Two star for great customer service, but the food was not good…read more Before you come and order something, just take a walk around the store, you'll probably just walk straight back out and have saved yourself. Still interested, then continue to read my review first. First off, this is a Persian-Armenian market, not a restaurant. There are no seats. It's a mini store, somewhat like a convenient store. They have some fruits and veggies, but they all look bad, unless you want to buy green potatoes, floppy celery, cabbage that is the size of a tennis ball because all of its outer layers have been pealed, etc. The meat counter in the back, just go take a look. That would have been our out had I walked to look around first before ordering. I ordered the sosis bandari, chicken thigh kebab (shawarma) and an Araz burger. The Sosis Bandari was a German all-beef hotdog diagonally sliced and sauteed with onions, then stacked into a submarine bread with tomatoes. The bread was the only good part. The shawarma was thought to be the okay thing to order. Wrong! Burnt chicken. Possibly OLD burnt chicken. Thrown in a wrap with some onions and parsley. Nothing redeeming The burger came with fries. The fries were probably the best part of all the food, although it was not crunchy and could've been fried for slightly longer. This is a Persian-Armenian store, so the burger itself is seasoned as so. Although the woman at the front was very nice and explained that they make "smash burgers," it is anything but. It's probably cooked on a griddle, but we will never know as the food is made in the back. The burger patty itself was not crispy at all, no edges crispy or anything, it was just cooked well. The wait time.... After about 30 minutes, the "cook" or butcher or whatever he was, came running out to grab some tomatoes. Overall, and although I was the only person there, the total wait for these items was 40 minutes. I came here to give this new place a try, since it had low review count yet the reviews were raving. Not worth the try, save your money.

One was made with coconut, I do not like coconut at all, but I still tried it. The flavor was good, but I couldn't eat much because it was mostly coconut which isn't their fault of course. I also gave some to my husband who likes coconut and he said it's just ok. The other cookie was SO delicious. I warmed it up for a few seconds to soften it and they were perfect. Both my husband and daughter really liked them as well. I will definitely go back to try more items. It's a small grocery store, a bakery, and it looks like they serve prepared food as well. Parking is easy with a lot though spaces were kind of limited. But I think you can park on the street as well.

Food 1000/10 Service 10/10…read moreAmbiance 10/10 Okay I just finished literally eating my food and I usually wait to write reviews when I'm alone but this deserved immediate attention because WTF! Okay so I also got something else called suchi or chuchi sandwich with chimichurri sauce and clearly we didn't get a picture. To begin with it's located on the corner of the street so parking everywhere you walk in and already know you're going to get quality fresh food and sure enough the service and food and vibes were immaculate I'm for sure coming back very soon. They have an amazing menu stop by and check it out urself.

The employee asked if I wanted everything on it and I said yes. I was going to ask for veggies so I'm glad that the every topping question was asked. The sandwich was pretty filling. The bread was a little crunchy. The veggies spilled out of the first half of the sandwich I ate, which was understandable since it was pretty full. I like that the sandwich had a kick to it, it's because of the jalapeño and maybe the capocollo. My total was $18.71 which I thought was fair. It's cozy inside. Lighting was bright, artificial lights were on. I ordered at 1:09 pm. The sandwich was done at 1:17 pm. They were working on multiple orders. A few customers were inside. There were three tables inside. Newspaper clippings were placed on the walls along with certificates and decorations. Bars were on windows. Shades or curtains were placed on other windows. Cannoli were no longer in the fridges. I went here years ago so I noticed the small changes. Smells of food wafted through the deli. Menus were placed at the top of the wall. It's great that they take Apple Pay. I had to move my phone around to make sure the system processed my card but it worked. I think they updated their POS system. Both the employee and Mary told me have a good day and I thanked them both.

The Sandwich That Made Me Laugh Out Loud.... Cause it was so damn good…read more.... Tucked away in the back of an older business complex, this little sub shop is the definition of a hidden gem. Honestly, if it wasn't for a lunchtime search on my map app, I never would've found it--and that would've been a real shame. The place itself is small, and not the kind of spot I'd normally stop at. But never judge a book by its cover. The guy behind the counter was flying solo, but he was super friendly, chill, and made the place feel welcoming right off the bat. The menu isn't huge, but one item jumped out at me: "The Special." It's stacked with ground beef, roast beef, pastrami, provolone, bacon, avocado, and every fresh topping you could want--shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, red onions, a little mustard, and just a hint of spice. Warm, hearty, flavorful... this thing was ridiculous in the best way. I'm not even exaggerating--I actually laughed while eating it because it was so unexpectedly good. Every bite was perfectly balanced. The meats melted together, the avocado gave it that creamy layer, and the bread held everything together like a pro. It hit that sweet spot of temperature too--just warm enough to feel fresh and comforting. This place might not look like much, but it made one of the best subs I've ever had, hands down. If you're reading this: go find this spot. It's worth it. I am 100% coming back.

The menu is very overwhelming, so I asked if they had matcha since I honestly couldn't find it on the menu. They have three kinds, original, strawberry or banana. I ended up grabbing a strawberry matcha with almond milk (.75) strawberry purée ($1) cold foam ($1) if I would have known of all these up charges I would have just stuck with a basic matcha. But I must admit my $8.43 drink was actually worth it, the matcha had that bitter taste and the purée/cold foam tasted homemade. Service was great, I told them it was my first time here which it was; hence me being overwhelmed and the barista offered me a free cookie, I got the chocolate chip. They have a variety of drinks, smoothies, coffees, boba and teas. Some pastries (no gluten free) but they did have some vegan options. They also serve sandwiches, wraps and salads. I also saw a mini fridge with to go items as well. Inside had seating with two small tables outside. Small parking lot, but street parking near residential area.
