From the moment I approached her, Jacoya was not only professional but also genuinely empathetic to my situation. She took the time to listen to my concerns and worked diligently to resolve my issue, all while maintaining a calm and friendly demeanor. Her dedication to customer service was evident, and it made a world of difference during a challenging time. It's rare to find such outstanding support in an airport setting, where personnel can often be overwhelmed and less approachable.     Flew out on JetBlue the other day and it was a decent experience. Booked via my corporate travel portal in Economy and was able to upgrade to Even More with cash. Check-in online was seamless and security was quick on the upper level as TSA Precheck. The boarding gate was clearly marked with clear announcements. There were plenty of seats at the gate. Once on board, cabin attendants wore their Jetblue uniform with name tag. Some opted to wear disposable gloves throughout the flight. We pushed back and took off on time. Service started off with a premium snack, before the cabin crew sold paid snacks, followed by handing out complimentary snacks and beverages. I love how JetBlue has the most legroom amongst domestic carriers, even with my bag under the seat in front of me. The IFE featured DirecTV enabling me to be connected with the markets while in flight. WiFi was free and worked, albeit a touch slow at times. The cabin was pretty chilly throughout the flight. The lavatories were standard, stocked with soap, paper towels and toilet seat covers. Towards landing in JFK, the cabin crew came by numerous times to collect rubbish while wearing blue disposable gloves. Arrived in JFK 20 minutes ahead of schedule and our plane was at the gate ready to deplane!

    The absolute worst experience. Seated me super far from my husband. Asked to be switched and they said to come back later and ask. We sat close and overheard another customer getting their seats switched so we went up and asked again and a new girl named Billie was there and she rolled her eyes when I asked and said I'd have to pay if I wanted a seat next to my husband. We didn't sleep at all so I did $65 for a "premium" seat that was so small and uncomfortable and they said it's only premium because it's closer to the front of the plane, no extra leg room or anything. I talked with customer service and they were no help at all. I highly recommend any other airline.

On June 1st, I traveled on American Airlines Flight 525 from New York (JFK) to Miami (MIA), departing at approximately 11:15 a.m. After arriving in Miami, I accidentally left my garment bag on the aircraft. This was completely my mistake and not the fault of American Airlines. I filed a lost item report but had not heard anything back, so I returned to the airport early the following morning hoping there might still be a chance to locate it. When I arrived, I met Elizabeth Alonso in Baggage Service at Miami International Airport around 6:00 a.m. and explained my situation. She listened patiently to my story and was honest in telling me that sometimes lost items are found and sometimes they are not. However, instead of simply following the standard process, she decided to go above and beyond. Elizabeth explained that occasionally items are left at the gate rather than making their way through the normal lost-and-found procedure. Although it was not part of her regular responsibilities, she personally went upstairs, through security, and checked the gate area herself. To my surprise and tremendous relief, she found my garment bag. What impressed me most was that Elizabeth didn't have to do any of this. She could have simply referred me back to the lost-and-found process and moved on. Instead, she took ownership of the situation, showed genuine care, and made an extraordinary effort to help a customer. Employees like Elizabeth Alonso are what make a company stand out. Her professionalism, compassion, initiative, and willingness to go the extra mile transformed what could have been a very stressful experience into a positive one. Please extend my sincere thanks to Elizabeth and recognize her for the outstanding service she provided. They offer a fancy, glossy package of business class, but the reality is they don't meet what's advertised. My flight was delayed landing in Dubai, but rather than drive me to my next flight as promised, they decided I wouldn't be able to make it and cancelled my ticket before I even tried. I asked the drivers at the gate if they would kindly take me, and I was denied. I ran 20 minutes across the airport, and arrived on time but was told they had made the decision for me. My baggage was delayed by 2.5 days - they couldn't explain why it wasn't loaded on the next two flights. My meal was also no longer available since they had taken me off the flight. I was also promised reimbursement of expenses upon arrival. I had a large presentation the following day, and none of my expenses for that meeting were covered. I also had a very rude driver getting to the airport. Don't trust the airline, and definitely don't trust their layovers. It's really too bad - I was looking for a new primary airline for business travel, and it certainly won't be Emirates.

The airline took my money but did not deliver the ticket, leaving me to chase customer service for resolution. International travelers should not have to deal with missing payment methods, failed transactions after funds are already collected, and unclear refund processes. If you're booking from the U.S., be very cautious. Make sure you have confirmation before assuming your purchase went through. My experience has been stressful, time-consuming, and financially uncomfortable while waiting for the refund to be processed.

He made sure we had the best experience from the moment we got on the bus by setting up the Bluetooth before we left and making sure the cooler was stocked with ice. He even picked us up a little earlier than scheduled since our event ended ahead of time. Most importantly, he got us to and from our destination safely while making the ride fun and enjoyable.     I recently purchased a plane ticket from Turkish Airlines through Booking.com. According to…read moreBooking.com's policy, I was eligible to cancel my ticket within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund. I canceled the ticket within that 24-hour period because I found a cheaper option elsewhere. However, I have not been refunded for the seat selection fee. Booking.com stated that it is not their responsibility and advised me to contact Turkish Airlines. When I contacted Turkish Airlines, I was informed that seat selection fees are non-refundable. I find this unacceptable because I canceled the ticket within the eligible refund period and never used the flight or the selected seats. According to the U.S. Department of Transportation, if an airline requires payment at the time of reservation, it must allow consumers to cancel the reservation within 24 hours and receive a full refund. This policy is mandatory in the United States. Furthermore, the Department of Transportation states that consumers are entitled to refunds for fees related to ancillary services when the associated flight is canceled or refunded. Ancillary services include optional services such as advance seat selection, baggage fees, Wi-Fi access, meals, and seat upgrades. The seat selection was purchased as part of a reservation that was canceled within the required 24-hour period.

We'd love to fly them again, as the in cabin service and lay down bed comfort is outstanding. The food selections can be a little strange (for our uninspiring tastes), but its interesting, well presented, and quite good. Turkish Airlines back office continues to confound. It's the only airline I know that requires you to enter the 6-digit reservation code AND the e-ticket number (which is harder to find). And when we jumped those hoops this time around, we still couldn't check in. Our travel agent was able to back door us in on the SFO departure leg, and we just showed up in Cairo to check in. Then there's the matter of which Business Class lounge Turkish contracts with at SFO. Even the local Turkish agents didn't know, while the folks at the United Polaris Lounge insisted that it wasn't them. We end up using our Priority Pass card at "The Club" a good walk away as our Plan B. By the way, the Business Class Lounge at the Istanbul Airport is fabulous, while the Egypt Air one we used in Cairo was just OK. I know, 1st world issues....
