Big fan of this chain. I think it's one of the most consistently good sandwich shops and wanted to have my girlfriend try it for the first time. We were helped by Jacob, who was awesome and made sure it was a good first experience for her. My go to for cold sandwiches is the #13 Original Italian, Mike's Way with mayo. Light on lettuce. No you can't have your sandwich your way--Horrible experience!!! We held a training class,Ordered 17 meals spent over $200. It was painful to pay for such lousy service and disrespect. I received attitude from what appears to be the manager from the moment I walked in the door and said hello-I have a large order. It went from bad to worse. I had it all written down neatly on a list, including the details of each sandwich. She never looked at it! I was able to add the toppings to the cold sandwiches. I waited and bunch of hot sandwiches came over without any of the details. I don't know if it was made Mike's way or just her way?? I politely asked for the corrections and then I had to stay while they mumbling back-and-forth about me, rolling their eyes it felt like high school!! The only male working tossed them all into two bags to go and then pointed and said can you verify there 17 meals in there? I said no I cant because I was correcting the orders... Can you verify their 17 in there? He scoffed-He took them out and started one by one throwing them on the counter to count them! Then he scooped them all back up and rolled them into the bag like it doesn't matter if they get squished. It was awful and humiliating. I'm angry We won't use this location again. There's another close-by if we use Jersey mikes-at all. There's a lot of restaurants that appreciate us. We frequently hold large group training classes. Very clean and the lady employees were sweet. I saw this new flyer up inside and it was intriguing to try something that is different. So this bowl is Philly cheese steak with nacho cheese Doritos and lettuce with jalapenos on top. The other choice is chicken with Cool ranch Doritos with lettuce on the side and jalapenos on top. I'm not a big Cool ranch fan so I went with the Philly cheese steak and Nacho cheese Doritos. It was like a deconstructed nacho plate. I replaced the jalapenos with a side of pickles. I have to say it was quite delicious. It was nice to build each Dorito with exactly what I wanted on top. The best part was there were plenty of Doritos until the very end. read more

One thing I have been really into at Jersey Mike's is there sandwich in a bowl or salad. I had the Jersey Shore Mike's way from this new location for $7. I like the way they roll the cold cuts with Provolone cheese then slice them, and I love the way they put a very good amount into the bowl or salad. The lettuce, white onions, and tomatoes were fresh tasty. The dressing was a bit heavy handed but nothing I could not handle. This sandwich in a tub is a great way to go if you're watching your carbs. The staff at this new location were all very upbeat and friendly. Normally I haven't had an issue. Today I ordered DoorDash for pick up. I got the 7 with olive oil blend and vinegar. When I opened it up to eat it, it was drenched in olive oil and vinegar even the wrapping had it on. I had to use a napkin to try to get as much off of it as I could. I went here for lunch today while my bike was being serviced in the nearby shop, and it was my first time at Jersey Mike's. I used to eat at Subway a lot back in the day, but I haven't been to a sub sandwich place in about ten years, probably. Jersey Mike's was great! I ordered a roast beef & provolone and it tasted great! The guy who made my sandwich was named Chris (easy to remember for me since I have the same name). I overheard him talking sandwich prep with another customer, too. He really knows his stuff! I was also helped out at the register by an awesome gal who was super friendly. I didn't catch her name, but she's short and has bright red coloring in her hair. Anyway, she's a real people person and made me feel welcome! Great customer service! Ordered a Mini The Original Italian. I believe this place replaced 'Which Wich.' I was thrilled to know they have Rosemary bread! I have a total weakness for bread. Very friendly staff. Ordered my sandwich - with Mike's Way (sauce/spices) - and it was tasty. I do wish that we could toast the bread - would make it all the better! Service was fast. Basically ordered it, watched it be made, asked if I needed anything on it, and then wrapped up and handed to me after paying for it. My girlfriend and I sat in to catch up and finish our sandwiches. We both ordered cold sandwiches. Wouldn't mind going back if in the mood for the Original Italian again. That's my go-to for any deli joint. Lots of parking. Definitely different vibe from what I get from other Jersey Mike's Subs & previous place. read more

Love Jersey Mike's...but this location is mediocre at best. I've been in here a few times always thinking it's just an off day. Nope, it's consistently a mess. The work area where they are making the sandwiches was cluttered with food scraps and disorganized. The staff is exceptionally slow and couldn't remember basic instructions. They were low on several ingredients and were severely rationing them instead of restocking them. This place isn't cheap and I expect a fair amount of food for the price I pay! They forgot to heat up my meat and I had to ask if they did when they failed to do so. This is important for certain food restrictions I have right now. They dumped the lettuce and onions already on my sandwich back into the serving bins for others. Ummmmm, ewww? How many times have they just dumped mixed ingredients back into the pile?! They ran out of bacon and then forgot to put it on my husband's sandwich. Overall, super disorganized, slow, stingy service makes this my least favorite Jersey Mike's location ever. This place does not disappoint. Have gotten a sandwich there many times. Only problem is the price is getting a bit to much for a sandwich.

I love Jersey Mikes and get it often to share with my family. I have NEVER had an experience like this before. I'm just getting around to leaving this review, but a couple months ago I entered the store I walked up to the counter and there was a young woman organizing the meat directly in front of me, she did not even look up, no hello or anything, just completely ignored me. There were two young gentlemen making sandwiches for other guests at the time. I stood there for a few minutes and then she eventually came over and asked me what I wanted I told her I wanted two large subs and got more into specifics and she stopped me saying they will help you with the rest, she was very off putting and gave off a negative vibe. Every time I have gone to Jersey Mike's the workers have been extremely friendly and welcoming, so this was very unlike any staff I have encountered at Jersey Mike's even at this location. The young guys were very nice, one asked her a question, so I assume she was a leader of some sort, she was very condescending to him and the way she answered it made it sound like she thought he was an idiot. You could tell the young guys were not very happy working with her. I got to the register and she started packing my sandwiches, she pushed her whole arm against the sandwich absolutely smashed them down when wrapping them. I asked for the oils on the side, she tossed them loosely in the bag, which ended up leaking and making a mess, usually they stack them and wrap them nicely and set them in carefully. She made me feel uncomfortable the whole time I spoke to her. I really hope she is not a leader and if she was/is she should absolutely not be, she shouldn't even be working there. I only gave one star for service since the guys were nice. 4 stars for food since it was smashed, which made the bread more dense. To say I was appalled at this experience is an understatement. It makes me not want to go to this location again, which is disappointing. read more

Today on my quest for hunger, I was traveling far and wide when I happened upon jersey mikes on poway and community road. Although the location itself was small, I did not let it fool me. The workers here are great - especially the manager. It is my belief that people of such caliber are the most representative of such a very good company! Let me start this review by saying this review should not reflect poorly on the two people working the restaurant by themselves. I placed a mobile order on Wednesday evening with a pick up time of 5:47. I showed up a few minutes late. When I got to the restaurant there was a line of 7 people and only 2 employees, both of whom were busting their butts to help everyone. There was one customer loudly complaining about the service as he waited, and yet the employees were still friendly. When I got to the front I was told my order wasn't ready, I waited at a table until it was. Sadly when I got home neither sandwich was correct. The only reason this gets 3 stars and not less is because of the 2 people working by themselves and doing a great job all things considered. read more
