While the overall flavor of the sandwiches and wraps was actually very good, there was little to no protein inside mostly bread and tortilla, which made the meal feel unbalanced and not very filling. Fast service, good food and plenty of options. I went for lunch to meet up with friends. I couldn't decide what to eat since everything looked very good. I ended up getting a sandwich, but next time I will get a baked potato. They have plenty of sandwich options to include vegetarian. I ended up with a vegetarian sandwich. For my side I chose a tomato and cucumber salad. The sandwich was delicious with plenty of veggies. The bread was nice and soft. The tomato and cucumber salad did have a lot of red onion in it. The good thing is that the red onion is cut pretty large so you can set it aside if needed. I ended up getting sweet tea since their sweet tea is very good. They have plenty of seating inside. Normally in a Rueben I sadly don't taste much of the dressing, but I could taste each individual ingredient and it was amazing. It wasn't soggy on the bottom Like I expected it to be. The Rachel was just as great, the turkey was juicy which surprised me. Mac and cheese was probably some of the best I've had from an establishment like this. It definitely didn't taste like plastic or cafeteria food even though it looked like cafeteria Mac and cheese. This is was definitely on another level. Baked potato was also a huge hit. Soft, fluffy, buttery inside stuffed with everything you could imagine. This place has gone down hill. I always get the Ruben. Today me and my husband stopped by for lunch. I got the Ruben and my husband got jalapeño crunch. We waited and waited. Excited to finally have a McAllister's on this side of town! Healthier options are relatively limited near bandera road, so having this in the area is a major win! As expected with a recent opening (especially in this busy area), it was very busy and the staff was playing catch up for most of our visit it seemed. Although it wasn't that bad. From the time we ordered, we waiting around 15-20 minutes for our food which I think is pretty standard. They weren't able to keep up with busing tables, and seemed to be short napkin dispensers so they were bringing them out as they brought out the food. They have a drive through available, as well as curbside pick up, or pick up inside. I ordered my "go to" McAllister's order, 1/2 sweet half unsweetened tea with peach syrup, and the choose two with broccoli cheddar soup and grilled chicken salad with ranch. I love their chicken and ranch with the salad, and the soup is always so good. (Upgrade to a bowl or bread bowl for a little extra.) read more

I came here because a co-worker of mine walked in the office with a soup and sandwich. The location is near my work so I decided to give it a try. This is a fairly new location so I expected better. I walked in and it looked cleaned so I ordered. I went to wash my hands, before I opened the door I could smell urine. I immediately thought, the floor isn't clean...I was right...then I saw the toilet and then the sink. Horrible. After carefully washing my hands, I head to a table. I chose the table with the least amount of water rings and crumbs...the entire side was full of dirty tables, including the seats. I observed the workers and noticed neither one really cared about the cleanliness. They would go to the tables after a customer left and pick up plates; No wipe down or sanitation. I could see 3 employees standing behind the counter on their phones, having drinks and not really caring about sanitizing. I would think with covid, there would be some sort of sanitation procedures happening. If they don't uphold a standard of cleaning, I can only imagine how the kitchen looks.
