I was at the Mohegan Sun Casino last night (03/25/26) & it was around 9:00pm ... I decided to go the VIP lounge to get something to eat, but the line to get in was extremely long... approximately 25 people ahead of me. So, I decided to get a Sub at Jersey Mike's ... It was my first time getting food from this establishment. When I walked up to the counter, I was greeted by an older African American Woman ... She was smiling & friendly and asked what I wanted to order. My choice was the Roast Beef & Provolone ... We had a short friendly conversation as she was slicing the roast beef and placing it onto the grinder roll ... The next person I encountered was a young white male (mid 20's) ... He was the person who was going to be putting all the extras on the Sub. He was also smiling & very friendly ... I engaged in a nice conversation with him as well, as he was putting the toppings on my Sub (lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles, salt, pepper, oil & vinegar) ... I then proceeded to the register to pay for my food & was greeted by tall young African American Male ... (mid 20's). He too was smiling and friendly & asked if I wanted a soda to go along with my food. I said Yes, and he handed me a cup ... I was using my Mohegan Players Club Card to pay for my order & when I typed in my code on his i-pad, he noticed that I had a $100 Coupon ... He advised me of this & suggested that I use the Coupon rather than using my player points. I didn't even know that I had this coupon and I was grateful that He pointed it out for me & he did that for my benefit ... It was a Pleasure interacting with such a Friendly Work Staff ... I was Very Impressed at the way I was treated. I walked out of the shop & sat at a little table and began to eat my Roast Beef & Provolone Sub... It Was Delicious ... I was actually glad that the line to Mohegans VIP lounge was long and that I got to experience Jersey's Mike's ... I will definitely be going there again when I stay at Mohegan ... I had a chicken Chipotle sub there a few months back. It was the worst sub I've ever had. Chicken was dried out,they didn't put any Chipotle sauce on it. They had some kind of veggie on it it was dried out. I'll never go back. read more

Not safe for gluten free people! We ordered 3 subs and when they said they only had one gf sub available we were told they could give us our fillings on a bed of lettuce. No refund was given besides an extra drink no charge. One Sub came out and we never got our filling on a bed of lettuce just thrown into a container haphazardly barely a serving in there. We were promised it would be safe for allergies but we all felt sick immediately after eating. Had lunch there today for the first time at a Jersey Mikes. Wasn't busy, yet service with three staff people was dreadfully slow. Staff too concerned with talking to each other than actually recognizing the few people waiting in line. Watched as food/bread was touched with and without gloves, put on dirty surfaces, and a filthy slicer with mixed meat and cheese remnants being used over and over again. That said, against my better judgement I still had a sandwich and it was good. I'll probably just skip this casino version in the future and look for a regular store somewhere near me to give it another shot. read more

