Food: Delicious umami ramen that is the most authentic for Denver metro area. You can pick DIY ramen as well which is awesome. Reasonable price. My tonkatsu broth is not too salty & the topping came in good portion as well. Service: I went on Saturday afternoon which is quite busy, but I get a table within 5--10 mins waited time. Good overall service. Ambiance: Japanese theme decor, clean bathroom. I like all the Japanese decor & the wooden spoon utensil made it even more umami. Overall: Will definitely be my go to spot for ramen when I visiting Denver.
What better meal on a cold winter's night than soup, and specifically a rich, hearty ramen. Our group of four each ordered a different kind and several appetizers. First, the pork buns, takoyaki, and karage were all delicious! The edamame had a nice seasoning (honestly it seemed like a Cajun blend of some sort, but that wasn't a bad thing). As for the ramen, we all enjoyed our selection, though I think mine could have had a bit more depth of flavor. The spicier broths won the evening for us.

Delicious. I got the hataka tontaksu. It's Smokey and salty and perfect. Parking in lot behind makes broadway easier to navigate. 10/10 recommend. Fast service too

Great ramen spot with gluten free noodles - best I've ever had! They held their shape and didn't break apart which I have never found until now. My server was also very knowledgeable about what was gluten free and what wasn't. The extra $5 for GF noodles is a little steep but at least they were good. If I lived in Denver I'd be back all the time.
I got to D.Y.I bowl and it was absolutely delicious. The water was ice cold and fun atmosphere. The service was great.
the food was immaculate, the ambiance was inviting and refreshing and the waiter was so very kind and efficient. I recommend this place HIGHLY if you are stopping in Denver. (no pun intended)

The wait staff was nice and service was super quick - though as a note, we were one of the first ones in the restaurant at 5:30pm on a Sunday evening, but by the time we were leaving after 6, the space was almost full. The chasu pork buns were yummy, and everything in the ramen was just right. Tender meat, soup not overly salty, and a good portion for the price.
I thought this was pretty bad ramen. The service and everything was fine. Nothing spectacular. This is kind of a you have to know it's there type place. I was facing the door so I didn't get a feel for the vibe. I had the hankatsu ramen. The broth lacked depth and flavor. The noodles were good but there were almost too many and my biggest problem was with the pork. It was hard, inedible, and a giant chunk that because it was so hard you couldn't not break it up into smaller pieces. Every other place I've had ramen the pork is tender and you can easily break it apart. This place really disappointed.
This restaurant was super fun! They had anime playing in the background, fun music, Christmas lights up, and lots of delicious foods to choose from. Perfect for a cold day to warm up with ramen! They serve traditional ramens from different regions in Japan- Hakata Tonkptsu, Sapporo Miso, Tokyo Shoyu and Nagasaki Seafood. The service is fast and friendly and helped answer any questions you have on different food options and how they are made. The ingredients were fresh and high quality. Parking can be a bit tricky at times on Broadway but it's worth the it!
It was cold out so I decided on ramen for dinner. For starters, I ordered a seaweed salad and edamame. I rounded out my meal with a bowl of piping hot spicy tonkotsu ramen. Service was fast, perhaps a little too quick! The ramen came out just a few minutes after the seaweed salad and edamame were delivered to my table, so I really didn't have much time to enjoy them. I dived into my ramen while it was still hot and by the time I finish my bowl, I was too full for the starters so I packed them to go. The ramen was very tasty, bold in flavor yet not overly salty. The food was hearty and came out quick. The bowls are pretty big so we both left with leftovers. I wouldn't consider the kimchi ramen spicy so I'm excited to go back and try the Godzilla! read more

Craving satisfied! My friend and I wanted to try a new ramen place for lunch. Sukiya (specifically the Godzilla Ramen) was recommended to me, and it was completely empty in the middle of the weekday we visited. There was even spaces in the connected parking lot. Seriously, nothing will make you more paranoid than free parking on Broadway. I got the Spicy Chasu Miso Ramen, which had TWO red peppers on the menu but wasn't spicy at all. Should have asked for extra heat. I heard the same thing about the Godzilla Ramen but still decided to be conservative. Sad panda. The ingredients overall, plus service, were good. And all the anime décor is adorable! Try guessing where all the action figures came from. Anyways, I'd come again but order an extra spicy Godzilla Ramen next time. read more

