I called in for takeout and ordered 3 sandwiches and asked that none of them be cut. #17 was simple and made correctly. #6 Roast beef with only tomato and mayo. It was made correctly. I ordered #9 Club Supreme with provolone instead of Swiss, Mike's Way except no red wine vinegar. She said it comes with bacon, is that okay? I said yes. The sandwich was not cut and it had provolone, so they applied some notes. But it had no bacon and instead of Mike's Way, it was only tomato and mayo. So no lettuce, onion or seasoning. How do you read the notes and apply some but not others????? Of course I didn't discover this until I got home. I called and spoke to a shift lead and my options were drive back for a new sandwich or refund or she could send me a free sub card in the mail. I chose the sub card. But why can't you refund me for this sandwich over the phone? I have an account on your Website so you can see what I ordered. More importantly why can't you just make my sandwich correctly? My order wasn't that complicated. Shouldn't a shift lead or manager check people's work? This is not the first time this location has not applied the notes. But it's my local store. Last time I went to Jersey Mike's I drove to a location that was further away because of past issues with this store and all 4 sandwiches were correct at the other location. I wish I could give this place zero stars. I have been to a few Jersey Mikes in the surrounding cities. But by far this one by far has sucked really bad. Stale white bread, or drenching my sandwich in oil when I would tell the person making my sandwich light oil. Sorry that you hate your job and I can tell you do not want to be here. I've given Jersey Mike's corporate and local site enough time since November 7 when the incident occurred to credit me for a purchase that was wrong. Ticket 01-0 01352-99-053655. Corporate says its not their problem. store never responded. When you order online and pick up the item and the item is wrong the store should fix it. Or provide you credit immediately. That was not the case. It's only $10 jersey Mike's has proven to be a company that does not stand behind all of their advertising and has terrible customer service. The manager today was being an asshole today messing with a guest who was wearing a mask by asking him why he was wearing a mask. Then proceeded to ask this guest, "What's Coronavirus?" The guest who was older proceeded to explain what it was. The manager then proceeded to act dumb and unknowledgeable of what's going on regarding the Coronavirus, but then began to laugh because he was teasing the customer who truly believed him. The guest then asked the cashier, "Does he really not know what's happening?" The cashier then told the guest, "No he's messing with you." The guest looked upset and appeared to feel disappointed in trying to educate the manager on what Coronavirus is. This was totally uncalled for. This manager's insensitivity towards his guest is exactly what's not needed now. If anything, people in his position should not make his guest feel anxious or concerned when not necessary. Sadly, this location got my order completely wrong when I ordered through GrubHub.. I guess they just don't care to read the notes that I put in my order details? It looks like all of the sandwiches come "Mike's way" and I specifically noted that I didn't want my sandwich that way, but they didn't seem to read my notes. Very frustrating when you're paying almost $10 for a sub I could get cheaper elsewhere. Wow I go to Jersey Mikes in Sherman oaks on Burbank off of van nuys 2-3x a week. It was busy today and they had a slow worker making the sandwiches. The working taking orders from customers came to me and I told him the sandwich that I wanted and said they should have the fast girl who is a veteran working the sandwiches and the slow girl working the slicer during the rush. Which he agreed but then out of now where the owner stepped up from the table he was sitting at and got loud and rude and said not to demean his worker. I was not doing that at all. Im allowed to make comment especially if I waited already 20 mins and still have-not had my sandwich made. He then got mad/loud with me and rude and told me to leave and said I would not. I told him to pipe down and said the customer is always right and he said the owner who he is is "always right". He again threatened to kick me out and insisted I listen to him if I wanted to get my sandwich. He then went and got the ticket from the worker and went behind the line to the lady making the sandwiches and whispered in her ear put his last and put my ticket for my 1 sandwich order behind a 6 sandwich order which made me wait another 12 minutes for a total of 34 minutes to get my sandwich, also being harassed by the owner and him getting the customers involved with the whole incident. Jersey Mike's subs are great! I love how they're always stuffed with meat, which really fills me up. I have never experienced an issue with them, but for some reason this location continues adding peppers to my order, EVEN WHEN I ASK FOR "NO PEPPERS". The first two times they did this, my husband picked up the order, so I noticed this until he brought the subs home. I was hungry and had no other choice but to remove the peppers. The third time, I made an online order and made sure to customize it with "no peppers" and they STILL added peppers to the sub! It's like WHY?! I can remove them but there's a reason why I don't want them in my sub. Plus, the pepper flavor remains, even after removing them, which is so annoying. This is a nice location, and if I do decide to order from them again, I need to make sure I CONFIRM there will be no peppers in my sub before and after ordering! The manager at this location doesn't care for his customers. I've seen how unprofessional he acts towards customers. He is not a great example to be in a position of a manager. I couldn't get his name because he had no name tag including the other two workers & he was denying me his name. There's a lot of reviews of this location regarding bad service. It seems like not even the owner CARES to make any changes or even about his/her business. Having said that, the manager was the one that prepared the Philly cheese steak sub. I get home and notice that the sub was raw & looked like vomit. I have never received a Philly cheese steak that way at any other Jersey Mikes locations. I went back and addressed the problem, gave the sandwich back & asked for a different sub. It was replaced as it should have been. The manager then asked, if I wanted the raw sub back?????! Sorry to have to do this but DO NOT EAT HERE if you're concerned about following COVID regulations. Employee making the sandwiches was NOT wearing a mask. An employee in the back was also not wearing one. The employee proceeded to make my sandwich while talking, possibly contaminating the sandwich as well as ALL the exposed fresh veggies and condiments. When she was done I mustered the courage to mention her mask and she put it on, never apologizing, and didn't seem to think it was a big deal, leading me to think they just don't care here. Today is July 5, 2020, and I see another yelp complaint of the manager teasing a customer for wearing a mask 3 MONTHS AGO. I ordered the California club and the Italian (both are yummy!). I made a mistake when ordering and they were so kind to fix my order. I wanted some items on the side and they happily did. Everyone was so friendly and helpful during my visit, so I'll definitely be coming back Jersey Mike's is more expensive than subway, but you're getting better quality! The employees here are still newcomers to the business. It has that feel when you order that you actually know more about the menu then they do. Which, I don't think is any fault of their's individually. In fact, it's more of a testament to how I eat at Jersey Mike's too often and improper training. Both times I've came to this location for my lunch break, there has been a particular employee who I've noticed does not perform well under the busy rush hour.
