Food here was great. Service was phenomenal. Ada was our server and was super fast and attentive. She did great. Came on a Sunday night and there was no wait. They have a projector fish tank on the walls which is super unique and cool to watch. We ordered Takoyaki to start and then 3 rolls. Select beer was buy one get one. Also their house hot sake was buy one get one. Takoyaki was delicious and same with all 3 rolls. We had an Alaskan roll, Ruby roll and spider roll. All 3 very good, spider roll was our favorite. Tried Jett recently, went back to verify my impression. This place is a hidden gem! David and Four are extremely knowledgeable and professional servers. The food is fresh, the chef is terrific, and the pricing is very reasonable. The yellowtail collar is a standout, but every one of the six items we tried was refined and delicious. I went here with my friends. It was on a Monday evening. Time was about 18:50hrs ish. My friends opt one of the Rolls which I forgot the name of it. They also order the Udon, Dumplings and we shared Crab Ragoon as appetizers. One of my friend, he opt for a beer as part of his beverages. When this Dumpling dish comes to our table, we cannot differentiate which is which hence I cannot eat any of those NOT knowing, if they are vegetarian or what. *SIGH* I ordered the followings items : * Whole Squid ($9) * Unagi Nigiri ($5) * Tomago Nigiri ($4) * Hotategai Scallop Nigiri ($6) * Ama Ebi Nigiri ($7) For the Whole Squid, its plated with some kind of side pickled salad and kimchi. Call your order in. If you go over 35 you get free item and if you go over 75 the free item gets better. Cleanliness: the restaurant is clean can neat. Decor: there is a cool project onto the walls that is like moving art. Food: the sushi and sashimi are good. I love that you can change from white rice to brown. At little healthier option as it takes longer for your body to break down and spike your blood sugar. I also like their chicken teriyaki. Service: their staff could not be more friendly. They are all so nice. I have been here more times then I can count. Hehe. Price: depending on what you get the price can be reasonable or if your like me and get a bunch of sashimi lol. Fantastic food. Reasonable prices. I dropped in on a Friday afternoon on my way to an event at the SIE Film Center (less than 5 min away). I had one of those deal site deals, so it wasn't good for happy hour pricing, but I did notice that they had a pretty fantastic happy hour including buck-a-piece sushi. They had a few bottles of Sake that were similar in price, but did not have any description about them. I asked the server and she wasn't able to describe them to me, but she did point out on the label that the difference had something to do with the filtration/clarity. So, I just randomly picked one and it did not disappoint. But, if I could give this place a tip, it would be to add descriptions of the different sakes to the menu. I got the Thai Basil Seafood and it was divine! It had scallops and shrimp and lightly breaded white fish and an entire lobster tail. Check out my photo. It was a delicious dish and the price of $16 was completely reasonable for the volume and quality of food. I was duly impressed. This place has an off-street parking lot that they share with a couple of neighboring businesses. There were several open spots and not having to hunt for parking was wonderful. We are in love with Jett Sushi! We get delivery from there all the time but dining in is the most incredible experience I've ever had at a sushi restaurant. Our server named Four went above and beyond and continually thanked us for coming in and supporting Jett. He was so attentive and personable. The fish is ALWAYS so fresh and the rolls are made with very generous portions. Very creative and delicious rolls that I have not seen anywhere else. We especially love the 007 roll, the Ruby Roll, and Yellowtail jalapeño, and Kobe Beef roll. On top of the incredible taste and variety of fish, the presentation is what really sets this place apart from the rest! All of our rolls were beautifully plated on a large wooden ship complete with lights, fog made from dry ice, and a gorgeous ice sculpture to top it off. I've never seen anything like it! YEEEES! Finally! A sushi joint within walking distance. Here's the bonus: It Freakin' Rocks! And it's not just sushi. It's Asian vittles at it's finest. This whole month (or so I believe) of May they are doing a $1 dollar beer or hot sake promotion. Not just on the first round either. A couple can go stuff themselves AND tie one on for around $20 bucks each. First time in we mixed it up between sashimi and Pad Thai - both were very good. The noodle dishes are generous portions for around $8 bucks a plate - plenty for two to split if there are appetizers (salads, soups, etc) involved. Jett has