I live right around the corner so I stop in here randomly. The guys that work there are always super friendly and are up beat which usually says something about the restaurant. There is nothing worse then walking into a restaurant and knowing they hate the fact that you just walked in. The deli meat is cut on the spot, the toppings are fresh. What more can you ask for? The restaurant is clean, the tv's usually have sports (which is great for lunch...a little time to kick back) and the sodas have free refills. Never write reviews and I have worked in the food industry for many years but needed to today. Walked in today and the employees working were yelling and complaining about having to make hot sandwiches that were ordered. Turned 2 customers away due to no bread. Very unprofessional. Jersey mikes! Everybody knows Jersey Mike's. If you don't you should get here. Newer location in a strip mall . Store is clean and well staffed for size of locAtion. Few booths and a few tables. Gets packed at lunch. Such a large variety of subs to order ,hot and cold. Three sizes. Mini,regular and giant. I had the roast beef And provolone. Split the giant size with a co worker. Delicious. Probably my fav sub shop so far. It would be five stars if they offered free wifi, last time I checked there isn't. The decor screams out Jersey shore. I'm surprised there aren't more of them around. Sandwiches are loaded with meat and aren't overpowered/drowning in sauce. (cough cough) Subway and Quiznos... For a sub shop franchise Jersey Mikes at the Parsippany location up the road from the Tara is phenomenal I had the veggie wrap on whole wheat. A ton of grilled veggies and provolone cheese and voila! Food at all Jersey Mike's is always great. The cleanliness at this location is not existent. Wanted to eat in. Not a problem as every table was empty. Every table was dirty and a bacterial breeding ground. When we asked to have the table we sat at wiped off the person who came to the table apologized and said that they were too busy to clean the tables. That's not a reason, that's an excused for poor management. They had six people working behind the counter. It took less than a minute to wipe off the tables. My bigger concern was whether they were too busy too also keep the food preparation areas clean. BTW there floor was also disgusting. Fantastic subs, great people. I've had Jersey Mikes subs and catering, so if you want 6 inches or 5 feet I can tell you what to expect! They use really fresh ingredients, taste tested, I dont know where they get their meats/cheeses/toppings from specifically! Whether ordering a single meal or a monster sandwich for a party, they know how to put together a stack of pure amazing. Recently they may have been skimping on the meat a little bit, but I would still suggest them as some of the best subs in NJ or beyond! read more

There was a baby crying/screaming in the back area, one employee was watching the baby I guess because the other was hustling up front. Kind of weird !! The ice tea machine was empty but the place was too busy for me to go back in line. Bunch of half made sandwiches just sitting there in the front too. This place is amazingggggggggg. I stayed in the hotel next to this location and was looking for lunch so we stopped here. My girlfriend and I both ordered Philly cheesesteaks( she added salami which was a nice touch). The food is made when you order, nothing is pre-done. The staff are nice and polite. Was driving Route 46 west today and running out of time to get to my customer, decision time. I saw the Jersey Mike's sign and made the left off 46. I had tried the one in Whippany several years back and the sandwich had about as much meat on it as Subway...was pleasantly surprised this location was much better than Whippany and very similar to those in Point Pleasant, Howell and others near the shore. A bit out of the way down Smith rd but is now a reliable stop for me off 287. read more

Big Kahuna cheesesteak is delicious! Meaty, cheesy, and spicy... what more could one ask for? Combined with the rosemary bread, it's one flavorful filling sub. I also really enjoy the Italian sub, Mike's Way. I'm giving it a 2 because I've had decent subs from this location in the past. Today I had a chicken caesar wrap, and I took one bite of the chicken and it was clearly under cooked. There was so much dressing that the wrap was a soggy mess. Disgusting. read more

Good subs but they overcharged me 3 different times. have had both the turkey and provolone and the philly cheesesteak and quality of their subs better than subway and blimpie. Bread is much better than the other guys. Their prices are higher though. Used to come pretty frequently. Went today to redeem a free sub after not going for about 6 months. Now I know why I stopped going. I ordered the chipotle chicken cheesesteak sans peppers and onions. The "chipotle" mayo was flavorless, I had to pick away chunks of bread (which was soggy) to even get to the meat. Overall very underwhelming, thank goodness it was free. I'll definitely be sticking with jimmy johns up the street for a better value and flavor for the money. read more