This is my favorite ramen spot that I've found so far in Denver. My partner is a meat eater and I'm vegetarian so it's nice to find a place that has options for both of us! I had the vegi miso and it was great! The broth is rich and full of flavor which is one thing many ramen spots lack on. I loved all the toppings as well. I wish there was extra egg to make up for no meat, as tofu doesn't have any flavor, but it was delicious and the perfect amount! My partner had the hakata tonkotsu. This is also his favorite ramen spot in the area and he loves the broth and the toppings. He did say the pork could have more flavor, but other than that everything was great. Friendly service, not too many people with a chill ambiance. I had the Pork Gyoza, Curry Tonkotsu and a Sapporo beer. Everything was delicious, the gyoza was soft and the drizzle sauce was sweet, the ramen has a light curry flavor more on the savory side and the katsu is cooked perfectly.Beer is always great but definitely recommend for anyone looking for a hearty meal :3 read more
Ok, since when has Denver become a Ramen powerhouse!? I wasn't notified in advance that I was going to experience one of the most flavorful, expertly executed Ramen ever. That's right, EVER. I've had Ramen from San Fran all the way to NYC ... and when I say that the warmth, bold flavor, and unique combination of ingredients this place packs into their giant soup bowls is extraordinary. Hands down one of the best Ive had. The broth, the noodles, the eggs the pork, the spicy factor. It was all on target. I could've eaten two bowls! Price is great and service is wonderful. I may have to go again before I head back to FL. Also, the pan seared gyoza! Applause for this rendition! Yummy! Better than the usual steamed or fried. Also, no ponzu sauce but I swear they blast it with ponzu flavor so you do not need to deal with messy dipping! Lastly the seaweed salad, another winner. It was a classic approach but they added cucumber slices. Portion is a bit smaller than usual but was fair based on the price. I'd order again. Overall this place has been the highlight of my trip to Denver. Put Ramen on the list when you're in town. read more