been circling the culinary airport for a while now. It was once a decent option for sushi, ramen and Chinese food, but it needs to land in a hurry and find a decent mechanic. They have changed the menu to radically limit the selection and predictably raised the prices. However, that is not what bothered us on the last visit. We question the freshness of the fish and the rolls themselves were inexpertly made. I am unimpressed by over-the-top presentation. Frankly, I think many sub-par Japanese restaurants use gimmicks to fool the naïve into believing they are getting an expensive, quality product. Bubbling dry ice and ridiculous ornaments do not compensate. The service was slow but in light of current labor shortages, I am willing to overlook that aspect. Used to live in the area a while back and hadn't been over here or at Jett in sometime to even know it had been renovated, but what a pleasant surprise! Stopped in with a friend who had been in with the re-opening of Jett who raved about it. I liked it so much I came back two other times with different friends, and each time the food was great and the service was so wonderful. The management took the time to come around and seemed very genuinely concerned about wanting feedback and getting to know customers. Brussel Sprouts on a menu means I have to try it, and it was an impressive starter option, in addition to the Poke nachos and Spicy Edamame which is REALLY good. This business apparently changed ownership since my last review and have since tried them, again, several times. The sushi has never been outstanding but in a pinch it sufficed. The ramen is tasteless and has zero attributes to any ramen I've ever eaten. Most recently, the biggest fail of all is the completely incompetent man who answers the phone. There is not the language barrier you'd think and regardless, if there was, why this person answering the phone and taking orders? By incompetent I mean he had never heard of gluten free noodles, There was a very long discussion as to what they were. He said yes, they had them. What did I get? Spaghetti noodles! This last time I ordered the sashimi combo and asked if they could please give me two pieces of mackerel in the combo. He had no idea what I was asking and I clarified AT LEAST 6 times and he verified that yes, mackerel actually comes with this. I told him it never had before, had they changed the menu? He seemed frustrated at my attempts to clarify the order to ensure it was correct and continued to reassure me that of course, it comes with this combo. When I got my order, no mackerel. Also no sushi but rather nigiri. I immediately called, told him I was missing the (very belabored discussed) mackerel as well as the sushi but had nigiri which is NOT what the menu says. He insisted that the mackerel was there and said that nigiri WAS sushi! He said mackerel is tuna. I said mackerel as in saba you're calling tuna? He said yes, that was tuna and hung up on me. How is it that the front man at a sushi restaurant (regardless of of awful the actual sushi is) doesn't know sushi? NEVER, never, NEVER again. This place is a joke. I also had given a 30% tip. Sometimes it's fun to read reviews after going yourself and thinking: holy cow, that's how I felt. Diva wrote about the service and I can't agree more. It was poor, the place was empty, and we still had to keep trying to flag him down. Worst, in my opinion, was the lack of attention. On two specific occasions we told him exactly what we needed and he failed twice. The one time was separating veggie from meat dumplings and it resulted in our friend not being able to share with us. Speaking of dumplings, I'd be stretching to say they were even mediocre. Didn't care for them. We ordered the udon soup which I thought was good but I've had better. Every piece, from the white tuna sashimi appetizer, the steamed pork buns, to the various rolls and sushi pieces were mind blowing melding of flavors. Thoughtfully prepared and artfully displayed, wowza! Unbelievably, they even have real wasabi to top off some of their rolls! I wish all wasabi was the real deal! Food: 4 Customer service: 1 I just moved to the neighborhood and was excited to live near a reasonably priced, highly rated sushi joint. I ordered the yellowtail collar, steamed veggies, and a salmon avocado roll for takeout via Jett's website, which is managed by a third party called BeyondMenu. During the ordering process, I checked a box to receive text updates, so I assumed I would receive an update when my order was ready for pickup. About 50 minutes later and with no word, I called the restaurant, and the young woman who answered said I had called to update the order from takeout to delivery. Um, NO, I had not. She asked for my address, which I gave her, and which she said did not match the address the previous caller had