Very good deep-dish pizza, well worth the 20 minute trip to get there from where I live.

I would say Jets Pizza is pretty average, not spectacular but not bad. I prefer their thin crust pizza and I would recommend it if you haven't tried it yet. read more

Ordered a pizza from this place on 12/20 after seeing the delivery guy in our neighborhood a few times. When we called we were told we were outside of their normal delivery area, but they would take our order and deliver to our house. The original order was placed at 6:29 pm and we were told approximately 45 minutes for delivery. I called back at 7:34 pm and was told the driver had already left for delivery. 8:14 pm and still no pizza. Called back and was told again pizza was out for delivery. Pizza arrived at approximately 8:25 almost two hours after we made the order. The pizza was ice cold. I called the store and requested the manager on duty. He acted like he did not believe me when I told him our pizza arrived almost 2 hours late. He had an attitude and asked if we would like another pizza- Uhm no we were starving and didn't want to wait any longer to eat- or if we would like a refund. I politely requested the refund. Went away for Christmas and came back and no credit to bank account. Called store again- think I spoke with same manager. Told me he would look in to the matter and call me back. Well here it is 1/3 and I have no refund from Jets Pizza. The shame is even though the pizza was ice cold, it would have been good if it was warm and arrived earlier. I feel like waiting two hours for food is very unreasonable. We would have given them a second shot had they expressed an interest in us as customers, but I guess we didn't matter. I own a local business and I could never get away with treating my customers like this. Always great quality here at this Detroit style pizza a.k.a. Jets pizza our family particularly prefers their wonderful barbecue chicken round style with turbo crust which is a nice blend of cheeses and spices that are sprinkled on the crust after cooking and also a favorite is their super eight corner pizza where every slice has a corner. That is a semi deep dish style. Excellent value in their antipasti salads. Tasty choice and online shows you all the specials. Great Menu presentation online as well. read more

Oh. My. Goodness. I'm shocked that this pizza got such rave reviews. Our "go to" pizza is: thin crust, mushroom, black olive and diced tomato. That's what we use to gauge how good the pizza place is. Our pizza from Jet's tasted like a cheap, frozen pizza. The sauce was WAY too sweet; there was not much flavor, mushrooms from a jar and mushy tomatoes. For a $16 large, we feel it's a poor choice for a pizza. It's back to Mama Mia's for us! read more

I eat at a Jet's in Howell Michigan once a year and this one just opened right down the road so I gave it a try. It's good too though it seemed the cheese was a bit thin overall. Everything else was fine though and I'll try it again some time. If possible, I'd give it a 3.5 which translates to a 7 of 10, or above average (but not great- yet). read more

In the 80s, pizza chains like Dominos Little Ceasers Pizza etc used higher quality ingredients but over the years got extremely cheap and lowered the quality to keep up with the pricing. That's why it's hard to get good quality Pizza anymore because most chains are money driven over high quality ingredients. Jets reminds me of a high quality Little Ceasers like they were in the 80s. Yes Jets is pricier than the other chains but their ingredients is higher in quality and they use premium mozzarella. Hopefully chains will eliminate nitrates in their pepperoni but I won't take a star from that because everyone uses nitrate pepperoni. Ninety percent of the time Jets are spot on when ordering. Sometimes it's dry but most of the time they are on point. I always reccomded this place to friends and family. I'd put this above the other Pizza chains in Jax. read more

This pizza is by far the best pizza you can get delivered in jacksonville. All the ingredients are fresh, dough made every day fresh, cheese fresh grated every day, vegetables diced fresh every day, if you want more fresh than Jets you would have to go take bites out of a living pizza beast. The ranch dressing here is to die for, and as a butter garlic lover, their BG sauce is amazing and the optional free turbo crust is delicious. The delivery times in this resturant do tend to get a bit long, but the food is always hot when it reaches its destination, which you can't always expect from certain competitors. Jets salads are always fresh and green, the wings are cooked to perfection and slathered in a sauce of your choosing. The cinnamon Stix are a seriously delicious treat after a big meal of grade- A pizza. The subs are always made as fresh as they could be and if you walk in the store you can watch the magic happen right before your eyes. The only bad thing this place has going for it is the lengths people will go to to satisfy their Jets pizza cravings. The Jets bread, oh don't even get me started on the jet bread. It comes in order sizes small and large for the original bread with 2 extra versions called "deep dish bread" and the world famous jaw dropping, puddle of saliva causing, mental obsession causing turbo stix. The jet bread has the fresh mozzarella cheese smothered all over with butter, garlic, and parmesan Romano cheese all over as well. The turbo stix have not only the mozzarella and parm romano, but also a fresh heap of delicious cheddar and the butter garlic mix to top off this cheese lovers fantasy. What's even better is that you can get whatever pizza toppings you want on the bread. What I have listed are only a few of the many many items Jets pizza is willing to give you for a fair price. plus when you call in the employees give you every coupon possible to bring down the total cost of the meal your family will surely beg to have over and over again. Jets is more than just pizza. Jets is like eating what God would prepare as your first meal when you walk through the pearly gates of heaven. 5 out of 5! Hands down the best deep dish in all of jacksonville! No where else will you find fresh made square deep dish dough with all fresh ingredients. This is no little Caesars. If you want a cheap and fast microwaved pizza then jets is not the place for you. My mom ordered delivery two meatball sub sandwiches after she paid for them and the driver left we open the sandwiches and they where ice cold right after she called and complaining jet pizza agreed to replace the sandwiches as long as she was able to return the too cold subs unfortunately my autistic 16 year old twin brothers bit out of the sandwiches my mother called back and told them what happened and Lea the manager that was on duties that night refused to help my mother any further they showed absolutely no sensitivity or understanding toward my mom or the situation they even told my mother at one point that what she was asking them was to give free food away some people are just so ignorant and insensitive I myself could not take away the subs from my brothers I did not want them eating it when I heard the way it sound when they bit from it but to prevent a meltdown I had to let them have their way and eat the food that was ice cold it's myself and four other siblings and we order from them at least once a week at $50 a go but they will not be getting our business anymore especially because my mother had to explain what was autism to them and why the incident even happened in the first place.
