You can tell they're incredibly passionate about their food, and it shows in the taste. I had a veggie burger (which was made in-house), and it was delicious. Everything tasted fresh. My partner had the perogies and a burger, and he loved them! We will definitely be returning for a quick dinner next time we're in the area.

We were on a road trip and in need of a place to stop for lunch. I pulled out my trusty Yelp app…read moreand came across Fina's Kitchen and its excellent reviews. The small restaurant was like a deli with several tables inside and a lovely outdoor patio that really elevated its overall atmosphere. We placed our order at the inside counter and grabbed a table outside. Throughout our visit, we experienced extremely pleasant and gracious service from Fina and a young man, both of whom were cooking and delivering the food. Though this caused things to move on the slower side, they really had their system down to a science, managing our meals and the several takeout orders that I saw being collected. The lunch menu had various salads, sandwiches, and burgers on offer. I selected the Chicken Gyro, which used a real grilled chicken breast that had been sliced, rather than those pre-cut strips that always seem to contain fillers. The chicken was a tad dry, but the homemade tzatziki sauce, which was heavily infused with dill, helped to add moisture to the sandwich. I had opted for a whole wheat wrap, rather than a pita, and I loved that they had lightly toasted the completed dish, even with its inclusion of romaine lettuce and diced tomatoes. That method gave the wrap an improved texture and a slight crunch. I sampled a few of my companion's fries, which were thin, crispy, and had a real rustic flavor that resembled potato skins. They were great! Fina's Kitchen was a real gem, hidden among an industrial area and catering to the local businesses. It was a great find!

This has become my preferred stop whenever I go to the Plainville AMC. With things getting so…read moreexpensive, it's very refreshing to see a place that can give a lot of value for a reasonable price. The restaurant is fairly small, but the portions are big! I got the disco fries as an appetizer and they were a delicious combo of gravy cheese and seasoning. You could also tell by the bite and the shape that they were made fresh which is also a big plus. I got the hungry bull burger and they were accommodating with substituting the horseradish crema for the house sauce. You would think double meat might be a bit much but it works well and the onion straws really make it shine. Finally I got the strawberry milkshake which was probably better than any shake shack milkshake I've had! The restaurant itself is also very eco-conscious by participating in newport biodiesel, so its great to know that not only are you getting a good meal but the restaurant you are supporting is also helping the people of the connecticut.

This place was well reviewed, so we decided to make this the spot this time around. Ordering was done up front, but there were tables to sit at. Missus ordered while I took photos, and the food came out relatively quickly. Took pics and dug in. Sweet potato fries were the highlight. Hand cut, fried and seasoned. With ranch, they were really good. The burger and hot god were good in terms of quality and quantity. The condiments were a little overpowering though, ended up taking over a lot of the dish and really muddled the meat. The meat itself was lightly seasoned, relying on the condiments to bring the flavor. Not bad, but all elements should bring their own identity and add to a meal. The burger felt absent, and although flavorful was lacking that extra bit of salt or fat to make it truly shine. It's not bad at all, just lacking. Everything else was good, the price easily reasonable for the quality. It was just missing those finishing touches to be truly great

We grabbed 1/2 dozen bagels, mixed, garlic and herb cream cheese, and a half pint of chicken salad. We had a couple not toasted and tore them to sip in the whipped cream cheese. We toasted a couple later in the day to make a few sandwiches out of! This place was packed, I recommend calling ahead, the customer area is tiny and does move somewhat quick depending on the orders, grilled items take a while as they have a small grill apparently (overheard to a guest waiting). Our stuff was cold so we got in/out quickly! Chicken salad was good, I added some hot sauce and gave it a kick on an onion bagel!!

We got a half dozen - 2 chocolate chip, 1 blueberry, 1 Asiago, and 2 plain. One CC bagel has only 2 chips, and the other 4 (see video and picture). I love blueberry bagels, and pretty much everywhere I go, you see blueberries throughout, and the color of the bagel itself is a lot darker than what we received. There were only tiny specks in these bagels. Disappointing. There was no chew, and they were kinda dense. If you want fantastic bagels, go to Chefs in Cheshire, or Olmo in New Haven.
