I've lived in my neighborhood for a few years and finally made it over to Baccis. I ordered online for pickup because it was a bit busy with a meet and greet happening that afternoon. My daughter had a slice of cheese pizza and I had the pizza puffs and fries. All solid choices! The pizza could have easily feed 2 people as well as the pizza puffs. We actually had leftovers. I definitely will find an opportunity to come back and will try other items on the menu. read more

I arrived here at 6:35pm on a cold Sunday evening to grab some dinner. This location was part of the all inclusive go city pass that I got for my son and and I. One downside is that it is further away from all of the main city attractions. It took about 35 minutes to get there via public transportation. My son got a pepperoni slice and I got a sausage pizza (with added pepperoni) Detroit style. I also got us each a cup of hot coco as it was SO cold. This was about $6 total. The service and hospitality from the staff was GREAT! No complaints at all. My son's slice of pizza was HUGE and I actually got two sliced of my Detroit style pizza, which I wasn't expecting at all. The pizza was delicious, enjoyable, and HOT. I'm not sure how fresh the pizza was as the pizza slices were out on display. But I do know that it was reheated in the oven. They even sliced my sons pizza up, which made it easier to eat versus one huge slice. We didn't get to finish as I got full and we needed to head to the next attraction on our list. Let me start by saying that my Bacci on Chicago ave has closed down. this was the first time that I order from this location on Taylor street. we ordered our food at 11:45, Mind you that I was on the clock. The website said I can pick up my food at 12:15. My order 2 meat lasagna and a sausage panzerotti. I Get there around 12:30 and was told that the lasagna still had about 20 minutes. I get my order 30min later and my panzerotti was not with my order, the gentlemen go's on to ask me is it not in the bag, I told him no so he asked the cook if she had a panzerotti back there and she handed him a big box, hence he new that it wasn't in that little bag, When I arrived to my office with my order, my panzerotti was cold and Canadian bacon not the sausage I ordered. Came to patron a business nearby but they had a 30 minute wait and we were in a hurry. Ventured into Bacci for lunch and was pleasantly surprised by turnaround and quality We opted for lunch special which slice, fries and popfor $11. I ordered Supreme Jumbo Slice and husband got Deep Dish Sausage and Pepperoni. Both enjoyed food and had leftovers for dinner. Fries were hot, salted and yummy. Drink selections were limited but enjoyed my Coke Zero. Area was nice. Plenty of metered parking off Taylor. Bathrooms were clean. Staff friendly and food turnaround was prompt. read more

The pictures of the pizza don't do it justice on how humongous this slices are. Literally the pizza is double the size of your head. I am a big Ester and I've never been able to finish a slice. I usually do the pepperoni slices with parm and red pepper flakes. Very flavorful, cheesey and a nice number of pepperonis. This place is awesome! We've been wanting to try it, and placed an order on their site. Delivery was actually supposed to be fulfilled through Grubhub and there was a technical glitch that cancelled out our order. We were bummed, so I decided just to give the shop a call.....Lucas answered and had an awesome, friendly attitude and was super sweet and attentive, getting our order made and out the door as soon as he and the team could. The food was all warm, fresh, and super delicious. We appreciated that because it's cinco de mayo Friday and I know that area is probably a bit crazy at this time of night, so seriously guys. Overpriced Mediocre at best Pizza!! Based on lack of traffic, I wasn't feeling great about this one. Asked the young lady the type of pizza, her reply "bbq chicken pizza". Got to the table begin to eat only to realize it was chicken sausage, not just chicken. Went back to the counter and asked for a different slice. All slices had sausage so I settled for just the cheese. Like the chicken sausage, the cheese was too crunchy. Precooked pizza which was cooked again when ordered. I had never been to Bacci before, though I had heard they give you this massive slice. I decided to take my son on a date and we came to Bacci. It was quiet, the music was nice, the service was friendly, and the price was reasonable. Nothing like a good old Italian family to send you home with leftovers ! Pizza was never delivered. Restaurant uses Uber Eats for delivery orders. When I called the restaurant, they said they do not have a system to call the Uber driver. Is it possible the driver got hungry? I don't recommend this place for online order for deliveries. They don't have their own delivery people. read more

