The woman I'm dating put me on, and I'm glad she did because my steak bowl was SO good. Everything tasted fresh, the steak was seasoned just right, and all the toppings came together perfectly. I cleaned that bowl up! The place was packed, which usually tells you everything you need to know, but the line kept moving and the staff handled the rush really well. The prices were actually pretty reasonable too, especially for the amount of food you get. And can we talk about the drink machine? I definitely wasn't expecting all the different seltzer options. That was a nice little surprise and gave me something different from the usual soda choices. Safe to say CAVA has earned a new regular. Whenever I'm craving a salad or bowl but still want something filling and full of flavor, this is where I'll be. We don't have many tea rooms in this area. It was great to see another one pop up. It's a new family-owned (mother & daughter) tea room on Moon Avenue near Morgan Street. There's even a private room for group seating. It's all very lovely. My reserved time for Royal Tea was set for 11:00 am on a weekday. It's by reservation only.
