Last Wednesday, April 8, my wife's team of teachers had the food delivered to their school for lunch and it was terribly disappointing. This first time we've tried them will also be the last. One of the sandwiches was left off/missing from the delivery, and the other sandwiches that were delivered had way too much dressing on them, and the bread was sopping wet. When they called about the missing sandwich, they argued that the driver must have stole it and it wasn't their fault and not their problem. After a couple of hours of arguing and complaining, they finally credited back the sandwich, but made no apology and no offer to try and make things right. The food is fresh and light airy goodness. Its pricey... I spent $70 on 3 subs and a wrap. No drink, no chips. Nothing here is really custom made and they dont have much options for dressings aside from mayo which is not convenient. I would come back if I was sick and desire something fresh and light but overall its pretty bland and expensive. read more

Today we visited Jersey Mike's on Potranco Road. We wanted to make sure that every penny we spent went to Eva's heroes. When we entered we were greeted by the owners and staff. Everybody was very friendly. We ordered the usual the Italian sub, and the California sub. Everything was made to perfection. The sandwiches were huge and filling I want to stress to you how clean the store was, how friendly the staff was, and how delicious the food is always at Jersey Mike's. I had the pleasure of meeting one of the business owners, Misty what a great gal with a great personality, we live in Converse but we will definitely be driving across town just to see Misty and her staff and to get the best made Jersey Mike's sub in San Antonio. No one answers the phone. I picked up an online order, they forgot a part of the food order and I couldn't make it back to the store once I got home. Called the business phone multiple times within the hour to attempt to let them know of the issue so they could try to remedy the issue. Unfortunately I will have to try to go back later this week and hopefully they can make it right. read more

Well I love Jersey mikes sandwiches. But first I would like to talk about the crew that worked today (16Oct22 @ 3:30pm). I didn't get any of their names but they all were amazing. First the girl that was taking orders. I explained to her how I love mushrooms and would like extra mushrooms on my sandwich (56). She made sure she marked it. For me that is big. I have told many locations and they never do it. Then there was a young lady making the cold subs. She was just so friendly and polite. While she was making the subs she sparked conversation with me and other customers. It was great everyone was smiling. I was impressed how she still never stopped working while being so kind to everyone. Then when I got my sandwiches. The cook was bring them over and let me know she put in the extra mushrooms. And she had a wonder smile. WOW this crew was amazing. Ok the giant 56 was made to perfection. It had easy jalapeños and the extra mushrooms I requested. The flavor of the great like always. Also ordered a chicken bacon ranch. It was great. Both breads where very soft and tasty. And so happy about this new location. read more

I've ordered to go a few times. Tonight was the first time dining in. The staff is friendly & courteous. I decided to try the Buffalo chicken. It's made with Frank's hot sauce. Has blue cheese dressing in it I opted for ranch. The sandwich was delicious! The only thing I have to say I didn't like was the bread was saturated(wet) so made the bread soggy . On May 5th, at around 2 pm I ordered a portobello sandwich with American and added guacamole. No green peppers. WhenI opened the wrapped sandwich, , it was drowning in juices that I couldn't even pick it up with out it falling apart. I literally had to use a fork and knife to eat piece by piece at a time. I was extremely disappointed. I had to ask for a separate paper to transfer the remaining sandwich because the Pattie's was falling apart. A side note: As we entered the facility, one of the two young ladies turned around and made a comment to her co worker that gave indication it was us as the other young lady tried not to laugh. It was that same girl that made the comment that made my sandwich. I don't plan on returning there. read more

