I had a coupon to use, so one night for Friday dinner we ordered two pizzas for pick up. It was easy to call and place the order and let them know I was using a coupon. It was easy to drive to, and plenty of parking in front of the store. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted and helped with my order. I had ordered a medium cheese pizza and a large pepperoni pizza. It was a quick check out, and since I had my son in my arms, one of the employees carried my pizzas out to my car for me, which I thought was extremely nice. The pizzas stayed hot until I came home, and I was able to keep them warm until my family was ready for dinner, as the pizzas had been prepared in twenty minutes. By warming the pizzas, it dried them out a little bit, but they still had flavor and tasted good. It's nice to have a pizza place that is close and reasonable! read more

In what is an already over saturated area for pizza, Julington Creek welcomes yet another pizza place. A quick count makes this 8 within a 2 mile radius but I may have missed one or two so it could be more. Marcos is a chain that got it's start in 1978 in Toledo, Oh. The ratio of national chains to local in the area is about 50-50 so I'm sure the market study showed the population could support another option. It's a small place with seating for maybe 24 so primary business will be delivery and pick up traffic. I used the online system to order a thin half pepperoni, half "old world" pepperoni. Good system overall - my only complaint is that the system didn't provide an option for the way the pizza was sliced. I didn't know the thin would be sliced into squares vs. triangles - maybe that's just the norm. The old world pepperoni are smaller cuts that curl up during baking creating a slightly crispier final product. I actually liked them better than the standard flat pepperoni. Sauce and crust were decent. I've had better but I've also had worse. Wow, while writing this I just realized there are 2 more places so Marcos makes TEN. #Stopthemadness For me it's just another pizza place but I do like the fact that they are open until midnight on weekends. They also deliver so that's cool as well. Probably more of a 3.5 star but the tracker system for when the order would be ready was a little behind. I picked up my pizza within 2 minutes of it being ready (per the tracker) and the temperature of the box felt like it had been sitting for about 10 minutes. For late night cravings, this place would fit the bill but my go to places will always lean towards the local establishments. read more

Delivery used to be fast. Now they dropped their drivers and farm out to door dash. The Marco's App guarantee delivery time is meaningless now. When it gets assigned to a DD driver you get a text message with new delivery time. My two experiences so far is instead of a twenty minute delivery time by Marco's own drivers, we're getting 45 minutes or more. If you are ordering from them be warned to plan accordingly. read more
