Ok in all honesty this is the worst sandwich shop. So to start off for 2 large sandwiches, two bags of chips and a cookie it was $37 for sandwiches? Ok now let's talk about the slimy balls of processed meat. The taste is like salt and it has a slimy texture. No quality. Subs were good, didn't like the service at all. The male employee was nice and had customer service skills, the women on the other hand were rude, gave dirty looks and didn't look like they were happy to be there. Delicious sandwiches :) They slice the meat and cheese fresh on site. We've tried the Italian sub, supreme club, and turkey and all were tasty. The cookies are freshly made and such a deal at 3 for 1.25. The customer service is great and they really try to put a smile on your face. This is our new go to sandwich place. read more

Jersey Mikes is awesome! They do it right and so happy they are in Riverside. I have been driving 30 to 40 mins with my family to eat there before and now it is 5 minutes away. This is definitely a family favorite. It is no where close to a subway so don't expect they same type of wait times or fast food service. It is high quality food with fantastic service especially at this location. Great things come to those that wait and this is no exception. Great selection & wow were they busy! being a transplant from the "garden state" (why they can call that is amazing, at least with a straight face!) I got a kick out of the décor bringing back a lot of memories for me. Service was excellent. Everyone I had contact with was polite & efficient in doing their job & making recommendations. Some of the Subways in this area really disappoint me & some I wouldn't go back to again, even if it was offered free but here is a breath of fresh air being managed by people that go out of their way to make sure your visit was a good one. read more

Finally a decent sandwich shop in Mission Grove/Orangecrest. I've been to this place four times now and haven't been disappointed. Friendly people behind the counter and my sandwiches have been fresh and delicious. My favorite has to be the grilled pastrami reuben, although the turkey and club were tasty too. Who knows ? I am sure I will have a few favorites before long. I plan on being a regular. It's just nice to get a good sub without having to go downtown. read more

While this place is great, the price doesn't reflect the quality. This is my second visit. The first time I was a lot more impressed but the second visit I found that there was a lot less meat. The flavor is decent, it's a lot better than Subway but not for the price!. read more

I never really knew how yummy this place was. I get the buffalo chicken wrap...yum. My husband gets that big Philly cheesesteak. My only issue with the food was that my poor son got a kids ham and cheese sub and biting through the bread was a huge challenge. It was ridiculously hard for a place that "specializes" in sandwiches. Next, I agree with the whole tip thing at the check out...its a bit much but doesn't bother me too much I found the 2 ladies working not very friendly. Not sure if they are overworked or what, no smiles ...just seemed to be annoyed to have to deal with people in general. read more

I'm from Philly and dearly miss the hoagies and steak sandwiches that I grew up with. I've tried several Jersey Mike's locations and have found them to be above-average in their Philly-style fare. With this new location opening just up the street, we'll be seeing a lot less of Subway and Blimpies. read more

Terrible service! I ordered a sandwich like I typically do I do at any other jersey mike establishment, I asked for the sandwich Mike's way (which normally gets taken care of without any issues) then I ask for half without tomato and a half without onion. The young boy working there named Nick asked if I wanted mayonnaise and mustard on the top,(it was out of the ordinary) without seriously considering the question I said sure Mike's way. After noticing that mayonnaise and mustard were being placed on the top of the bun I realized what had been asked and that it was not usually on the sandwich I order. When I asked him if it always comes with mayonnaise and mustard he said no, then I politely ask if you can take it off instead off, instead of responding with a yes he said " that's why I ask you if you wanted mayonnaise and mustard". He proceeded to scrape off the mayonnaise and mustard from the top of the bun, I ask again politely if I could get a new bun. Again, instead of saying yes or sure he responded with "that's why I asked you if you wanted mayonnaise and mustard". By this point, I asked them to disregard my sandwich, the managers name (Oliver Phillips) and left the store. I will not be going back to this location (i would encourage others to do the same) a simple yes, sorry for the misunderstanding or no problem would have solved everything. As a paying customer, I expect to be treated as such. After all, I am paying for the sandwich the employee is not. This young man needs to learn better customer service. read more

