Poor Service "Romeoville Jersey Mike's On Weber Rd. Failed to provide napkins with a to go order. The sandwich fell apart and ruined th inside of a car. Store mgr. was a jerk on the telephone. Don't contact customer service either because they're worthless also. They steer you to the app to se file a complaint/message but no one ever responds back. The staff at Dunkin Donuts across the street were more than happy to help with cleaning up the mess. Stay away from this Jersey Mik's location. It's a scam!!!! read more

I ordered the Italian "My Way" which is large on wheat, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, mayo, mustard, vinegar, pepper, and cut in thirds. I wish they would store that in the customer profile as I pretty much get this by default and not "Mikes Way", no offense. (Suggestion to Corporate). The sandwich was fantastic. I am happy that the consistency between stores is very good, there has been no noticeable shrinkflation after the sale of the parent company. No cheapening of the product. The store was clean And staff was presentable and kind with good manners. I will definitely be back to this location as I visit friends/family in the area. IT'S A SHORE THING Everyone's got a favorite sub sandwich; mine happens to come from Jersey Mike's. This Romeoville J-Mike shares a building with a Panda Express on south Weber Rd, across from the Farm & Fleet. The storefront has a mosaic-like rock façade, a stylized touch that makes this place appear newer than it actually is. Employees were chipper and I got helped right away. Sandwich order was the usual: #2 regular on rosemary-parm bread, prepared "Mike's Way" with extra mayo & pepper relish ($8). I rarely get lunch combos anymore - at $2.79 for a fountain drink and $2.79 for a bag of chips, your cheap-ish lunch can quickly become $15! The kid at the register commented on how their hand scanner didn't work and wasn't sure when they'd be getting a new one, so I had to punch in a phone number to claim my loyalty points. I've said this before but their rewards program is way more generous than other places. As I was leaving, no fewer than a dozen people came into the sub shop all at once. Clearly, I grabbed my food at the perfect time before the lunch rush started and I'd have had to wait in line for a while. Showing up at 11:55am versus noon makes a world of difference, go figure. * TL;DR * Doesn't matter if the Jersey Mike's is in a lagoon or on the moon, I will seek them out (and seek them out soon). Their cold subs are strangely addictive, most are reasonably priced, and the pepper relish is a standout condiment. I still prefer J-Mike over the competition for a sandwich of the non-toasted variety (as far as hot subs go, the "wreck" @ Potbelly can't be beat). Happy to recommend, likely to return. read more

Terrible. Used to eat here on a regular basis pre Covid-19. Not anymore. Braved the outside world to pick up a few sandwiches for my wife and I and her co-worker. Dropped theirs off and headed home anticipating the goodness. Thinking about meat piled high, lots of mayo and oil/vinegar. Sandwich used to be a big, wet glorious expensive handful. Not any more. Got home, sandwich is meager with the meat. A few slices of each at best, used to be piled high. Almost dry. I got it "Mike's Way" as always but I could hardly tell. It was mostly bread. So I finally got to try this place after months of wondering what the deal was with Jersey mikes. Omg was this a fail. I had the Italian sub. This sandwich has absolutely no flavor to it at all. The sandwich was covered with shredded ice berg lettuce. I spent 26 dollars on lunch for two. Jimmy Johns tastes much better than Jersey Mikes. The cookies are a joke. They are very small. The cheese is sliced so thin that you don't even taste it on the sandwich. Not impressed at all. New Jersey does not know how to make a sub. Chicago sandwiches are way better!! I've eaten here before and enjoyed the food and service. The employees this time though... so not into paying attention to the customers that they rang my mini and drink up as a large with chips and a drink. I thought DANG, expensive little sandwich... and while I was eating, I looked at the receipt. They were apologetic about it and credited my account and then charged me the correct amount but I'm not seeing the credit on my account YET when I access my bank (I see the wrong charge AND the right charge!) so something isn't right. I'm not real thrilled about this. It was my debit card and I'm cash-strapped at the moment. I better see that credit of almost $10 very soon! The sandwich was fine but today I had "digestive issues", not sure if it's related to the sandwich or not but I haven't eaten anything since then so I'm guessing it was the sandwich that upset my stomach. The service and food preparation was terrible The was one person behind the counter, 4 employees standing out back smoking So the one person made my 2 sandwiches very hasty. My # 4 Turkey hardly had any turkey and they forgot cheese. I asked " wow light on the turkey". He replied $1.92 for more. I said do you have any comment cards. ********WARNING SOME FOUL LANGUAGE USED!******* I do not like to review chains but since this is a new chain to Chicagoland I may as well. First the steak sandwhich is down and outright disgusting! They put sauce on it that tastes like some kind of salad dressing, and you get very little meat, which is good because the meat tastes like crap! I also tried the Italian sub and that was pretty good. The meat was fresh and so was the bread, this is waaaay better than stupid Jimmy Johns or aweful Subway. My problem is the prices are way too high. I would highly recommend God Father's Eatery in Lockport instead. It is way cheaper and the sandwichs are even better, see my other yelp reviews for location. Jersey Mikes has good qualities and bad ones, if you are too lazy to drive to Godfathers, then I recommend this place if you have the money to spend, since it is a rip off. How about this Jersey Mikes, try paying your employees more so there is not need for a tip. Ok enough of the tip rant because it makes me feel shitty complaining too much more about that, I just find it funny. I felt ripped off by getting non-fresh bread at more than retail value, especially thanks to the tip! By no means am I a cheapskate with tipping. I tip delivery driver minimum $5 when I get food delivered and I tip waiter/waitresses 20% minimum. I just have a huge problem tipping Jersey Mikes, a corporation. Their subs are great. Love the Italian and it's great if you add chipotle mayo to it. Meat and bread is always fresh and delicious. Only downfall is their soup is not fresh. Last time I was there I asked for soup they said if I really wanted it they could open a bag and microwave it. Yuck. Besides the soup everything else is delicious. read more