THE WORST. I've eaten here for about the 5th and last time. The grilled chicken is not real chicken. It was the hard/rubbery fake/over processed chicken that's going around recently. Had the same inedible chicken at a different chain type restaurant a few months ago. The chicken suppliers of these chains are getting cheaper and the chicken breasts are now often disgusting, over-processed chicken. I don't know if this is the type that comes from China or what, but it's not edible. Also, even if it was real chicken I still wouldn't go back. I'm done with this chain. For over $8 the portion was small. They chop up the breast into small cubes to make it seem like more, but it wasn't even a full size chix breast that you'd get in a real deli/pizza place/non-chain type sandwich shop. These chains are all about giving you as little and as cheap quality food they can for as much money as they think they can get away with charging. Jersey Mike's quality and portion sizes are now just barely better than Subway, but at least Subway sells cheap crap for cheap prices. read more

I asked for cucumbers on my sandwich, drove back to work and found no cucumbers. I called Mike's and said that I didn't get cucumbers on my sandwich and they said to bring it back so they would put the cucumbers on it. I drove back waited for 15 minutes in line, then the boy at the counter took my sandwich in the back and summoned his fellow co-workers as he did. A few moments later someone else came out with my sandwich and stated that they they weren't out of cucumbers because they don't serve them. I refused to eat the sandwich and they refused me a refund. I can only imagine what they did with that sandwich as 20+ people waited at an empty counter for their food... read more

Came here on a lunch break. there was a short wait, but the employees were very helpful. my turkey sub was very tasty. however a coworker of mine ordered a game a Swiss with lettuce oil and vinegar. He was on his phone and not paying 100% attention and the clerk put mayo on. I would suggest double checking your order before leaving and also not being on your cell phone. read more

Service is spectacular. Unfortunately their business is not. Two 10%+ price hikes across the entire menu in the last two years = 20% inflation. My raise is barely 2-3% a year. This location is new, and the staff and service EXCELLENT! Everyone who works here is very friendly and professional. We've tried a bunch of hot and cold subs on the menu, and they never disappoint. I'm a fan of the rosemary parmasean bread- try it, if you haven't already!! And definitely get your subs Mike's Way. We've also catered from them twice. The first time, our order was picked up by someone else (it was Superbowl Sunday), but the staff was super fast and diligent, and had a make-up order ready for us to take home, even though it was closing time (and they probably had to work well past then since there was a crowd of people waiting for orders!). I did write a letter of complaint to corporate and the manager, Lisa, called back and was very courteous and professional about the whole incident. It was not even their fault, but she offered to cater our next event for free. We just recently used them to cater another party, and we were very pleased. The sandwiches came individually wrapped, neatly presented in a box with the fillings visible so people could pick and choose what they wanted without touching every sandwich. I have eaten alot of subs in my day. The majority in New Jersey. My favorite all time place to grab a sub is Just Subs in Hillsborough, NJ. Usually nothing beats their subs. Nothing. Jersey Mikes is a close second. It is very impressive being a chain. The staff is so fast (unless you get a warm sub which takes a bit longer) and very friendly. The best thing you could do for yourself is call ahead and pick up. They even started a rewards program for those who come often. They have many locations popping up all over the place so the rewards system is a very useful tool. My favorite subs are the cheesesteaks, the tuna sub, and the club sub. I always get a regular and down the entire thing in 10 minutes. The price is very reasonable. Coming around lunch time can be hectic, especially in the Parsippany, NJ chain so if you plan on grabbing a seat and eating in, come a little before noon. Jersey Mikes knows good subs. read more

OK - I do like Jersey Mike's. This is actually my favorite location, as it is one of the newer locations and it is VERY clean. JM's is a pretty standard hoagie joint. I think they make a good turkey sub and a very good cheesesteak. I also think they have a great chip selection and that is crucial for a deli. I don't think this place is going to blow you away, but if you are looking for a good sandwich at a reasonable place, this place should deliver. read more

I am always shocked that Jersey Mike's is a chain. The bread is fresh, the cold cuts are out of this world and the service is fast. My only complaint is that the cheesesteak was very small. They put a very minimal amount of sliced steak on it. However the miniscule sandwich was really really good so I left hungry, but somewhat satisfied. read more
