If you care about your car, I am begging you DO NOT GO to Jet Brite car wash in Villa Park on Roosevelt Road. They totally damage your car and then refuse to pay for it. Employees walk around with pieces of people's cars in their hands and then they claim that it's not their responsibility to fix your damaged car. The employees are rude and could care less about your car. You will wind up paying thousands of dollars for damage that their machines caused. If you file a damage complaint, they will send you an email four days later telling you that they are not at fault and will not pay for the damage. Why does every employee I've had interaction with seem to hate their job and are not friendly and respectful. Vacuums are in need of an overhaul as they don't suck, which is a bad thing. More often than not you get stuck behind the one person in the member only line not signed up and finding an attendant to help out is frustrating, as you watch a stream of vehicles go past you. They really need more than one attendant, who only stands at the non member line, when they are super busy at the entrance. Dryer isn't as good as when I first signed up. The membership is a deal if you like a clean car and go weekly. I tend to go every few days and have the jet package at $40/month. read more

Car wash is fine, BEWARE their membership club!!! I was charged for almost a year for a vehicle I had cancelled with an attendant. They never stopped the reoccurring payments! I had a 2nd vehicle that I changed my plates on and instead of removing the plates they added a new set and charged for both. I changed a credit card payment on a 3rd car and instead of removing the old payment they added another one, so I paid duplicate charges every month for the same vehicle. I lost easily $400 in overpayments due to trusting their employees to be accurately entering my information. The onus is on me for not looking at my reoccurring charges but it's very shady of JetBrite to not cancel when I ask them in person to specifically do it! read more

Wash malfunctioned in the middle and everyone IN the wash at least 4 cars -one after other were continually getting hit in front and back by each other because of malfunctioning belt. I like this wash as it appears to get my car clean particularly on the doors where other places don't do the best job. I also enjoy the brushes for pre scrub in tricky area. The vacuum power is always strong. Many stalls to use for vacuum or drying. The staff is helpful if you need them but they don't always look happy to be at work. The value isn't bad for unlimited washes with the monthly plan but you gotta make time to get there. I hope they don't raise the prices anymore as there are no additional perks. Spacious nice location. FYI weekends can get a little over crowd. But the lines do move pretty fast. This is now my go to car wash. In fact I signed up for the unlimited monthly wash program! The have free vacuums, a scrub brush bin for pre-washing your wheels, grill, etc, and a good wash! This is the only place I like to take my cars to get washed. Sometimes I splurge on the $10 wash if my car is especially dirty, otherwise I pay $5 for the rainbow polish to be included or $8 for when i want the rainbow polish with the rim cleaner. I am never disappointed when I leave and my car is so shiny I can see the car in front of me in the hood of my Passat. It's fast paced and you are in and out quickly (please note longer times during rush) even when it is supremely busy you are in and out in a good amount of time. I highly suggest avoiding coming here during the lunch hour because the line can get quite long, and can overflow onto Roosevelt Road. This is the only automatic car wash I will use since it is always working and the car gets cleaned well for a reasonable amount. The attendants always do their job to remind you to keep your foot off the brake and in neutral even though they must do this thousands of times. Their water filtration system for used water must be top-notch since any water residue looks clean. For those that have used "touchless" car washing, do be aware that some believe that the soaps used are more caustic to car finish than the brush action in other washes. I stopped using the touchless types when none cleaned my cars well. I hand wash when I can but this car wash is so good that I find myself using it more watching for swirl marks that I have no seen yet. read more

Last time I took my wife's SUV there it left scratches all over the drivers side. Compared to other auto washes the brush pressure seams to be real intense and almost feels like it is beating your car. Place is clean and vacuums are nice and operational. Free vacuums if you buy a wash! All the vacuuming you could possibly want- no time limit! That's what drew me to this car wash although I think I went to the one slightly further east on Roosevelt-maybe a mile east. There are a few Jet Brites. The one I went to had no line, simple self-service check-in where you just buy what you want -I got the simple $6 wash- and drive right in. No one at the end to wipe off the windows so no tip required. And other than to vacuum you never have to leave your car. It's nearly 100% automated, just someone to wave you onto the automatic rails. Funny though there is a sign near the vacuum bays "no loud music allowed" but the car wash was blasting loud music! I had to quickly vacuum and get out of there. It was quite loud! This place has to be my favorite $3 car wash. Coming here means getting a decent carwash but with all the excitement and anticipation of a roller coaster ride. First, the lines... The first time I came here it was pretty empty. Drive up to one of the pay boxes, selected my carwash, put in some cash, and*ding* up goes the gate to let me pass through to the carwash area. The second time there was a line in all three lanes, making it seem even more like those lines at an amusement park. The carwash is fairly thorough, with plenty of sprays and pretty colored soaps and rinses, but the best part comes at the end! With the heated air dryers. Going through this part at night when it was dark was like riding the Indiana Jones ride at Universal studios. Two (or is it three?) engines of flame blast your car with hot air to evaporate those little droplets of water into oblivion. Hasta la vista, H2O. Haven't made use of the free vacuum yet, but as mentioned in other reviews I don't recommend doing it when it's busy, it looks easy to get stuck when there's a line. read more

