I contracted with this electrical contractor to perform the full electrical scope of the new construction of my single-family residential home. My experience with them was a disaster! It couldn't have been any worse. At first, when John was trying to sell me their services, he made his company sound very professional. However, this couldn't be any farther than the truth. In reality, his business is a sham that preys on individuals such as myself. Once he has locked you in, by signing the contract and paying the first deposit, then you see who this guy truly is. After signing the contract with us, he immediately started dumping all of the work on me. He claimed that since his price was low, I was the one who had to deal with the City and handle all of the communications. I reached out to the City to get temporary power so that he could perform his construction. As I was coordinating this, JGA mobilized and got set up on my jobsite even though framing was not even complete yet. Generally, electrical work does not start until after all framing has been completed. Throughout this time, they lagged in communication, and would not let me know what they were doing or why. They performed no work other than setting up some tools and materials. Unbeknownst to myself, the temp power that DWP had brought was the wrong type. JGA informed me, and, as I attempted to get the correct version brought out, John started complaining, even though, in reality, I was the one doing the work that I had paid him to do. He offered to correct the problem with the City for $300, which I gladly said that I would pay as soon as he resolved it. However, the next day, I saw his crew demobilizing the jobsite to take his stuff away and disappear without any notice. When we tried preventing this, since we had already paid him, and I did not want him to run off with my money, he called the police. However, he was able to take everything and disappear without any work, calling me a sick woman and leaving me to look for another electrician. He said he would not return my money and would not complete the work. What disappoints me even more than his failure and his scamming of my money was the timing of this whole fiasco. His irresponsibleness happened at exactly the worst timing, creating delays in my house schedule, which are now going to cost me a lot of money. Now that we had to wait months for framing to be completed and we are ready for the work to begin, we must wait months more to find a new electrician and coordinate everything. I highly advise that you do not use them for any work. read more

Jonathan & his assistant installed a ceiling fan in our upstairs, extremely hot, San Fernando Valley, APARTMENT!!! There was no power outlet or light fixture for it be connected to. They skillfully made it happen and we are delighted! They TOTALLY could have charged us WAY more for what they did. They exceeded all our expectations and went above and beyond our check list for: Punctuality = They were on time! Professionalism = They conducted himself/respect & integrity. It was just my toddler and I who were home when the job had to be done and we felt safe and at ease. I sat on installing my EVSE (electric car charger) for over a year. It's not a simple process, installing the chargers. You've got to get the electrician quotes, the permits from the city, So Cal Edison to approve it...the city to inspect it... and the cost! I had one electrician tell me it could be $4000 to install, and that we'd have to run a line from the electrical box in my BEDROOM, through the wall of the condo building, into the garage, and then into my spot. Insanity. Needless to say, I wasn't chomping at the bit to get it installed. But, after over a year of charging at public garages, I'd had enough. Jonathon and his team came THE DAY I called. They happened to be nearby. Coincidentally, he had already installed another charger in my building, and that guy had recommended Jonathon to me, but I lost the card! By the end of the day, I had a very, very reasonable, clear quote from him. I accepted his offer that day. He started pulling the city permits and communicated with me throughout, via text and calls. They installed by the next week, arriving on time and with no complications. The city inspected the install within a few days (arranged by him) and they gave it the greenlight. Now, I'm just waiting for SCE to install the meter. In the meantime, I've got a charger and my life is so much less complicated!