Waaay back in my undergrad days I had always heard and passed by Baccis which was known for their $5 slice. I never made it in until recently, but their pizza is still ON POINT. Their ginormous slices are now between $6-$7 depending on the kind of slice you get. And they'll cut it up into smaller pieces of you like. That's how big the slices are. Each slice can get cut into a solid 6 smaller pieces (maybe even more). I recently tried the pasta and have to say you can skip it. The Bolognese is more like a Marinara with chopped meatballs, and it was loaded with garlic. It tasted decent, but not what I was expecting. In short: Pizza, YES! Pasta, NO! read more

I am floored! I have of course had their pizza in the past, but I quickly forgot how good it really is. From the buttery crust to the actual pizza ingredients. The manager was kind enough to give me the student discount that was made for a Monday (I came in on a Tuesday), but here I was thinking it was Monday. When I pulled out my school ID the girl said; "I'm sorry that was yesterday" but the Manager heard her and said, "No you can give it to him, he thought it was Monday," I thought this was really thoughtful of him and made the experience even better. It just goes to show that not all places are trying to make a fast buck, they actually have a really good product and are kind at the same time. I can appreciate this for sure. Their slices "use" to fit the box but this time (as we took ours to go), we noticed that the slices were actually just a tad smaller, since it now slides a little bit in the box. Not a big deal because again the slices are giant anyways and you will defintely be filled up with just one, and for under $6 you also get a fountain drink? NICE! read more

Went here for the Sunday lunch promo. Adults roughly $13 and kids under 5 years old free. Soft drinks are extra. 2 choices of pasta: spaghetti or mostacholli, big meatballs, italian sausage, pork neckbones & marinera sauce. Fruits: green & red grapes, cantaloupes, watermelons, and pineapples. Minestrone soup. Salad. Soft brownies and chocolate chip cookies. Food was rather bland. Possibly needs certain herbs for added flavor. Pasta sauce tasted water down even when I added parmesean cheese. I like that there's leftover containers available when customers overfill their plate and have the option to not throw the food away. What turned me off was that I don't like that the soda machine kept being out of order when I bought a cup meant for unlimited drinks. I should've used that money to buy ice cream instead. This place can be a hit or miss and there's no telling when or how. I've been here a couple of times and it seems that their pizzas slices that you can order are pretty consistent and tasty. I've ventured out a bit farther into other items on their menu. I think their pastas can be pretty good (on a randomly good day). The positive is they offer lunch, dinner, and family size options anytime of day. The lunch portion is what I've gone for and it's a great deal. First time I got it, I ordered linguine with bolognese and it was FANTASTIC! Pasta was al dente, meat sauce was flavorful, and most of all it was a generous helping for $5. The rolls are meh but I'm not a bread person as is so I'll leave that for others to comment on. The second time I ordered linguine with alfredo sauce. It was TERRIBLE. Pasta was overcooked in some areas and lumpy and under cooked in others. The alfredo sauce tasted like runny watery cheese. I couldn't even eat it as is and had to modify it with jarred sauce I had stocked at home. Only plus side is the portion they gave me was gigantic so they win on that end. Just need to work on the quality and consistency side.... Also tried the wings with BBQ sauce. The actual wings are quite large as they advertise and taste good but their BBQ sauce was a bit tangy for my taste - I'll order these again in the future but ask for sauce on the side. Downfall was that menu says celery sticks and ranch is included, but they tried to charge me $.75 for ranch and did not include any celery. Fries I could see as being good if ordered fresh in store and consumed on the spot. Not ideal for carry out or delivery unless you like soggy fries. read more

