Why I recommend it well it's healthy to start and they pay attention to detail and care about serving with a purpose. They have options between regular sizes and giant which can serve two people. Just walked into Jersey Mike's in Stamford on high Ridge. Some kid making a to go sandwich never turned around to greet me five minutes later he walks into the kitchen and disappears. I went next-door to chipotle. You guys need to get your act together. read more

Literally the worst experience i have ever had at a deli type store. Called 30 mins before arriving and they took my order and said they were busy. Showed up and the line was 10 deep...they served another takeout while i was waiting and kept the line going.... i stood by the "take out" area and finally they mentioned my name and order....then, they ignored, ignored and ignored me. In the meantime 12 people walked in and left with their in store orders. Finally, i go into the normal line and ask if this is the way to get my call in order from 45 minutes earlier...the cocky asswipe says, we are kind of busy tonight. I let the crowd know the facts of what happened and then left. I am done with Jersey Mike's in Stamford CT, good luck to anyone else who ventures in. read more

Food and cleanliness I enjoy my sandwiches as do my co workers the app is easy to follow

I was hesitant to order from this specific location because of all the negative reviews. But I wanted Jersey Mike's #17 and this location was the closest location I could get to before closing while on my commute from Boston back to Jersey. So I decided to take a chance and stop. At first I planned to eat my cheesteak outside because they have outdoor seating available. But there is an infestation of very large beetles that kept approaching me as I sat and waited for my order. So I couldn't eat outside as the beetles kept attempting to climb up on my shoes (even with the threat of stomping on them...they just did not care.) The lady who took the order was the same person to make the order. She was super friendly and provided excellent customer service. I actually planned on giving this place 5 stars because of how courteous she was (because the reviews had lowered my expectations so much). I just couldn't give this location 5 stars because the cheese wasn't cooked into the steak like all of the other locations that I have been to typically do. The steak is very plain and doesn't have flavor so it is vital that the cheese be melted all throughout the steak before it is applied to the bread or else the cheesteak is just okay. I ate half with my driver friend before continuing to Jersey and plan to cook the other half when I get home so the steak is covered in cheese (instead of just slightly melted on top) so I can have the cheesteak I was originally craving after a long couple of days at a conference for the Rare Advocacy Movement. Just a side note, I chose not to sit inside and eat in my car instead because of COVID and it was freezing in there. But while sitting in my car this guy illegally parks right in front of Jersey Mike's (when there are tons of available parking spaces in the lot) and walks up and down the store speaking on his phone at the top of his lungs via speaker for like 30 minutes. He had two younger boys with him who just looked around and sat in the corner while this guy wobbled back and forth (because his pants were not pulled to his waist) speaking on speaker while people were trying to place their orders and obviously get out of there. You could see how uncomfortable some of the customers were while this guy paced up and down the store speaking excentrically via speaker phone. He finally goes into the bathroom (and I am thinking he must finally be done with his very public conversation since he went into the bathroom) and after some time, he came out STILL on the phone using the speaker to talk. He then paced the store a bit more and then left Jersey Mike's without ordering anything. When he left, there was another customer waiting for his order to be ready just staring him down watching his every move as he jumped into his illegally parked car with the two younger kids and drove off (almost side swipping another car as he pulled off) chewing on an unlit cigarette. It felt absolutely insane to watch this guy have zero disregard for the people around him inside Jersey Mike's and then not even order any food. I probably won't be returning to this Jersey Mike's anytime soon but if I do, I will always choose to eat my meal inside my car or take it with me to eat on the road. read more

Stopped coming here. I would order over app and half the time they could not find my order and had to remake. The others half the time I got a lot of the wrong order. I complained to manager a few times. They have a bunch of kids working there that just don't care. One time a kid pretended to work there and tried to help. He ended up following me out of store with some choice words. He was lucky I didn't get confrontational. People will get tired of this crap. Next door at Chipotle is not much better. read more

Today was a wonderful day stopped into mikes sub to try an unusual sandwich to see if it tingles my taste buds in a different way. The service was neat/outstanding and everything was prepared fresh as well. I had the port - mushroom grilled cheese with cap ham and peppers. Now the flavor was to peppery and spicy on the heart. The worst online customer service. If you have a problem there is no one to communicate with. They don't have a customer service number and there is no support for customers. If you reach out to them via their means of communications, it takes forever, you have to continuously write them. When they finally respond, the response is very noncaring and nonchalant with a very blunt response. Jersey sub has zero interest in making good with customers. Horrible! Horrible! Was excited to get a Jersey Mike's in Stamford, but after the grand opening, the service has gone way down hill. I've walked in multiple times and the employees just stare at you - no "can I help you?" or "welcome to Jersey Mikes". I literally have to say "Are you ready to take my order?" Most of the time the employees are also on their phones or messaging around on the back and don't seem to care there are customers in the restaurant. Would be nice if they kept it cleaner as well, it looks disgusting behind the counter and the bread is more dry and stale than the old ones I went to in Jersey. Hope this isn't another case of quality and service going out the window because of rapid expansion. read more

I ordered the buffalo chicken (first time trying jersey Mike's) and just for the regular was over $10, fine by me I'm expecting something good. I took four bites of empty bread and by the time I got to the meat it was maybe 0.25 inch tall? Dumped what seemed like an entire bottle of hot sauce on it too. Also, how do you not have a chicken cutlet as a option and call yourself a sub shop? Who I'm their right mind chooses shredded chicken over a cutlet? Threw out the sandwich and went to subway - and that's saying something since subway is bottom tier (at least I'll get more than bread for over $10 - I'll get double meat). read more

While waiting for my sandwich to be prepared I watch a woman slice lettuce and at the same time, actively text on her cellphone which was undoubtedly covered with pathogens. I pointed this out to the man at the register and asked him if he believed it was sanitary to have her touching a dirty phone (which was in clear sight - not even trying to hide it) while preparing my food. This location just opened and it is insanely busy but let me tell you, they are handling it so well! I placed an online order and made it inside as they were finishing my sandwich. I am a huge pickle person and jokingly requested "more pickles than sandwich" in the notes section of my order and I saw someone about to close my sandwich with the usual amount they put until another female employee walked over opened it back up and put a literal fist full of pickles on it right in front of me, not aware that it was my order. I had no cash on me unfortunately so I couldn't tip you but I hope this review reaches you and gets you a raise.
