We get Jets Pizza all the time. This is my son's favorite pizza. Everyone in our family likes Jets Pizza. We usually get thin crust cheese pizza for the kids, and deep dish pizzas for the rest of us. Story time. Yes. For a pizza review. We moved to Chicago from Boston during the summer of '24. My son has ARFID. So eating is hard. Pizza is one of the only foods he'll eat. He does eat other things in other settings , but at home pizza is his main meal. He obviously had his place in Boston , so when we had to move we were worried. We narrowed our housing to Hyde Park and in our few visits prior to moving , we tried all the pizza places. Jet's was his favorite. And since we've been here , we've been biweekly customers. Yes. Biweekly. If I checked in every time , I'd have over 100 of them. Husband generally does the pick ups though. Anyway , it's great pizza. While my son only likes cheese pizza, my husband and I will often get our own. Husband prefers Detroit style. I prefer thin crust. We get thin crust when I'm home. When I'm traveling for work, he gets his Detroit style. We get varying toppings but we have 2 go-tos: pepperoni and BBQ chicken. Crust and cheese are overall perfect. We once got the Parmesan garlic crust. That was flavorful. Perhaps they can put a little less BBQ sauce on the BBQ chicken pizza, but thats just me. It just gets all over my dainty hands - ha! My husband has no problem with the sauce and just throws the paper towel roll at me. Their wings are also good. There's so much to choose from here. We had Boston friends over for lunch over the summer and they contend it's better than any Boston pizza. Text ordering is so easy. I appreciate being able to enter a "code" to pay so my husband can just pick up and leave. Service is great. They know my husband very well. Until my son decides he doesn't like pizza anymore, we will continue to be biweekly customers. read more

Decided to finally get takeout from here because I kept receiving their coupons in the mail. I got the vegetarian/veggie Detroit style Pizza. It was definitely on the greasy end, but still delicious. The reason for four stars is definitely the grease. The people at the counter are very nice and the food was ready at the appointed hour. It is a takeout place, so there is no ambience to speak of. Their coupons arrive frequently in the mail, and I will definitely take advantage of them, but I'm not sure if I would pay full price for their pizzas. read more

We ordered Jets for Christmas Eve and their delivery system I'm quite impressed with. We ordered that early afternoon for the evening and they delivered it 15 minutes early. The pizza was good and they have a wide variety of speciality pizzas and different styles. Jets is a great choice for a pizza night. read more

I was interested in participating in their St. Patrick's Day special. They had turned off their online ordering, text order, and the code wasn't working on their third-party delivery services. I called to place the order. The first time I called someone picked up and then immediately hung up the phone. The second time I called someone answered but told me that they were done with the deal for the day. To my understanding, the deal was 4 PM to 8 PM. However, they said that they had stopped the deal for the day before 7 PM. I understand that they must be busy during specials, but making it very hard for the customer to order and then ending the deal with no explanation given is a little off putting. I would love to eat jet pizzas more, I wanted to take opportunity of the deal especially since they're usually a pricer place. read more

22 Oct 2025 ~ 5:13 p.m., walked into Jet's Pizza. No customers. Three - four employees in area directly behind the counter. One was leaving. Walked past me. Pulled something out of the drink cooler and left. The other three kept talking to each other, facing each other with backs to respective walls. No one acknowledged me. I waited a minute. No one looked my way. I left. The employee who left after I entered was outside getting into a car. He looked at me and said, "What happened?" I said, "No one waited on me." He said, "They must have been busy talking." I thought, "No kidding." Thankfully, this area has several pizza spots, all in walking distance. I wanted to try Detroit-style pizza. I'll pass. I enjoyed and highly recommend Pizza Capri's thin crust pizza with extra pepperoni. Tasty. Nice amount of pepperoni. And the person behind the counter took my order immediately. Im.Med.I.Ately. Inconsistent pricing - lunch special (2 slices and a soda) is $7 in Arlington Heights but $10.50 at this location by me. I ordered the same lunch special last month and it was $8.50. I love this place. The staff is so incredibly friendly, and the pizza is delicious. Once they comped an entire pizza because my mom had to wait a few extra minutes when she arrived to pick up and they were missing one ingredient. Perfect place for a quick weekday takeout meal. Small thing, but I also am very appreciative that they wear hair coverings. Not every plaze requires this (cough cough, Bob's, cough) and when they don't you can end up with a nice long surprise in your pizza. The first time I went in here, I was just being lazy. I was really craving some tavern style pizza, but I didn't want to drive as far as I would need to for that. So I came here and got a thin crust pizza. I would've given it one star I think. But for some reason, I came back another time and the kid working told me I had to try the Detroit style because that's their best and what they're known for. It was fantastic! I was an M pretty shocked at how good this little chain pizza is. I expected it to be on par with something like Domino's or Pizza Hut or, God forbid, Little Caesars. I still have a soft spot in my heart for Pizza Hut, and if there was one as close as and convenient as this jets, it might be a tough call sometimes, but given that this Jess is directly on my way home from work I'm going to keep on coming back. read more

I placed an order with the Hyde Park location and it's by far my favorite location. The staff are always super friendly. It's refreshing when you encounter great customer service every single time! The store is very clean and everything is in place. They are always stocked with any beverage you desire. And the pizza is always a hit! I got a medium classic style pizza with mushrooms, pepperoni, and olives. It was solid but I remain unsure of where to get my pizza in hyde park. Also like I didn't get Detroit style which is their thing so take this with a grain of parm. I called in for takeout and it was hot and ready when I got there. After coming to Chicago and making my way through the famous joints like Lou Malnati's, Giordano's, UNO's, and Gino's East, I gave Jet's a try. Detroit style pizzas are square or rectangular shape. Our family preferred Jet's over the other Chicago style pizza places. We ordered the Aloha BBQ and was blown away. By far some of the best pizza we've had in our lives. I was originally impressed with the pizza and the service. Now, not so much. I always order the thin crust vegetarian small pizza. The toppings were cut small, the pizza looked like a jewel crusted pizza. It was great. The price was always $20.66. In just 2 days the price increased $3.00. Also, the mushrooms are now just sliced up and down and very big. I asked about it, some people may like big pieces of mushrooms. They said they would cut them smaller but when I got the pizza home, they were once again huge. They also claimed the pizzas were and had been $23 and some change for over a month.