We heard that they had gluten free bread, so we called to verify and the woman over the phone let us know they did have the gluten free bread available and also checked it for the other allergens we were concerned about. We headed in and he woman behind the counter remembered us from the phone call and proceeded to explain their procedures for making sure everything was kept as free from allergen cross contamination as possible. She sterilized all surfaces and washed her hands before and after doing so. She also washed them again before putting on a fresh pair of gloves before starting our order. She asked for any other allergies so that she could verify everything we were getting was safe. She made our sandwich quickly and efficiently and safely away from all the gluten ingredients. They are really well versed on safe handling practices and very aware of their ingredients. It was very refreshing to see this in a time where so many restaurants and quick service places treat allergies as an inconvenience. We will definitely be going back regularly. read more

I heard nothing but great things about this place. Changed my mind tonight because although the sub was good it was the absolute most awful service ever. I called in my order at 630. Was told 15 minutes. Got there at 7. They hadn't even started my order. I had to wait. I'm handicapped and have a hard time standing and this was ridiculous. I had to stand there till 720 when I got my food. On top of that my Son missed his lunch as he had lunch from 7 to 730. Sad state of affairs. We won't be back. read more

Very disappointed, and confused, by the level of "douche-baggery" being displayed by the jag-offs they have working here. The owners should be ashamed of themselves, because it looks like this has been going on for awhile at this establishment, according to the other reviews- my bad for not looking at them before walking into this dump. It started when I walked-up to the "ordering side" of the counter and the frumpy looking gentleman behind the counter, who finally stopped his conversation with his buddy in the back to take an order, says "what's up?" Now...I know I look (and am) cool enough to warrant that kind of welcome, lol, but don't say "what's up" to any customer, ass clown. But, I play along and tell him what I want, and he pulls out my bread...which he then proceeds to cut like he's blind- he started way at the top of the back part of the bread then went at about a 45-degree angle downward toward the front. So now I have a completely whacked canvas for my sandwich...it actually looks like a hatchback car, but I don't say anything. He threw on the meat and cheese and passes my Prius to the next village idiot to slop on some haggard looking lettuce and tomatoes which looked about as fresh as my dogs turds after I feed him table scraps the night before. This genius actually does a decent job, until I asked for yellow mustard...which for some asinine reason they keep in the back and have to walk about 15 feet there and back to grab (I can't fault this place for doing that, however, because they all do that).....he comes back and pours about a tub full of mustard on the sub, slops the thin top part of the bread on top of everything and cuts and wraps it. I could already see the mustard pouring out of the sides of the bread and making the paper wet. BUT, I chuckled to myself and paid knowing I wouldn't be returning here. I really enjoy coming to Jersey Mike's in Romeoville. I feel right at home as the staff there has taken the time to get to know as a customer and person. They are always courteous and polite when I come in. I tend to be a creature of habit so when there was a time that the sandwich I order was not available the staff offered me another option that was just as good. The staff always greets me when I come in no matter how busy they are. I also love that everything is made fresh. The meats and cheese are cut as they are preparing your sandwich and not just sitting out in the air. I would like to thank the staff for their hospitality and courteousness. First off, terribly slow service. Waited ~20 mins for a sandwich, while at the same time, there were multiple people walking out. The guy who was taking the orders was talking to me like I was one of his friends, and not in a good way, very unprofessional, also not wearing a name tag or any JM branded apparel. The two working the front could not figure whose sandwiches where whose. There were multiple sandwiches that came up to the register made totally incorrect, leaving the customer frustrated. All this due to the unprofessional "bro" that took our order. In the end, the only representative I can stand by is the cook. She made our sandwiches well, and brought them out to us.