This review isn't for the food. The food is outstanding and delicious. This is for one staff member in particular. I wish they wore name tags. He seemed to be a manager as he was the oldest. A white gentleman with very low cut short hair. The way he talked to his other staff members was completely disrespectful and not needed. It seemed like one member was newer as she was asking a few questions here and There about how to do things. He was entirely too rude to her and almost belittling. It's one thing to do it in general, but another to do it in front of customers in the store (about 5 of us). There was also another gentleman staff member who seemed pretty young and he talked to him the same exact way. A customer asked for 2 sandwiches and they made 2 correct and randomly made a 3rd. When the customer tried to tell this manager that he didn't order it, the manager threw his hand up and told him to calm down they'd fix it. Unprofessional. I went to pay and unfortunately I didn't see the sign on the pin pad about not tapping, as I'm so used to doing it so that is in fact my apologies for not seeing it, but to talk down to me about how if your system does down it will be down for 10 minutes and pretty much scold me, is crossing the line. I'm not sure what this gentleman's problem is but he clearly created a hostile work environment for his team mates and I hope they up channel to the proper department. Hate to write 1 star reviews. Disgustingly disappointed on this online order. Ordered provolone and no mayo. No cheese AND EXTRA MAYO?! This is obviously done on purpose. I have tried numerous times to call and NO ANSWER. I demand a FULL REFUND. I have been here and have done online orders before and have been in store. This is so disgusting. Who orders Mayo with a side of sandwich? I Can not stress how disappointing it is to come on here to get a supervisor's attention. SMH read more

Subs from here are always delicious! I personally like Jersey Mike's over Jimmy John's because you get a better tasting sandwich at a similar price point. The bread at Jersey Mike's perfectly wraps all the meat, cheese, veggies, and sauces together for the perfect bite of sub. I like ordering thru their app because you can easily customize the sub, add chips or a drink, and pick up your food in 10-15 minutes. Depending on where you live in relation to the storefront, the app also allows you to place orders for delivery. My favorite sub to get is the Club Sub (#8, cold), which has turkey, ham, bacon, provolone, and mayo, in addition to the standard lettuce, tomato, onion, red wine vinegar, olive oil, oregano, and salt (which are customizable). I also add cherry pepper relish, dill pickles, and sometimes spicy brown mustard. Normally we have good luck with this place. Today, I ordered online to be picked up at a certain time. When I arrived to pick it up, it wasn't ready. The woman at the counter says, "It totally slipped my mind. " and proceeded to wait on others instead of getting my order ready. It took 11 more minutes until I finally received my order. read more

I ordered the big kahuna cheese steak and it was amazing. I had it delivered and it was hot and fresh and it wasn't messy. The sandwich has loads of flavor and every bite was just as tasty as the last; I didn't want it to end. I made some french fries and it went perfect with it. Really wanted a sandwich and this was close to home so I decided to give it a try. I had the number 11 and I was able to customize it. Everything was done online so all I had to do was go and pick it up. Typically would only eat half a sandwich but it was so good that I ate the whole sandwich. I was excited to find there was a location close to me on potranco and I've order maybe about 6-8 times in the past 2 weeks and have gone inside and ordered online and it's been nothing but great! Horrible location at Potranco for a usually great sub shop. I made my order online and paid was confirmed a pick up time. I arrived 5 minutes early and waited in my car while several customers went in and came out with subs. After my pick up time i walked in and asked to pick up my order that was taken and paid for more than 15 minutes ago. They advised my order wasn't ready. I waited another 10 minutes in the store while others came in and received subs they just ordered and they left. They still hadn't started my order and i went to ask how much longer and response was i don't know. Now i have seen about 10 customers show up after i ordered and paid on line leaving with subs and my sub still wasn't even started to be prepared. I went to my car for another 10 minutes and came back and girl at register advised my order still not ready as they continued to take orders and make subs for people that just showed up. Now its more than 30 minutes since i ordered and paid and more than 15 minutes after my scheduled pick up time and they still hadn't started to make my sandwich. I advised i wanted a refund, the lady made excuses they were short staffed and i advised that i have come into other jersey mikes and waited in line while they made me wait to order subs at store while they completed making previous orders online, i asked why they continued to help walk ins and ignore my order. She apologized with no explanation. It took several minutes and she advised i will receive my money back in 3 to 5 days. When my money was taken from me immediately. I really didn't understand that either, but it was obvious customer service or even logic didn't existed in this location today. Worst service in a long time anywhere and by far worst jersey Mike's experience ever. Sadly my normal 151 location was closed for renovations as this never happens there. Subs always ready when i arrive no excuses or issues. I will not go back to this Potranco location because of this experience and lack of customer service or even attempt at problem resolution. I have been frequenting jersey Mike's for years and belong to their loyalty program, so i go often and have never had such a sad excuse for service. Very Pathetic!!!! read more