i got the hakata tonkotsu and the chicken karaage. the ramen did not have much flavor in my opinion, and sesame oil was the forefront taste in the broth, not the pork. which is odd since tonkotsu broth usually doesnt have such a forward taste of sesame oil. the chicken karaage was average, i liked that it was crispy. i did appreciate that the food came out quickly and the server checked up frequently. i liked the anime playing on the tv as well as the different figurines. it was nicely decorated inside! read more
We got the Takoyaki and chicken karaage. Both were really good, specially the Takoyaki. I got the spicy tonkatsu and asked for extra spicy. The extra spicy was a mistake on my part because I thought spicy would not be spicy enough... I was wrong. The broth is very creamy and flavorful. Service was very quick. read more
Finally got to try out this adorable little ramen spot last night-- and I totally loved it! It's hard to compete with all the awesome Ramen spots here in Denver, but Sukiya knows what they're doing!! I would recommend them to anyone who loves ramen-- including my foodie clan!! I'm surprised that I had not seen a ton of reviews on this place. I hope more people check them out and they can continue to grow and expand across Denver!! read more
Chasu don, curry tonkotsu, salmón poke and spicy miso. 5 stars delivered by that pork belly of the chasu don. We ordered food and we had food to spare for a few more days. Sukiya ramen is quite, smaller and really peaceful. It's cute and the food is honestly delicious. For ramen, a $15 bowl is pricy, but we came here on Valentine's Day and so I was here to splurge. This is my new favorite ramen in Colorado, after some relatively extensive searching. They've expanded to multiple locations with good reason. I just wish they'd expand further northwest now, selfishly. The space itself is great. Not super large, but it feels open and authentic. There are small random decor and trinkets that are fun to visually appreciate, and the overall atmosphere is pleasant, cozy, down-to-earth. Even the ramen came with a proper rustic-feeling wooden spoon. On that note, the reason I drove halfway across Denver was to find good ramen. I tried the Hakata Tonkotsu, and it was mesmerizing. Not perfect, but I can confidently say it's my favorite ramen in Colorado. Surprisingly, its shortcomings are typically a big deal for me. The egg was a bit cold, but flavorful in its own right. The chashu pork was not a very impressive cut, nor was it cooked very well. A bit overdone. But the broth and the overall package offering was easily good enough to make me forget the small complaints. They have a number of other options, but honestly, I'd be hard-pressed to not revisit the same thing. In fact, if it's identical next time around, I'll just have them re-do the egg and pork because if those were sorted, it'd be perfect. I'll be back. The staff were super nice and efficient, so I wouldn't hesitate to ask a favor for the flavor. And please open one closer to Boulder. read more
Delicious little ramen spot on Broadway. Nice selection of tonkotsu and ramen broths. I opted for the Hakata tonkotsu ramen and the broth was so good and hot on a snowy, cold evening. The also had the chashu (pork belly) buns which were so fluffy and flavorful. Definitely would like to go back to try their other ramen choices. read more
Loved coming to Sukiya Ramen! This casual ramen spot was perfect for a weeknight dinner. Their Chasu Buns were AMAZING, I almost ordered seconds! The Spicy Tonkatsu was also delicious but could've used a little more spice in my opinion. Overall a great experience, will definitely be coming back! read more
This is a perfect place to satisfy your ramen cravings! With plenty of ramen options you're sure to find something for everyone. You can also create your own bowl (however this is much pricier than the pre-selected bowls.) The food arrived quickly and service was great. I also ordered some buns that were very delicious. Sadly I am not a ginger fan so I had to ask for no ginger on all of my food (since most of the menu options have ginger on them.) Just keep that in mind if you don't like ginger! Visiting Denver so I'm not a ramen expert of these parts, but decided to stop at Sukiya because its menu looked promising. TL/DR: The ramen is okay/mildly disappointing, but the appetizers are fine, the atmosphere is fun, and the service is good. For the ramen, there were a few issues. First, the shio (salt) ramen broth lacked the advertised (clear) pork broth flavor and the telltale drops of porkfat oil. Rather, it was a lot of salt and some seaweed dashi. I can't say for certain, but there's a decent chance it's been boosted with cartons of premade broth. To support this possibility, my friends' tonkotsu broth were similarly thin and low on pork flavor. Second, the thin slices of pork belly chashu was inconsistent. One side would be pretty tasty, yet the other side would be grilled to the consistency of bacon, which was not appealing. Third, the bowl contained toppings such as corn and pickled red ginger (beni shoga) that might be associated with ramen or Japanese cuisine, but amounted to Japanese culinary cosplay. Corn is often in miso ramen, but in shio ramen it's simply too sweet and overwhelms the subtle flavor of the shio broth. Beni shoga is a palate cleanser that one often sees in heavy, oily yakisoba and donburi, but is not necessary in ramen and rather overwhelms each bite. The disappointing ramen was a shame, since Sukiya is quite good in other areas. Even within the ramen itself, I liked some of the topppings and the noodles had decent bite...though I believe they use the same noodle for all their bowls, which is not recommended. The karaage, though fried for too long, at least used thigh meat and was decent. Décor and atmosphere was terrific, with plenty of Japanese anime figurines about and Japanese televeision commercials playing in the background. Service from our server was excellent too, with helpful and honest recommendations of what to order. Sukiya is a fun location with some decent food options. The ramen falls short of its claim of "Authentic Japanese Ramen," but it will do in a pinch. I just hope they will consider making a few changes to up their game even more. read more

Yummy yummy vegetarian ramen PLUS gyoza! I love when places have veggie options for gyoza because it's my absolute favorite. I was super full after this meal. This was our first time at this place. Walking in our first impressions were good. They had a good amount of anime related figures on the bar. Lots of seating 9 tables plus a long bar. The server was really friendly. The menu is pretty good size too. We got the pork gyoza which was delicious I could eat a dozen of them. And the beef ramen and Tokyo shoyu both hit the spot. In total we paid about $50 with tip. We'll definitely be back. read more
