They are not worthy of even 1 star after my experience. What a joke!!! I ordered a regular Italian sub. The person making my sandwich grabbed an already cut piece of bread which i assumed to be a regular size already. She then proceeded to cut of about an 1 1/2 of the bread and throw it in the trash. I was shocked!! Apparently she has such an accurate measurement on how big a regular size sandwich is without any type of measuring device. The person who received the other half of that sandwich also got shorted. She would rather throw 1 1/2 of bread away than give it to a loyal customer. The sandwich being made in front of mine was also a regular size and they were two different sizes. The customer in front of me even made a comment as well. The person making my sandwich said "I am just doing what I am told". Well if losing a customer is the result keep doing what your told and there will be more customers you lose. She said with an attitude "would you like me to cut another piece of bread" really that's the last thing i wanted. Not one person standing behind the counter offered to any help at all. Terrible service. Ordered online, drove to pick up order, added tip on top of payment, returned home - both subs on order totally wrong. Mistakes happen, called store and young employee was apologetic and offered to correct or reimburse. Received a phone call a short while later from staff claiming to be Assistant Manager Michelle who stated she had changed the store policy and the only thing that could be done would be that I would have to drive back to store with the sandwiches. I asked why store policy is to inconvenience customer twice. She ranted that she made order so she knows sandwiches were made right. Well, no one said anything about the assembly of sandwiches being wrong but the sandwiches I was given and returned home with were not what was ordered. Made up policy and inflated ego prevented Michele from getting over herself and doing right by the customer. In a competitive made-to-order sandwich market maybe getting the order right and placing customer service as of primary importance would be more important than middle management arrogance. So I came back today to give Jersey Mike's another shot. Last time things just took WAY too long, sandwiches were made incorrectly, and I left with a somewhat negative impression of what should have been a nice little lunch stop. Well I'm happy to say that today's trip went much smoother and I ended up with another good sandwich for lunch. Let me be clear, the quality of the sandwich was never in question, just the delivery. Overall I'd say that Jersey Mike's is still a bit on the pricey side, but it's manageable. Is $10.20 too much for a regular turkey sub, chips, and a drink? I guess we'll all have to individually be the judge of that. read more

While there are not a huge amount of choices I/e black olives, mushrooms etc. And they don't offer coupons, at least, not that I've ever found. I still love it. Sub in a Tub is always my low carb, healthy choice. I crave it! read more

This place is just a shame. Awesome quality ingredients with horrible employees/management. I asked for salt and pepper. The kid adds the salt, then goes for the pepper and none comes out. What does he do? Instead of getting another pepper shaker that actually has pepper in it, he looks at me, shrugs his shoulders, and proceeds to fold up the sandwich like that was acceptable because he was too lazy to do things right. I was disgusted. On top of that, they need a faster way to make hot sandwiches. Waiting 20 minutes after you order one to actually get it is just too long. This place has potential, but needs a major overhaul to hire employees who give a hoot about their jobs and streamline their sandwich making process! People pay way too much for your sandwiches to not get the highest quality sandwich!!! read more

This was my second time at Mike's. The first time my sub was loaded with meat so I did not mind paying a premium price. Today I ordered a giant and regular size sub, the meat and tuna was thin. I like the taste of the subs but not price. read more

The first time I visited a Jersey Mike's was this location. I was pleased to see how clean the shop was and more so how friendly the team was. Each consecutive visit I've made has given me the same feeling. The staff doesn't appear robotic taking my order and pushing me along down the line. Instead, they smile, chit chat with me a little and make me feel welcome. I spoke with Asst. Mgr., Miguel to let him know just how comfortable the staff all made me feel. And the best part is the food is great! This location represents the company in the best way possible. It's official. I'm hooked! read more

