I can't believe how incredibly rude and obnoxious the employees are at this location. I have always loved JM's but I will not be coming back here until things change. I have already placed a complaint to corporate and my husband is meeting with law enforcement...YES LAW ENFORCEMENT because when he went in to try to talk to someone about an incorrect order he was met with a camera phone in his face from and employee who was threatening him and filming him without consent. Oh, and the "manager" did absolutely nothing other than make excuses about not being able to find better help. I'm sorry but this is inexcusable... The food is typically good from this franchise and it's a freaking shame because this location is doing the brand a major disservice. read more

I walked in to order at 7 pm and the employees were all ignoring me and talking about closing, at 7 on a Saturday night. I stood there for about 4 minutes with no one acknowledging me, but side eyeing me, being super awkward. So I went outside and called. I watched them decline the call and laugh. I called back and they answered, but again being very weird. Didn't really seem like there was a manager or supervisor on duty. Sat to wait fir my food and it was crazy dirty. I wanted to let everyone know to be careful of Jersey Mike's gift cards. I got a $25 one and we decided to use it last Saturday. We got our subs and when I gave the cashier the card he put it through. The first time he scanned it there was a message along the lines of it wasn't connected or couldn't process it. He did it again and said there was $3 and some change on it. There may have been an issue with the system. When we got home I checked the balance and it's $0. They do have good subs and I'll probably go back. This is just a warning about their gift cards. Ordered online. Showed up a couple minutes after my pickup time. Place was empty. No customers. I checked and my sub hadn't been made. Worker asked for my name. They had the order but just hadn't made it, despite the place being dead and the staff just sitting around. So then I had to stand and wait. read more

Ordered online and I was starving. Drove all the way there for the lady to go through the receipts to find my order which wasn't even started for her to tell me they had no wheat bread and then they were also out of tuna so I got a refund and left. Went and got food elsewhere. read more

If you have never been go! I was a little spectical on the quality and price but I walked in, got my order that I placed at 10:30am and paid within 5 minutes. I got the #17 mikes cheesesteak and a soda I believe it cost $12.75 and the taste was there the steak was totally there and the soda was amazing. My husband walked in to order subs for him and myself and asked the girl working if the bread had dairy/milk in it (allergy). She asked the man working and he said "how am I supposed to know?" This is downright dangerous to not have any sort of resource you can utilize in store to assist people in finding out about allergens. This location is New Hartford NY is the worse place i have ever been. My 1st time there, they were lost on what they were doing. Re asked me what i wanted on my sub several times even with a paper in front of them! Half of them acted higher than a kite! 2nd time i went they were awful! Sloppy and not sanitary. I gave it a second chance but will not be going a 3rd time! The wait was At least 25 min for them to make from start to finish! The food quality is inconsistent. Sometimes we loved it and other times it was dry, lacked dressing, and too much oregano. It's disappointing because we really liked it one time and then went back and each subsequent time things were not as good. I don't like to complain. But when I called to inform them so that their quality could improve, and I told them that the sub was dry and lacked dressing, the employee asked me "what do you want me to do about it?"he didn't seem very interested in my concerns. I have eaten at the original and go to the Richmond Avenue store when I visit the Jersey Shore. Jersey Mike's is my "go to" sub shop when travel for business. Mr. Cancro has done an outstanding job expanding a business model based on quality food and great customer service........except this franchise. The store is cluttered and dirty and the staff is rude. I understand that communicating through a face mask is difficult and I understand that preparing telephone orders while waiting on customers is taxing but watching the counter help snap at a customer asking when they're online order will be ready was surprising and disappointing. The store wasn't crowded (a mother with child was ahead of me and my wife, no one else counter ordered while we were there) but the woman preparing the sandwiches seemed overwhelmed and confused. We ordered a regular number 5 Mike's Way. A simple, straight forward order I have made scores of times. And then the wait began. A man had been in the store since we entered, he was patiently waiting for his online order and asked when it would be ready. The response was not pleasant, the woman behind the counter firmly and rudely told him he should have told her when he arrived that he ordered online when he entered the store. So much for online ordering. She then turned her attention to me. From six feet away and through a face mask I did not understand that she was asking if I wanted mayonnaise on my sub. Mayonnaise? I ordered my sub Mike's Way. If I wanted to ruin it with mayo I would have ordered it with mayo. I watched as a sub was made, wrapped and offered to me. I verified with the cashier that it was a Number 5 made Mike's Way and she answered "with mayonnaise". I asked the sub be made again and was met with the short, terse response "I asked if you wanted mayonnaise but you were talking to your wife". I was very careful to watch my order being made, paid and left the dirty, dingy store. I have ordered Jersey Mike's dozens and dozens of times. In airports, big cities and small towns always with the same constant high level of quality, cleanliness and polite, fast customer service. Having a Jersey Mike's close to home would have been nice but this franchise is a mess. I really hate to write this but take your business elsewhere. I've ordered their subs often, and they're very good. But sadly their customer service is horrible. The other night I placed an order via doordash, but they were out of bread and had no ability to cancel the order. Because of their inability to amend an order, I couldn't receive a refund through doordash for an order they never completed. Why are you using the doordash service if you have no ability to cancel an order? And why are you accepting orders from door dash when you are out of bread? You're a sub shop. Sadly will not be returning. They took my money and gave me nothing. read more

I don't like cold subs and I never have, but I go here for cold subs. They cut the meat thinner than most delis so the sub just melts in your mouth. In general just a solid simple sub. Place is clean and staff are friendly. I've been going here almost daily since I first tried it. Some may consider it pricey but you get what you pay for. read more
