If this is a hubby-wife small business, the wife deserves a lot of respect for running that grill! It takes a bit as food is made to order here. It's usually very busy with the high school kids coming over for lunch. I ordered the #6 combo: the avocado bacon cheeseburger, drink, and typically fries for the side but I upgraded to onion rings for this meal. I'm not sure what it is that is missing but I'm going to say it might be too light on the seasoning. There was very little flavor in the burger and onion rings. The rings were crispy, great crunch, put in a paper container and vent holes in the top. The bacon was crispy to perfection, avocado was nice too. Maybe, they're too conservative in the seasoning and leave it to the customer to add to it. As we were waiting for our order I heard jazzy music playing over the speakers, barely audible background music. They have signs posted that there is no public restrooms. It means they aren't allowing you into the back of house for insurance purposes. It's an old joint, been here a very long time. read more

OMG!!! The best french fries I had in years!!! Like I could die choking on one... and my last words would be " worth it". They were just magnificent and served hot. Is that what heaven feels like in your mouth? The joint itself reminds me of what I think an old americana burger joint looked like before the burger corporate take over. On a very busy Monday for myself, I found myself stopping in here for a bite to eat. I definitely had a craving for some chili cheese fries and it was just my luck I found this place! My main gripe with most places is that they pile on the chili and the fries get soggy pretty quickly. This place does it better and while the topping isn't drenched in sauce, it's well seasoned and a tasty snack. The burger was cooked well, and wasn't anything fancy but tasty and nicely wrapped. This is the perfect kind of place to grab a bite to eat for an otherwise hectic day. The owners of the place were extremely friendly and that alone is a solid reason for me to always sing the praises of a small business. Very quirky little burger and sandwich restaurant I stopped through on a whim before going to an afternoon film. Big Time is owned and run by an Asian couple, a curmudgeon and suspicious husband and a charming and hard-working wife, both well in on their years, as they've been at it for 45 years!!! He manages the register and she does the cooking. They both said they are retiring soon. Try as you might, and as I did, they avoid being photographed... The food here is basic but good; burgers, sandwiches, fries, a gyro or two. I got the bacon mushroom Swiss burger and left it at that. This came to our searches when we are looking for a burger place in the area. It is off 170 at Magnolia - on the right side at the corner of Colfax. It doesn't look like much when you pass it, but since my SO is starving we went in. We both ordered the Cheeseburger combo. And Wow.. I am impressed. The first bite was really delish and you can taste the charbroil. The steak fries are really good too. I will definitely comeback and try the other burger combos. We didn't wait long for our orders. WOW! I moved down the street and always saw this small burger joint, so I wanted to try it. I just went and grabbed a cheeseburger and chili cheese fries. It was one of the best cheeseburgers I've ever tasted. And the chili cheese fries were great too. I got to try the fry before it got soaked, and the fry was crispy and delicious... which means their french fries in general are great. It looks to be family owned by a nice Asian man and his wife. In my opinion, it's better than In 'N Out (unpopular opinion but I think In 'N Out is overrated). I love this place! It has always been my go to when I feel like cheating on my diet or I just want to get a delicious charbroiled cheeseburger and seasoned steak fries. It is an older building, but extremely well-kept up and amazingly clean; especially the kitchen area. Food is properly and professionally handled and you will always notice an "A" in the window as rated by the health department. Food is awesome. My favorite, is the cheeseburger combo and seasoned fries, but I've also tried other items such as a chili cheese fries, and chicken fingers. Never a disappointment, never any regrets. The staff is professional and friendly, especially the chef. She always has a smile on her face and greets me as I walk over to check out the grill. It's really nice to see that the small town "mom and pops" restaurant concept still exists. The food is very good , but the customer services is horrible . Very sad because the man taking orders is beyond rude for no reason at all and doesn't even let you speak . He even gets bother if you place more then 1 order says you should only place one other next time .
