Very disappointing customer service I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant today, 08/29/2026, around 1:31 PM. I went in to redeem a coupon for half off a ham sub. The employee who helped me had an unfriendly attitude from the beginning. When I got to the register, he took my coupon from me in a rude manner. I asked him to return it, but he refused. I then asked to speak with the manager, and he told me that he was the manager and that he could keep my coupon and would not give it back. When I asked for his name, he said, "Alan, the manager." Regardless of the coupon policy, there is no reason to treat a customer disrespectfully. Good customer service should always include respect and professionalism. Unfortunately, this experience was enough for me and my friends to decide that we will not be returning to this location. After years of seeing Jersey Mike's, I finally walked in. I never know what to expect at a chain that specializes in submarine sandwiches. I won't name names, but I've had some really bad experiences. Today was different. The staff was friendly and cheerful, which was great. I ordered the number six, roast beef and provolone. When the guy behind the counter asked if I wanted it "Mike's Way," I had to ask what that meant. Turns out it's their signature style with onions, lettuce, tomatoes, oil, vinegar, and seasonings. The sandwich was actually a nice size. I went with the regular, not the giant, and it still came loaded with roast beef cooked medium rare. It was tender and tasted great. The roll was super fresh also! I've always been a big fan of shredded lettuce, so that was a win for me. All the flavors blended great together with the oil and vinegar. Was waiting for my order but I didn't want to disturb the employees as they were helping other customers and I wanted to allow them to finish my mobile at their own pace, what I thought was being a respectful customer as someone who works in customer service too was apparently a bother to them. They asked if I was waiting on an order and I replied yes and with my name, they just said "well it's ready, all you have to do is ask" but with an attitude, I personally would not make it a point to belittle my customer for simply waiting in the lobby patiently and having a conversation while waiting. Sorry I didn't want to disrupt your employees but try working on approaching your customers better. Even on my bad days I pride myself on not making my customers feel less than, maybe this establishment should work on that like starbucks does ‍. Shout out to Brian at Jersey Mike's NoHo West! I come here frequently and each time I do, the customer service is always on point. I see Brian holding it down and I have not experienced any issues with my food or ordering as they are on it. So according to How Kev Eats , #9 with Jalapeño and Cherry Pepper Relish with side of Buffalo and Chipotle Mayo is a game changer. I had high expectations, but I thought the sandwich was just OK. I felt it was messy to eat and kept laughing that I had to pour both sauces for each bite. The cashier ringing me up laughed and asked if this was the newest trend since it's been the popular order as of late. She said the staff actually refer to this order as The Esther in this location. I've been coming to this location for a few years now I do Jersey Mike's at least twice a week and there's several locations in the valley area and I've been to all of them and I have to say hands down. This is the best in terms of quality and cleanliness. The staff is always professional, friendly and greets the customers every time I go in. I went in a few nights ago just before they closed, which is something I try to be mindful of and I did notice they were about to break down the stations, but they accommodated me made my sandwich with a smile, and it wasn't a big issue and I really appreciated the level of professionalism and customer service, I went in again days later and was greeted with a lot of enthusiasm which is really rare these days unfortunately in food service environments. The ingredients are always fresh. I've never seen wilted lettuce or old tomatoes or onions. Even the bacon is always fresh. That makes a huge difference for me and I don't mind coming in to that location even when they're busy and waiting because I know I'm gonna get quality service and a great sandwich . I want to give a special shout out to the young man that works in the front. I don't know his name, but I believe he wears a lot of jewelry and gold, super professional, fast, quick and always personable, I'd also like to thank the manager for how he runs this location. I've spoken with him about the professionalism and cleanliness just to encourage him to keep going because people always find something to complain about, but I know managing a restaurant in today's time can be really difficult and challenging because you can't please everybody and you roll at times make mistakes. Lots of parking, easy in and out. My kids love the turkey and provolone Mikes Way and I like the Philly Cheesesteak. Always delicious and fresh. The last two times we ordered it was not as it used to be. Quality was down, they used less meat and toppings. The sandwiches looked shrunk but the prices expanded. On Wednesday night December 18, my friend and I went to what used to be one of my favorite sandwich spots Jersey Mike's to purchase a turkey and cheese giant sub made the jersey Mike's way we ate the sub and shortly started to feel really ill about an hour later when we arrived home before we entered the house we began to regurgitate for over 10 minutes immediately we felt pain in our stomach could not do anything else, but rest, diarrhea we were bedridden for over a day I found some strength to go to the location Friday afternoon. It took me about an hour to drive to the store. As I entered the store, I seen the lady who made my sandwiches. I told her the situation she was very rude showed no sign of empathy or sympathy. I asked for a refund she declined. My refund told me she could not deal with me decided to walk away my friend began to vomit all over the store once again as he felt super sick once he smelled the food in Jersey Mike's. I found out that this lady supposedly is the general manager of this location. This is no way to treat a customer or someone who was a big fan of Jersey Mike's and used to eat Jersey Mike's all the time and has now become food poisoned along with his friend and asking for a refund. I am extremely offended, currently speaking to my attorneys as I was harassed and bullied by the entire staff at the store and no one proceeded to help me or give me a refund. I expect somebody to call me back at the earliest convenience in regards to this matter, send me a message on my yelp account because you haven't seen the end of me at this point, and I will never eat at Jersey Mike's again I highly suggest that nobody eats at this location. The people are rude. The food made me very ill. I'm a type one diabetic. This has really challenged my health. I am still fighting to feel better and I pray that these people learn what is good customer service and that this is a very serious issue and you should never treat people in this manner. I ask that they are reprimanded I think if this woman is the general manager she needs to be demoted I have a picture of her. Goodness three years in and I think I need to update my review. I am not sure why but the quality of sandwiches have been really inconsistent as of late and the prices are really high. I understand price creep with everything and inflation but the shrinkflation on the sandwiches was just like too much. We ordered one regular sized Philly cheesesteak and not only was it small but it was so loosely/lightly filled with filling (shaved steak/grilled peppers). I was shocked and my husband ended up sending in a complaint because our experience had been really different when we first started going to this location.