given her. She said she would contact the delivery driver and call me back. I received a call back from who I presume is the manager or owner, who immediately accused me of changing my mind twice, complaining that her driver was very busy. Which did I want, takeout or delivery? I assured her I did not make the original call, but she did not believe me. I tried to courteously explain that I had not made the call to change the order to delivery, yet she was VERY rude and accusatory. I explained probably about six times that I had not made the call to change the order from takeout to delivery. Thankfully when I called to check in on the order, it had not yet been delivered, and the driver was able to reroute and deliver to my address. When I received the order, the address written on the receipt was one I am not familiar with. Either the restaurant's third-party system has been hacked, or the restaurant staff confused my order with someone else's when they received that first call. (I tried theorizing this to the manager, but she would not hear me.) The sushi was delicious, the steamed veggies were yummy and a good portion (more than I was expecting), and the yellowtail collar was good but a little dry. I was pleased with the food. The driver and the young woman who answered my call were very nice. If I order from Jett again, I will not do so via their website. Yet I do not wish to speak with that rude woman again, so I'm not sure if I'll order again. What a shame. read more

First of all: they were miniature- which makes the price absolutely ridiculous. But, more importantly, the were EXTREMELY greasy. As in: there was a visible film covering the rolls. I was looking specifically for a good sushi place tonight that wouldn't cost an arm and a leg. Thanks to Yelp, I found Jett Asian Kitchen. The atmosphere was much nicer than I had anticipated based on it's location on Colfax. Happy hour is from 3-6 pm every day, including Sundays. We got several rolls for $3 each (Boston, Philadelphia, and Alaska) as well as individual pieces for $1 each. Plus 2-for-1 hot saki. Not a bad happy hour. We also tried several of their signature spicy rolls. The Volcano and The Fire Roll were amazing. Both had spicy tuna, and Jett was able to accommodate a gluten-free version of these two signature rolls. The plating by the sushi chef was beautiful. You can tell that he/she took pride in making unique arrangements of sushi rolls. They did get a little busy with delivery orders, so our first plate of rolls took a while to arrive. Once the first one came out, though, the rest followed at a reasonable pace. My only criticism would be that the nigiri-style tuna did not look as fresh I would have preferred. The yellowtail, however, was great. Oh, and we had to double-up on some of our orders that had spicy tuna because I was not initially told that it contains tempura batter, even though I had asked specifically for gluten-free soy sauce with my food. But the sushi chef was able to make gluten-free spicy tuna, so I was happy. read more

The restaurant was located on E Colfax Avenue just east of Colorado Blvd. They have a private parking lot shared with 2 other merchants which was nice. My husband ordered the Basil Fried Rice with chicken ($8). It came with soup and a fried egg roll. The Hot and Sour soup was served hot. The rice was a heaping portion with plenty of sliced jalapenos. I ordered the Chicken Massaman Curry Thai Hot. It was not very spicy. There were large tender slices of white meat chicken, tomato, snow peas, asparagus, potatoes, and red onion. It also came with soup and a fried egg roll. The 2 pieces of wonton in the soup were firm. There was letttuce and scallions in the clear broth. The fried egg roll was the standard Chinese vegetarian egg roll. It was not served with any sweet and sour sauce or mustard or anything. It was served hot, but it was bland. I also ordered a Salmon Skin Roll and a Philadelphia Roll. The server told me that they were out of salmon skin, so I ordered an Eel Avocado Roll. The rice was so mushy that I could only eat one piece from each roll. My husband ate 2 pieces from each roll. I sent the sushi back. I've never sent sushi back before, but this was bad! I asked if they had another batch of rice. The server asked if brown rice would be okay. The server brought new rolls with brown rice. They were much better. Their prices for basic rolls were $4-7, which was very reasonable. Their Happy Hour prices were even better. We will not be back. read more

Nothing to say but: Wow! I was searching for a place with Asian noodle dishes but then could not resist ordering sushi. Right from the app! Order came with a free extra California roll. I picked a basic avocado roll, philly, and the ugly roll with avocado, cucumber, jalapeño and tuna/avocado on top. Also crab/avocado appetizer salad.