The atmosphere is wonderful! First the customer service is great with an awesome manager Oliver, that keeps it 100% satisfaction guaranteed. Let me also mention the place is very clean and well decorated. Now for outside, they have a beautiful water fountain that gives that great feel overall as you enjoy your delicious sub. NEVER EVER go to this shop!!! Their customer service is TERRIBLE, and they have the WORST attitudes I've EVER encountered. Place a catering order on October 29, for pickup on Nov 12; two boxes #7 and #13. Arrive, they're trying to give me JOSH'S order, and proceed to tell me "there is no order for you". The little twit who was waiting on me had TOTAL attitude, and actually had the nerve to say "you really placed an order 2 weeks ago for a pick up today--really". I looked at her and said "yeah is there is problem with that"? She responds back "well MOST people place their orders 24-48 hrs in advance". Somehow they have the #13 order sitting in the back, and but his time, I've already pulled up my banking info which showed the charge of $119 going through on Oct 31. I've seriously asked by Miss Snarky "do you want us to make the other box for you?" I asked her "do you think I paid $119 for ONE BOX of sandwiches? Yes make the box, it's what I paid for". 30 minutes of ANOTHER employee making the sandwiches, as at this point, the ORIGINAL twit was taking walk in customers. LOVE TEAMWORK. 30 minutes later, I'm being told everything is ready, and would I please sign for them. I walk up, only to discover I'm signing paperwork from the ORIGINAL ORDER from 2 weeks prior. The girl who made the sandwiches, along with ANOTHER worker carried everything to my car, I get home, only to discover NO MAYO, NO MUSTARD, LOTS of oil and vinegar, NO PICKES NO PEPPERCINIS, and 2 HUGE containers of lettuce, SOFT tomatoes, and a LARGE tray of olives. They couldn't even get that part right. Luckily for me, I was able to feed my party guests, but as far as EVER going to this shop again--FORGET IT!!! They want a tip and I would have been HAPPY to give one, but that one employee blew that out the door for the other workers. When you have ATTITUDE, with a SMART MOUTH, no I can choose other sandwich shops to go to. Funny, is I've gone to several other Jersey Mike's shops, and they're totally pleasant and there's never an issue. This one particular location in Orangecrest, seems to think they're BETTER THAN EVERYONE else. I'd definitely recommend EXTENSIVE customer service training with the focus on SHUT YOUR MOUTH AND SMILE even if you feel the need to make a snide comment. IF they think they're working $15/hour for this type of behavior and this is what Mike's employs, I feel sorry for the customers that visit this particular location. Came in tonight because didn't feel like making dinner or lunch for tomorrow..WRONG. 1st it took forever to get our sandwiches...I read on Yelp just now that a lot of people comment that they were slow..Yep! Also agree with others in Yelp that they don't use their time well....one is slicing meat, other one just standing there, another one just standing and the line is only getting longer! My husband in front of me order his sandwich, one sliced, other one then made it..slicer took on next person and I waited, no may I help u, slicer did another still no helping and I waited..my husband paid for his, sandwich filler guy went on to next person ....ami invisible! No they just suck! Had to ask...can I order a sandwich....when the guy made my husbands overloaded with cheaply lettuce and such a small amount of choices for Vegs, sauces, etc on my husbands second sandwich to take to work the next day hubby asked for just a little vinegar...didn't want it to turn soggy...iiick he just drenched it with vinegar and oil...YUCK! My husband had asked if there were great choices, he never got an answer...I asked too and even though I asked for the herb one I didn't get it..no mustard or any other condiments except oil and vinegar, hardly any Vegs to choose from, overloaded on cheapy lettuce..SUBWAY IS WAYYYYY BETTER. Worst service ever. My online orders here are always at least 20 minutes late. I purposely want to order online so I don't have to wait in the store, but nevertheless I am always waiting 10+ minutes in the store even when I arrive up to 20 minutes past the listed pick-up time since they never seem to even start making the food until I arrive. They didn't even get my order right this last time, but it still took them 40 minutes to make that one sandwich. Based on the other reviews of this location and my own experience, it's pretty obvious that this is the norm for this location and the manager nor the employees care at all. This has apparently been going on for a few years now, so it looks like it isn't going to get fixed anytime soon. If you are going to spend money here, definitely go in with the mindset that the employees will screw up your order, so double check everything, and they will probably take a long time to make that screwed up order. On the positive side, at least that gives you a lot of time to check if they messed up your order. Nevertheless, the food is okay, so 2 stars. read more