The assistant manager was making my sandwich while giving another customer some pepperoncinis without changing her gloves or rinsing them with water. When I brought it up as a possible allergy issue she got extremely defensive and rude. She dismissed my concerns and didn't seem to care. She also became very rude and argumentative!! I dont have an issue with the taste of the food, the subs i have had so far are great. My issue is the payment system with relation to ordering hot and cold sandwiches. If i order a cold sandwich i stand in line while its made and i pay at the end of that line once its done. If i order a hot sandwich, someone takes my order at the front of the line, hands me a ticket and says "oh, no line, go ahead and go up front to pay". And that is exactly what they do. They march right up and the people waiting to pay for their cold sandwiches get the stop sign while the hot sandwich people pay for their food and then wait for it to be done. This works fine if there are 4 people in line. It does not work at 12 noon during rush. My sandwich sat made and ready for 7 mins on the counter, and another 7 mins after it was wrapped up. I literally waited the last 7 mins at the register while the cashier took care of the people who just ordered their hot sandwiches. In fact, a few of the hot sandwich guys that were way behind me paid and got their sandwich before i even got my sandwich wrapped up. By the time i got it open to eat it was a soggy, oily mess. There was no bottom bread, only mush. Very disappointing $8 sandwich. Also, 12 noon on a Friday should yield more than one cashier, especially if this is the system you have chosen. And that 1 cashier should not have to keep track of the hot sandwich orders and have to run back and forth to see whats ready. In between being parked behind hot sandwich orders for people who had been there 5 mins to my 25 mins the cashier had to step away to check hot orders. This location is new, but Mikes isnt, and neither is common sense in the restaurant business. I like the food but its not worth the hassle....and the hassle doesnt make the food worth the price point. I get a way bigger sandwich for that price at Togo's. read more

What the heck! I have been coming here since they opened. At first this place was filled with happy energetic workers. This place was popping! Then the past few months the service went from mediocre to terrible. I don't see my regular girls anymore and they have been replaced by some of the rudest folks I have ever encountered. The boss man, I think his name is RaJ looks over his staff and I think causes the staff to be nervous and complacent. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE! LOVE THE FOOD HATE THE VIBE! I usually love Jersey Mike's subs, but the employees at this location are rude. After ordering over the phone, I arrived to find no one in line, but they hadn't started my sandwich. When I questioned why, I was told that they told me my order would take 15 minutes. When I asked if that was the policy and why wouldn't they start it right away, I was asked to leave. The other employees were no better.. as the sandwiches were being made, another employee asked is that too much vinegar? Your face looks confused. Wtf?? You're in the service industry dear, a customer is spending their hard earned money at your place of business. Shhh. By the way.. your vinegar is watered down. It was practically clear. Ewww. I had the tuna and it was meh. Paying at the register and the girl making our sandwiches says here ya go and kinda tosses them in our direction on the counter. Wow. We decided to grab dinner here. I called in a #56 Big Khauna and A sub in a tub. Hubby went to pick it up @ 8:15 in the evening. He got home and I asked how was his sandwich , he said I think this is the wrong sandwich, because big khauna is philly cheese steak with extra cheese and jalapeños, neither on his sandwich. So I called up there and spoke to Kayleb, who never asked my name, but I let him know my order was incorrect. He was not sure how to fix the problem, he said well people usually drive back up, I explained did not want to drive back up tonight, so he was like well thats all I can do for you. He said hold on, asked the other person there and he said yeah thats it , sorry! I said you mean to tell me I paid for a more expensive sandwich and all you have to say it that's it nothing else I can do for you. I said you are not going to try and fix it , he said sorry, nothing else I can do . So I asked for his name and when a manager will be in . I explained you have not resolved anything and I will be letting the manager know. He said will be there tomorrow, opening at 10:00, and he hung up. To the manager, you might want to give some training in "customer service " . Not to mention there was maybe 1/8 cup of lettuce in my "sub in a tub", meaning it is a salad in a bowl, made with any cold sub. Meat and cheese sufficient but very little lettuce which does not make for a good salad. I had to add lettuce to make it a true salad. read more

We were so excited a Jersey Mike's was coming to town, but this is a disappointment. Tables are always dirty, and customer service sucks. They always make too many sandwiches at one time, and get them wrong. My husband and I order things as slowly as possible, but they're so preoccupied with multi tasking they always mess up. Always.
