Very delicious biscuit gravy I had in a very long time. The gravy with sausage was perfect taste and had the perfect amount of spices on the gravy. The biscuits are very fluffy and perfect. Our waitress Francis did an amazing good. There were a lot of people on the restaurant. Will I come back again yes but next time I will like to order a pie.

Been wanting this for a while. Without a doubt this is the Best Peach Pie in LA! Drove across to to enjoy this. It was worth it!

Nice server in a quiet weekday tuesday night. They have bingo on wednesday nights. Ordered the burger it was simple but was delicious and really enjoyed the hot crispy fries! I asked for a side of ranch and had a soda. Thanks Polly i'll be back to try your pies.

I walked in and the LA Police was pick up desserts Boxes of goodies. There a large room for meetings I waited a bit for my family to get here Francis was our server she was great and called me doll. She was on top of 8 tables And did a great job. We ordered the Turkey sliders And extra cranberry's sauce It came with drink and side I got coleslaw He got fries and & coke Sliders were good I could of had another Good size but I was hungry With 2hrs + drive [[HIGHLIGHT]]Clean & courteous was I'd say very kind was Francis and people at the counter[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Not going to lie, this is not a hip location. Its a great place for some comfort diner food and just good desserts. Some reviews said that its more of a senior restaurant, but the prices are decent. I had their half sandwich and soup and it was just right. And I had their hot coco. Service could have been a little faster when it comes to having the drinks refilled, but our server was nice. We came here on a Wednesday and participated in Bingo! I thought that was pretty fun and it was free. No buy-in was necessary as long as youre dining in. You could win, I know I did.

Wish we could give them more stars [[HIGHLIGHT]]Love the food there and the renovation is pretty nice too[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] But service seems lacking This is a busy location. Even without bingo nights. They need more staff and training. They keep forgetting to check in for refills and add ons like dessert They also have trouble with specials for lunch time and early bird combos too Wish it could be clearer on the menu or with ordering Pie selection is tough too Maybe they should make it clear that certain pies cannot be ordered by the slice up front

We love coming for bingo! It's such a fun family event to go to my favorite thing to get is their tuna sandwich. I like getting it toasted on sourdough bread. One of my favorite sides to get is the fruit. They use the fruit that they have for their fruit pies so it's usually super sweet and sliced when they serve it to you. We also tried their chicken fried steak. It was also pretty good size. We love your mashed potatoes and gravy. The meatloaf sandwich is also pretty tasty. It's moist and comes with grilled onions. Also, you can't go wrong with any of their ties. Our favorites are the coconut, chocolate, silk, and Banberry.

Late breakfast with a church sister in Christ. Her first time and she said the food was really good and satisfying. Only disappointment was no Bran muffins and very few pies today. Other than that service was great.

Everything i've had here is great. Sad to no longer see the quiche with arugula salad on the menu anymore but i still enjoy the other options. The shakes are delicious, the pies are delicious! 10/10 service and very good coffee

I was here on March 14 to celebrate pi day! They have a parking lot with plenty of spots. The servers were friendly. You have to take your check and pay at the register. The lemon meringue was ok. I think this pie is just not for me. I enjoyed the boysenberry pie though. If they had key lime, I would definitely get that next time!

1:45 min to pick up pies... I get it they are good but there has to be a better way to get these preorders out. Total mess

Megan do you have children's menu?

Hi Diana, yes we do! You can view our Polly's Jr. menu here: https://www.pollyspies.com/menu/montebello/pollys-jr-menu/

Are they doing outside dining? I know on Yelp it's crossed out with an X, but sometimes the information may not be up to date. Thanks!

We do have outdoor dining!

Private area for family reunion of about 50? No host

They have a back room that is fairly large. 50 might be a tight fit though.

Does Polly's pies make individual or mini pies?

Hi Meiske, at this time we don't have mini pies, but it's definitely on our radar! However, all of our pies are currently available by the slice. :)

What time does breakfast stop being served?

Hi Cecillia, we stop serving breakfast at 11:30 am, but we do have a limited all-day "breakfast for dinner" menu!

Does Polly Pies make Rhubarb Pies?

Hi Larry, we do make Rhubarb Pies! We will also have a special Strawberry Rhubarb Pie in January. Please call ahead or order online to guarantee we have your pie ready when you want to pick up :)

Found this place on Instagram, so we drove down from Pasadena...and it was well worth the drive…read more The store is super cute inside with a fun seating area. I wished we had arrived earlier to be able to enjoy more of the sold out offerings, but next time we'll arrive right when they open. We ordered a dozen crinkle cookies for a Mother's Day lunch - enjoying the sweet ube and the spiced thai tea versions. Both were great compliments to each other - more perfectly sweet and the other a bit more herbal. The chocolate chip cookie was perfect - nice crunchy edges and slightly gooey soft inside. The ube tres leches was a little disappointing as there wasn't any tres leches cake at the bottom, just crumbly graham crackers resting below exquisite ube mousse. It could have been mislabeled, but it was essentially just ube mousse with crumbly graham crackers for texture. The staff were friendly and the store is so fun!

Finally had a chance to try this place service was great…read moreand staff was very helpfully Place was kept clean they had a variety of different desserts and drinks I got the ube tres leche and ube blondie brownie They were both good but the ube brownie was my favorite! I'm Mexican so the l tres leches was a little dry to my liking and lacked the ube flavor in my opinion I will return to try the other treats they have So if you're in the montebello area and haven't been here definitely give them a try I got a latte as well and it was well made

This was my first time having a cannoli and it had a soft shell and was filled with plenty of thick a bit citrusy cream and crunchy chocolate chips. Eh. The cake slice was MASSIVE and had layers of fluffy, delicate, not dry white and chocolate cake, a thin layer of silky custard, plenty of not too sweet whipped creamy icing, fresh strawberries and bananas that added a nice fruity pop and was surrounded by some roasty toasty crunchy almonds. The snoopy sugary cookie was SUPER CUTE, had a yummy, fun, not too sweet, crunchy icing and buttery not dry cookie. Lowkey obviously my fave thing. Overall this place is pretty good. I placed an order for a cake last week for my father-in-law while he was visiting from out of town…read more This bakery has always been his favorite bakery, and he has enjoyed their cakes for many years while living in Montebello. When I called to place the order, I was directed to submit it online. I completed the online order and received a text confirmation stating that I would receive a response within two days. After two days passed with no response, I called to follow up and was told that someone would be contacting me regarding my order. Another two days passed without any communication, so I called again to check on the status. At that point, I was informed that my order had never actually been placed because a deposit was required. However, I was never informed of any deposit requirement during the ordering process or in any of the communications I received. I was then told that, unfortunately, the bakery would not be able to make the custom cake. I explained the entire situation and shared how much this cake meant to my father-in-law, as this bakery has been a special place for him over the years. Despite explaining the circumstances, no effort was made to find a solution. As a business owner myself, I understand that mistakes can happen. However, I also believe in doing everything possible to make things right for customers when issues arise. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. Due to the lack of communication, misinformation, and poor customer service, I will not be ordering from this bakery again and cannot recommend it to others.