Two stars for service and food. We waited in front of two other people and ordered their chicken cheese steak. We then proceeded, as the other two people in front of us did, to wait for our food. We stood inside and waited, and after 20 minutes we asked the gal how much longer we should expect away. She then said oh, what's your name? She then proceeded to give us or sandwich which was sitting in the back for who knows how long. It was frustrating to wait that long considering it wasn't very busy and their staff should be aware of what's happening as we were standing right in front of them. This place was really good when it first opened, but sadly, it has gone down in quality at a steady pace. There seems to be a lot of staff turnover, which results in a lot of poorly made sandwiches. I've had to throw several away because there was just so much salt on them. On my last two visits, today and last week, I was told there was no roast beef. They are not open till 2 am on Friday and Saturday like their web site says. I think they close at 11. But maybe you should check with corporate before you walk from one side of the casino to the other only to realize they're closed. ....During the week they close at 10 pm but make sure you arrive by 9:45 since the "OPEN" sign is shut off and the front door is locked and you will have to endure the snide remarks of the staff since they have already started cleaning the grill...I really don't care what time they close but if their own website, Yelp and google all say "2 am and 10 pm" what time should customers assume you close? The last time I came they put on 3 layers and I was completely blown away but of course you are paying 15.69 with tax and that's a lot if there not giving you what your supposed to get. We waited 10 minutes and watched our grinder being given away to a customer who was 3 people in back of us in line. I kindly explained to the girl at the register that this happened and she rudely told me they are making another one and to wait again. So we did wait another 5 minutes, and watched as she gave 3 steak grinders away to a man who was about 6 people in back of us in line. I told her one of those should be ours, and she rudely said to me "You think you're privileged". She said that man goes there all the time and we needed to wait again. I didn't know why she said that but figured out later that it was a racist comment. I told her she shouldn't speak to customers that way and I was going to report her. She had no name tag on and wouldn't give me her name. As I was asking her to credit my card another employee threw a steak grinder across the counter at me. At this point I was so upset that I took the grinder and left. However I did go to Mohegan Suns customer service center and report this situation. They told me to contact this Jersey Mikes. I love Jersey Mikes. I had it for the first time last year in VA. After that came back home to Boston with no Jersey mikes. Two weeks ago we went to Mohegan casino and we saw jersey mikes there. Could not eat there since we were hitting the buffett that night but me and friend came back the next from boston just to eat jersey mike sandwich and the while we were there gambled a bit too. Their sandwiches are awesome specially the oil,vinegar and the Oregano combination which is the mikes way. This time i got a chicken Philly cheese steak with onions and peppers and Italian with salami and pepperoni . I got both regular size but you can get a 16" if you wanna just eat one type . Both were really ggood the bread was as soft as it could be and overall it was great. Now mind you there is nothing special about the sandwich or the menu except for the seasonings i mentioned and i guess it only caters to people who are really foodie and likes a little variation to their regular items. I know everyone puts oil and vinegar but their vinegar blend is different and hence the taste is good. Overall the service at the Casino location was awesome. Not happy with today's order... I ordered 7 giant Italians - Mike's Way. I asked for one with no onion. The 8th sub was a regular Pastrami Rueben. At the counter, I verbally verified my order...yet none were listed as "no onion", and all of the subs were "ready". So, I had to wait for them to make it. So, they took one back - and it disappeared...probably to be eaten by the staff. On my way home, I donated 5 of the Italians to a local charity. At home, my sub felt light (not sure about the other 5), and found out that the only meats on it were ham and salami. The one I gave to my brother-in-law (#7) was the same. I usually order up to 7-10 subs. I can only guess they trained someone new...poorly. Or, someone was lazy. Or, because it was Monday, they had run out of the missing meats. Or, perhaps, they don't want my business... Whatever the case...I guess I won't call ahead in the future, and I'll hold up the line so I can watch each one being made. read more

Good sandwich shop in Mohegan Sun. There are many sandwiches to choose from. I had the Roast Beef and Provolone sandwich-I had it made in a whole wheat wrap. All the ingredients are fresh. I like Jersey Mike's. i usually grab a salami and provolone served up Mike's way. Its delicious and the freshly sliced meats do make a difference. Now that there is one at Mohegan, this will be my goto spot for a casual bite. This location was fast and efficient. The line moved quickly however because of the volume of business sandwiches were sloppily assembled. Ultimately though it was a non issue as the sandwiches taste great. This is a casino location so the price runs even a little higher. The hours kind of blow - they arnt open late. They close at 22:00 Sunday thru Thursday, midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. I wish those closing times were more like 02:00 and 04:00. For comparison the Subway at Foxwoods is open until 04:00 on weekends. Hell the Subway at little ol' Twin River is 24hrs! read more

First visit ever to a Jersey Mikes, I dig it. I got the biggest sub that had, last beef, about 15 inches long and reasonably wide. 16 bucks. Decent amount of meat, but definitely not stuffed. The beef was excellent. Bread was really good but it was 10 o'clock at night when I went and wasn't as soft as I would have liked it, but definitely not bad.
