Don't even bother coming here. The past FOUR times I've ordered from here, they've either been out of product or messed up the order. Two times I've received calls that they were...OUT OF BREAD. Every bread. No bread... LOL. The other two they made my sandwiches completely wrong and missing stuff I was charged extra for. Ordered 3 of the $5 Philly steak deal tonight. While I was waiting, another customer comes in and gets an order. As I get up to pay the employee said that they're going to ring her up first. This makes no sense. Isn't it first come first serve? And as I was paying I asked for their red pepper relish. And all I got was banana peppers. So embarrassing. This is the fourth time I've ordered for either pick up or delivery with this location and each time something has been wrong on the order. My husband & I eat here at least once a month! We are happy that we usually get a decent amount of freshly sliced meat (most other places skimp). What I was most impressed with today was the fact they had 4 employees working in a small sub shop. It was nice to see the owner there & stepping up to help keep the line moving. I came in on 4/30/17 and had a pleasant visit that day. 2 team members on shift around 7:41pm were hardworking, friendly, and prompt. The sandwich I ordered come with avocados in it, n they had ran out. One team member was very apologetic and gave me a free drink when he didn't have to. Just showed his customer service skills were genuine. While it was just 2 people working, they both took care of each customer with a smile. The cleanliness is horrible. There wasn't a clean table in the place. They were sticky, covered w straw wrappers and used napkins. The bread was sitting on the counter and the girl cutting the meat had no gloves on. Three sets of hands touched the sub before it was even paid for and wrapped (All without gloves on). Touching money and food is a huge problem. Needless to say I paid for the sub but did not eat it. Perhaps it was an off day or maybe I am over critical when it comes to my food and cleanliness. My wife and I have been coming to this location since it opened. The owner is very nice and appreciative of our patronage. However, we have noticed when the owner is not on the premises, the eating experience greatly suffers. We stopped by for lunch last Sunday. The owner was off and we noticed the employees not really paying attention to the few customers that were here. All the tables were dirty and the floors needed to be swept. The "Original" we had was made on a stale roll, and the lettuce seemed very un- fresh. My wife and I both decided that we "were over Jersey Mikes for a while". I think its very sad the owner can't take a day off, and while he's off, the staff ruins his business. I've been here several times since it opened. When the owner was in house the service was amazing. Ever since he stopped being a regular on Sundays it went to crap. They never have any of the bread for the mini subs. At least they're honest and tell me they just don't make it. All the employees are kids who are just goofing off. Last week a girl was standing behind the counter eating bacon with her hands, then put on gloves with our washing her hands and started making my sandwich while still chewing on the bacon. I'm pretty sure this is a health code issue. You would think it would be easy to make a sandwich. Sadly some of the employees are pretty brain dead. Love the subs until one day I came into restaurant and there was 3 flys flying around all the lettuce, pickles and onions area.
