and cheese that you're paying for. Today I was getting a giant sized Sub Club and the turkey was being cut so thin it was literally in powder form. I had to instruct the sandwich maker that he had the wrong setting on his machine. He took the thickness setting up one 'click' and even then it wasn't coming out in complete slices. The sandwich was missing the correct amount of ham as well. When I got home, I had to add more olive oil and red wine vinegar, which sort of defeated the purpose of eating out. Where's the training? None of the Jersey Mike subs I get in downtown LA are this small. read more

EVERY FVCKING TIME there is a problem and a long wait even though they are not busy. Not to mention it's extremely overpriced for the lackluster quality. Trip #1- 2 cold subs took close to 20 min to make because they couldn't remember the 4 ingredients that go into the sub ( even with a cheat sheet in front of them). Then they couldn't figure out how to apply the coupon and ring us up properly. This trip took 30 min in and out ( we did not eat there) Sadly the sandwiches were dry and bland. HOW THE FVCK DO YOU DO THAT? I then had to drive back down to Mikes and wait in line to tell them, then got to wait around as they remade it. I figured they would have been sympathetic to the situation, but didn't seem to care. My co worker always comes in on Mondays raving about Jersey Mike's. As I was pulling up to Quiznos I tell my friend, "hey Jersey Mike's just opened have you ever been? , let's go! " BIG MISTAKE. The subs are not good. Bread feels old, people looked rushed and unenergetic (and they weren't that busy), veggie selection is non existent, and the vibe was eh. Go if you dare, but lower your expectations. Wait! I take it back, make your own sandwich at home. I have always enjoyed a good cheese steak. However since I've left the east coast they've been hard to find in the LA area, however Jersey Mike's does a great replica of they hoagies I'm use to at home. I love the smell of the fried onions when entering the establishment it's just like home. The people are fast, quick, and friendly. I really enjoy their selections. The bread is always fresh and the people are always courteous and helpful. This new location is no different and very true to the Jersey Mike's way. Will go back in the future. read more

This review is solely based on the customer service. It seems that if there is more than one employee on deck there is less done at this location. I have frequented this location a few times and always end up feeling duped. The employees there are continually more involved in their personal conversations than they are with actual customers. A customer shouldn't have to repeat their two sandwiches to you 5 times...especially when there is no line or other customer in the vicinity. Unfortunately I do not recommend this location; you are better off spending your money at a location that trains their employees on how to provide basic customer service. read more

I visited this Jersey Mike's Montebello location on Sunday January 24th at 8:33 p.m. (I'm there once a week) I asked for my regular #56 (Big Kahuna) but was told by an employee that hot subs we're no longer available because the stove/burner was already turned off for the night and the only cold subs would be available for consumption. I was extremely disappointed by this as there were no signs posted informing customers that the stove/burner was to be turned off roughly 30 minutes before closing time. If it's policy to turn off the burners 30 minutes before closing time, please post it as a common courtesy to all customers, if it's not policy well that is just bad customer service plain and simple. With only half the menu available, the store might as well close at 8:30pm instead of 9:00pm. For the prices Jersey Mike's charges for sandwiches, one would think customer service would be a very high priority, unfortunately this repeat customer was sadly mistaken. read more

I've only heard raving reviews for Jersey Mike's Subs from friends for quite some time, and I finally had a chance to stop in to the new, local location to try it out for myself. My feelings are a bit mixed in regards to my first visit. Allow me to elaborate. I ordered a #17 (Mike's Philly) and my wife had the #13 (Original Italian, Mike's Way). Her sandwich was ready almost immediately, which is totally understandable, since the subs are made to order and I ordered a hot sub which needed to cook. The #13 was absolutely delicious. The bread was great, the meats tender and the toppings just felt right. The #17 was a completely different story. First, a philly SHOULD have cheese on it. Now I'm not sure if it's SUPPOSED to have cheese on it, but mine didn't, and it was quite disheartening. Also, it felt that there were more veggies than meat on the sandwich, which totally felt off balance for me. The meat was ok, but I felt that it really lacked basic flavor (anyone ever heard of salt?). The service was nice and they even gave me a coupon to "apologize" for my dissatisfaction (and lack of cheese), which I later noticed was expired. So overall, I'll give them an "A" for effort, but a solid "C-" for execution and taste. Next time, I'll get a cold sub, since I feel that's where Jersey Mike's shines most. read more

Everything was great except that I added avocado to one of the sandwiches (paid an extra $1.95 for it) but the sandwich didn't have any avocado...not a big deal but it's the principle. A friend of mine brought me a sandwich from here and It was awesome! I went myself today and got a giant tuna sub (15"!!!) on wheat bread. The sandwich was great. I use to be happy with a simple subway sub but there's really no going back now these are just too good to pass up. It shows in the price however. But it's definitely worth it. For the 15" tuna alone it was a few cents over $12.00. Not complaining though! I feel it's priced right. As for the staff, very friendly and helpful. The restaurant itself is very clean with some nice big screen flat screen tvs inside. Nice comfy place to have lunch. I had mine to go but next time I'll sit in for the experience. read more