I couldn't believe how nice the car looked. The vacuums were very strong. It only took me a half hour from going through the car wash, and vacuuming. I would recommend going there. I've been to this location several times for a quick wash ($6) except for the long lines there is no complaint UNTIL NOW I pulled in as usual but as the wheels went on the roller I heard a crack!!! Which is never a good sound but there is no stopping so pulled through to pull out and a piece of my vehicle is dragging the ground I pulled over to alert the attendant (young kid just doing his job) Well he alerted his manager (Ramzi) who came over and instantly denied any liability on the part of the wash I explained the situation and was told I hit something before I came to the wash! It was like that when you pulled in It couldn't have happened here Just call your insurance.... After telling him that I know there's cameras he then said but it couldn't see that part of the car after calling his BS he then went to the camera and said "see it was like that when you pulled i! COMPLETELY FALSE He showed me the film and you can clearly see the part blowing out as the conveyer takes the car forward he said "No you was still driving so it wasn't our fault" More BS I will take his advice and call my insurance but I will also never return to this establishment and being a local business owner I will also Inform clients about management practices going on here... Great place. I have about 4 months winter grime and 2000 miles of road grime on my pick up. There was a free diy pre-wash for Road/bug grime, and there were plenty of entrances to get to the car wash. Price was right and they have lots of free vacuums along with several machines to clean carpeted floor mats. read more

Solid car wash place in the DG/Oakbrook area, cheapest is $3 for basic car wash but I tend to do the $5 or $8 one that cleans the bottom of your car and tires, which is necessary during the winter time. This place also provides free vacuuming for you to use after you get your car wash. The area is very clean and the vacuums are super strong! What irks me is that the car wash doesn't clean dead bugs in my front bumper well so I gotta scrub those off on my own. Avoid weekends and evening time (when people get off work) if you don't want to wait in line for the car wash. This place gets packed and an average wait time is about 5-8 minutes. read more

This place is a cluster of fuck. Cars coming in constantly and it's a one-way road. There are multiple lanes and almost all of them were occupied on a Saturday afternoon. It was a pain waiting for the vacuums to open up but I was excited when the suction on them seemed pretty intense. It did a decent job while the cars on either side of me weren't using their hoses. It seems a number of them are connected, so you lose a lot of power when someone else starts tapping into the system. It took me forever to try and get out of there and into the line because it was a constant stream of cars coming in for a wash and not letting people back out. Oy! If I remain unemployed for any extended period of time then I'll make it a point not to stop here unless it's some weird time during the week when most people should be working and not crowding this place. read more

I don't like to give poor reviews based on what is probably an unusual experience...It was a fast, time efficient, and effective carwash... But the attendant kept yelling at me (yelling) to put my car in neutral (which it was) and take my foot off of the brake (which it was). I was very confused (and flustered, since it is a high-paced carwash). Then he banged on my window and yelled at me to roll it down. He reached into my car over me (without asking) and started shifting my car (which was clearly in neutral), as if I didn't know how to shift my own car... He shifted it into drive and then yelled at me again to shift it into neutral. Eventually, whatever was the problem was resolved. Like I said, I'm sure this was very unusual, and I am not sure why he did not think my car was in neutral. Probably some people do not know how to shift their cars into neutral, and for some reason he thought I was one such person...but this could have been handled better. Even if it meant some people behind me had to wait an extra few seconds. My car is very clean now, and at a refreshingly small monetary price. So if you are looking for a cheap, efficient car wash, and are willing to risk the small chance that you will be insulted and treated like a gumball that is stuck in the dispenser (and I really would not blame you), this is the car wash for you. Been coming to Jet Brite for over a year now. We have a Suburban. Other car washes like Delta & Fullers, their wash equipment is sub-standard to the excellent wash equipment at Jet Brite. I always get the $10 wash and does a superior job on our huge SUV. It gives you undercarriage wash, tire shine, wax and a few other things. If you have a large SUV, I would recommend you ask the attendant to leave extra space behind yours as I've noticed that the wash sensors detect the car behind and the wash equipment will not scrub the entire back of your SUV. I would have given 5 stars however the only disappointment I have about Jet Brite is they don't offer wipe down service. read more
