This location is under new management and they are fantastic. I order for large groups often for work. They are always polite, professional, great customer service and on-time with great food. I order for multiple locations and have people all over. They are never upset if I have a last minute order or if I have to change addresses. I usually talk to Justin and he's great. We've been visiting this location since it opened and it has been generally pretty good but a little inconsistent at times. However, six months ago new owners took over and it's been a great experience since. The store is cleaner, customer service is top notch and the food is always perfect. A great stay at home pizza if your not in the mood to venture out. My wife and I enjoyed a do-nothing day of doing nothing! Basically its sitting in a recliner and reclining all day and into the night. When dinner time arrived, we decided to order a large 3 topping pizza. The nice thing about Jets is the fact that you can divide toppings without a further charge. We ordered a deep dish, which is a perfect size for 2 grown adults, with some leftovers too! We order from Jets a couple times a month. We love their Deep Dish pizza. Today we ordered at 11am and received our pizza and it was NOT like the normal deep dish. It was flat, dense and over cooked. I called the store and the guy said the order came through and he didn't have time to let the dough finish rising and he had to complete the order. I told him we would have waited, but he just said sorry, he had to get the order out. He never tried to rectify the situation or Offer to make another one. They were running a deal where you text your order and get a discount. So I did. No response, feedback, nothing. I then called. It took a few times before anyone even answered. When they did I explained I had texted and the the deal... and was asked if I paid for mg order yet. I'm not sure how that could have even happened if I sent a text with zero response. Turns out the text option wasn't working so the girl was helpful enough to take my order and honor the texting discount. She gave me a window of time for the pickup and that was that. I showed up for pick up around the time provided which was 15-20 mins. Go in, pay and then wait because my order wasn't ready. I stand there and wait with a few others who had clearly been there longer than me. The way the restaurant is setup you can see the employees and there were two girls in and out of the bathroom together a few times, one I the back making salads, one manning the register and I'm not sure what else when he wasn't doing that, but only ONE actually making pizzas. She was actually asking others for help with cutting, packaging, filling toppings, etc. So after I get there I wait about another 15-20 mins (so around 30-40 total now) and still nothing. Just as I was giving up and going to the register to find out what was going on and cancel my order because this was ridiculous, bam! My 2 large pizzas magically appeared for pickup. I didn't stick around to see if the others waiting were that lucky because literally everyone who was there when i got there was still waiting. I couldn't even tell you how the pizzas were because I wasn't hungry after getting them back home. The family was starved at that point and ate them with no problem, but then again they probably would have rated anything by that time. Oh Jet's Pizza. I read some other reviews and decided I'll give it a go; things change. My kiddos had never had Jets and I'm so disappointed this was their introduction. The cheese..the extra cheese I'd requested was stuck to the top of the box. The pizza itself was lukewarm. The salad was good but it's a salad..I did order Jets wings and my mother liked them. I'm from California and spent the last 5 years in Jersey so I had no idea what Jets was until I moved to Louisville. I had it for lunch during conference one day at work and it was SO GOOD. I had a slice from a deep dish, which is totally the way to go here, and it had plenty of sauce with just the right amount of cheese. I then tried it on my own a few months later and it's been my pizza go-to ever since. I'm one of those people everyone hates who gets pepperoni and pineapple and Jets does it right almost every time. Like I mentioned before, I especially love how much sauce is on it because a lot of places tend to have pizza on the drier side. I recommend getting the deep dish with garlic crust. read more

This has been my third time getting a wildly wrong order. This time not only was my order wrong but it wasn't edible. Regardless if someone actually ordered a cheese-less pizza with just spinach, this should not have been boxed up to give to a customer. My original order was a supreme veggie pizza no cheese (allergies). I get a pizza with barely any sauce, it's thin and dried on the dough, and about 5 pieces of wilted spinach on it. I added the banana peppers in the picture just to try and make it edible since I ordered it to work. I'm sure they would give me a free pizza or something but I don't have the energy to try. I can't speak on their customer service because I haven't contacted them. I just wanted people to know that this particular Jets pizza is known for mess-ups and flat out unacceptable orders. They don't seal the boxes so any delivery driver can breathe on your pizza. Because of COVID-19 it's extremely irresponsible not to seal the boxes. It's a as simple as using household tape. I bought a gluten-free pizza and it caused an allergic reaction. I called to let them know hoping they could be more careful in the future. I was told by the manager that gluten free pizza wasn't a guarantee. The manager went a bit crazy yelling at me for absolutely no reason. During their tirade they made numerous excuses and always stating that it wasn't their fault. They even said it was the DoorDash delivery driver that infected the pizza with gluten. It was a completely absurd conversation. I just wanted to let them know their pizza cause an allergic reaction so they can take the proper precautions. So in the future other people aren't hurt or hospitalized because they eat gluten-free pizza that wasn't properly prepared. Providing products for people with allergies isn't like horseshoes. You can't just get close enough, it needs to be exactly right. Some people will be hospitalized if they eat the smallest amount of gluten. It's not a thing about people being picky or wanting to follow the new health craze. Some people are actually allergic to wheat. read more

