The young man taking the order apparently thought this might be a crank call as he didn't ask for a name or telephone number associated with the order. Finished up at Food Lion, arrived to pick up the sandwich and it wasn't made. In this age of call ahead everything, I was surprised that they didn't even attempt to make it. When we were ending our phone call, there was no goodbye, just a mumbled grunt of illegible acknowledgement. They also don't take coupons. There were a lot of people inside and the employees were quick making all of the sandwiches. I ordered a giant Ultimate Italian with added cucumbers and Jimmy Peppers. Holy heck, a giant is HUGE! There's no skimping on the meat or toppings. I enjoy ordering by filling out a bag and watching it travel down the line. Being able to bring back the large plastic cups for $0.50 off future refills is great value. I only have two complaints. The first is that whenever I order online and it includes a French dip, the au jus sauce that's put in the bag ends up spilling out. This is in spite of the container being wrapped in aluminum foil. The second complaint is also involves the French dip sandwich--the container of au jus is not filled up enough. If I order a large (10.5") French dip, I'll receive one half full container of au jus. I've made it a point to ask for extra, which seems to work.