The first time I ordered from Bacci was last year. It's was a catering order for a holiday party at my job. I worked for a nonprofit and specifically mentioned that I had a tax exempt letter. Needless to say, they charged me taxes, the delivery was late, and when I expressed my dissatisfaction,I was told I would be mailed a gift card to compensate me for their mistake. I never received the gift card. I am a person that believes in second chances, so this year for the same holiday party for my job,I decided to give them another try. When I placed my order I mentioned the tax exempt status and this time they took the number over the phone and took off taxes. Then I was charged a 10% gratuity. When I asked for my order to be delivered at 12 noon, I was told that they had a lot of deliveries at that time so it might be a little late. I told them that wouldn't be a problem and that they can deliver at 12:30pm instead. The delivery driver called my phone and said that he was there to deliver my order at 11:20am, which was unacceptable. This was an hour before my event started and meant that the food (pizza) would be cold once guest arrived. The delivery guy said that he would take the order back to the store so that I could have warm food. He returned at 12:30 pm, but the food was still cold. On top of that, one of my pizza orders was wrong and the food wasn't that tasty. So much for 2nd chances. First time shame on you, 2nd time shame on me, if I give them a 3rd chance to waste my money and time......then I'm the dummy! read more

Bacci always delivers! Seriously, the pizza by the slice is incredible and the slices are MASSIVE. You could really eat just one slice and count that as your meal. This particular Bacci has a really nice seating area in the dining room in addition to a few bar-type seats in the main room where you order. We were quickly greeted with a smile by the helpful employee running the front counter. While it is a typical pizza place, the employees all seemed to enjoy their jobs and we could hear them joking around while still efficiently getting the pizzas out quickly. The pizza slices came out hot and ready! We got the meatlovers slice and a stuffed pepperoni slice. I was really impressed that the stuffed slice was heated well and thoroughly. Overall love Bacci and will definitely be back the next time I'm looking for a good, MASSIVE slice of pizza! read more

This is by far the best place to eat, alot of TV's to sit and watch games while we eat our delicious food and Maria even puts on child shows when I take my children. The Sunday buffet is such a brilliant idea. Star the hostess helps with all and anything we may need, very friendly service. The staff there is awesome! And the pizza is delicious as well as their fries. We love the seasoning they use. Everything tastes so authentic and I can't say this enough, I love when the couple Maria and star work together, they get things done in a fast and orderly fashioned way! If something takes longer than expected, they carry great conversations! Thank you baccis for being my all the favorite place to stop and relax after work. And every Sunday to enjoy the buffet. Wow! Bacci Pizzeria Taylor Street has really stepped up their game!!! In my previous review I mentioned the revamping of their menu. Tonight my boyfriend and I noticed an additional change. You know it's been a while when you come in and something seems different, they updated the decor/atmosphere and it looks great! It definitely gives the place a new vibe. Tonight's experience was such a pleasure! As always, the staff really do their best to make sure you leave happy! Living in the area as mentioned in my previous review, it's a nice touch knowing they remember you face and welcome you back with a smile. They always make ordering very easy and do their best to keep up with any special requests. Tonight, the staff reminded me that my last order I went with the Eggplant Over Pasta Dinner - see what I mean about the attention they have when it comes to their customers - they made it easy for me to go with this order for tonight, how could I not! My Boyfriend got a Cheesy Beef and absolutely loved it! Everything was perfect. Tonight's dinner was exactly what we needed, it was nothing short of perfect! Well. It's been over a year and it'll probably be another until I'm foolish enough to return here again. The pizza although decent in quality is just not good enough to put up with the shitty people who work here. The other menu items (as mentioned in other reviews) are to be stayed away from. Burgers are frozen and nobody knows how to cook pasta without making it mush. I get it, this place caters to college kids as you get a lot of food for a reasonable price. What I don't get is the people who you guys hire to work here. Why is it so hard not to smoke near the doors of an establishment, especially when you work there!!! Ahhhhhh!!!!!!!!! Nobody wants to smell this crap, it's disgusting. You shouldnt be allowed to smoke during work hours when you work in food service because the smell sticks to you. Again, just disgusting. Cashiers are still too busy gossiping and ignoring customers. Have a question about a menu item? Too bad, nobody actually knows what's in the food they serve. When the bf told me that there was a place that had pizza slices so big that I wouldn't be able to finish it, I scoffed at the idea. This is me we're talking about here, affectionately named Kirby for the fact that I like to gobble everything up and also described as the Black Widow (a competitive eating champion) by some of my coworkers. I got pwned by a slice of pizza. But I'm okay with that because if I was going to get my butt kicked by one, I don't mind that it's Bacci's (See uploaded picture...you will see why I respect this pizza monster). $5 is a bargain.