3 stars based in comparing to other chain pizza like Lil Caesars, Dominos & Papa John's. I found it to be better than expected. My main complaint would be CANNED MUSHROOMS! That is a pet peeve of mine, so had they used fresh mushrooms they could have landed another star. Crust had a nice balance just enough of crisp to handle the sauce and toppings with out being dry or hard on your teeth. Delivery was prompt and personable. You can have them season your crust, which I requested. A 16" with extra cheese, pepperoni and 1/2 rubbery mushroom easily fed 4 of us. I am normally just a cheese pizza kind of girl, I like to keep it pretty simple but jets has helped me step out of the box a little bit. They buffelo chicken and ranch pizza is pretty tasted, and regardless of the type of pizza their ranch is delish as a dipping sauce. $18 is a little pricey for a small pizza but worth it every now and then. read more

We ordered pizza at approximately 3:00 we finished shopping at target and drove about 6-7 minutes to get to the restaurant, it's currently 3:50 and the pizza is still not done. There are only two people working here both of them were extremely rude. I'm sure they are stressed , but not having a full staff isn't the customers fault that's a management issue. Just posting this so people understand how bad the service was. On the plus side food was hot after about an hour of waiting. Jet's Pizza is true to it's name. Their Pizza is Jet fast and quickly satisfying. I usually do delivery to my house about 5-7 minutes away from the store. The 5+ times I've ordered, I've gotten my food within 20-30 minutes. Which is Insanely good considering I order deep dish style. This is excellent pizza and I am going to miss it. Apparently it is now so difficult to hire employees that simple competency is no longer a requirement. A couple of weeks ago I placed an online order two hours in advance for a pizza delivery by Door Dash. When it did not arrive, I called the store. They found my order but said it had been "lost in the system" and offered to get to work on it right away. I canceled the order. Yesterday I placed an online order through the Jet's app at 2:45 pm for a 5:45 pickup. Got there on time and was told it wasn't ready. At 6:00 I asked for an update and was told they never got the order. When I asked to cancel this order, another employee checked and found that both pizzas were sitting in plain sight and apparently had been there all along. I worked across the street from this Jets Pizza this entire summer. I was always happy with my order and it was always delivered faster than they projected. I know this is a place people recommend for the pizzas with flavored crust(!) however try the meatball sub! The sub was always delicious and goes up as one of the better meatball subs I've had in a fast food genre. This store was clean when I did carry out. Also, when I've called or stopped in, all the employees were extremely friendly and genuinely wanted my order to be done the way I ordered it. I'm not sure how I missed reviewing Jet's as I could've sworn I'd already written one. Silly me. Anyway, I'd had Jet's Pizza before, as they have a franchise in Florence, KY and the few pieces I've had there was enough for me to look up locations in Louisville. Thankfully there is some expansion and they have this location off Hurstbourne, one in Fern Creek and more to come. I wouldn't be surprised to see 5 or so pop-up in the coming year because it's pretty good quality pie. Firstly, the specialty is deep dish, Detroit-style pizza. Expect a thick, thick crust with nice crispy edges and corners, cheese caramelized perfectly along those edges to give it that extra crunch. Jet's doesn't skimp on toppings either, but they don't go overboard so it's a nice balance. The sauce is not overly sweet but nicely spiced, enough so that you notice the red pepper but it's not overpowering. Location-wise this is pretty much strictly take-out, a few tables here and there to satisfy a few dine-ins but definitely not a sit down restaurant. Plan to carry out or have it delivered and you'll have the perfect pizza for the poker game or scrap booking or whatever happens to be your at home gathering. read more

This was the first time we've ordered from Jet's and they did not disappoint. The salad was fresh and the Italian dressing tasted homemade. We got the large pan pizza with garlic crust, meats and veggies. The garlic crust was perfectly cooked, crunchy on the edges, with a mild garlic flavor and prefect topping amounts. This is a review I have been holding off writing for some time because I was hopeful that they would get their act together. I worked / lived in Detroit, MI for almost a year and that is where I fell in love with Jet's Pizza. When they announced plans to open one in Louisville, KY, I was super-excited! We have ordered pizza from the Hurstbourne Lane location on multiple occasions only to be let down over and over again. We have food allergies here and we cannot have tomatoes on any pizza we order. No matter how many times we told them, they would undoubtedly send us pizzas with tomato sauce on them. They would remake the order and send it again but wrong me once, shame on you, wrong me twice... shame on me. It had been almost a year since we last ordered from them but we thought we would give it a try one more time since they started the text to order option. The bonus to that was the 20% off the order if you texted it in. Once again, they let me down. When I sent the text in (with absolutely no instructions on the website, by the way), I ordered 2 pizzas. The confirmation text came back with 6 pizzas. I called the store to get it corrected and they ended up just putting the order in over the phone. Keep in mind, the reason we came back was the 20% off incentive. When I arrived at the store, I asked for the manager so I could show him the issue with the text to order. He was obviously too busy to deal with my text issue because he was very dismissive and visibly frustrated with me calling him over but when I explained to him that the only reason I used the text was the 20% off, he told me that Jet's corporate released the text program before it was ready and he was sorry he couldn't help me. If he would have offered me the 20% off, this would have been the end of it. Needless to say, I am once again disgusted with the service at Jet's. I don't want to say that this is the final time we will try Jet's but They have really got to step up their game. read more

Tried Jets pizza on the merits of the many positive reviews from Yelp. We had the deep dish and all I can is wow! The crust was ever so crunchy on the outside and nice and light inside with a nice buttery flavor. The marinara was sweet but not to much - just right. All of the ingredients tasted fresh and flavorful. I've tried many of the pizza varieties in town and I must say this is some of the best in town. Cozy New York-style street atmosphere. Clean, no frills. Also it must be said that the prices are very reasonable for amount of food we got. I will undoubtedly be coming back to Jets. read more
