Large breakfast portion at a reasonable price. This was my first visit, and I was pleasantly surprised. The place is very clean. I ordered the Veggie Lover Spinach, mushrooms, tomatoes, peppers, onions, omelette with home fries, and rye toast. The omelette was so full of veggies that I could only eat half of it. The home fries are sliced, fresh, new potatoes, something you just don't see everywhere. I ended up taking home half of the omelette and all of the home fries. Another hidden gem. We come to this shopping center often but never knew JGoody was there. We stopped in for breakfast and we're surprised from moment we walked in. It was large with a sizable dessert case and was pristinely spotless. Before we even get to the food let's start with the amazing service and welcoming staff, they were awesome. Our waitress was Lynda and she perfect. I had the waffle with whipped cream, eggs and bacon. The waffle was so light and great flavor, the eggs fluffy and bacon crispy. My wife really enjoyed her southwest omelette with home fries. She was especially shocked at how good their coffee was. Good hidden gem. The waitress' service was top notch, felt at home there. Seems like a family business. Well rounded clientele- on a weekday morning there was a couple businessmen, a younger couple, an older couple. My omelette was amazing, will get again next time. My wife's Belgian waffle wasn't that great--think the batter was too thick, which is why I downgraded it a bit. But I still really enjoyed this place. read more

We were one of two couples dining at the time. It was a last minute breakfast/brunch stop. Although the food quality was mostly fair, it was served cold. As I mentioned it wasn't busy at the time, but our server did not return to us to refill our waters or really check on us at all. Overall the place is a pass for me. WOW. Hidden gem. Very modern, clean atmosphere. They have a great breakfast, lunch, café style menu. The ingredients and the food is fresh and created by someone who knows what they are doing. Pairing flavors with some surprises and the end result is wonderful filling and delicious food! My wife had the house burger with ham, pesto, poached egg, tomato, white onion. Sounds a little different -- and it was, in the best way! Messy but fantastic. I had the chicken crepes, stuffed with cheese, peppers, mushrooms, and topped with bechamel. We got 4 desserts on the way out (for later... there were so many that we had to try more than one!) and might have also tasted some of the chocolates, too. Wife says "real chocolates; fantastic! Flavors really pop.". To top it off -- the service here is A+. Young staff--which sometimes means "teenage attitude"--but not here! Staff was all super attentive and polite and knowledgeable. I ordered an egg and cheese croissant and a classic two egg breakfast. Food was made to order and came out steaming out. Everything tasted as expected, nothing to write home about though. Second time dining at this new-ish place in Oldsmar. Both experiences were outstanding. Yesterday, we got a veggie omelette and the veggie Benedict. Potatoes & grits were delicious as were both egg dishes. I had the cafe mocha and I loved it. The first time we ate here, we looked at the desserts but didn't try one. We didn't make that mistake again! We took home a key lime pie, pineapple turnover cake, and a brownie. I'm so glad that we did as they were sublime. Staff is always efficient and super friendly and the decor made me temporarily forget that it used to be a sushi place. Support local businesses and help this deserving place flourish! read more

We have been twice for breakfast and ordered lunch the other day. Have not been particularly impressed with those items on offer for breakfast, but very much enjoyed my hamburger, and my husband, the chicken sandwich. The wait staff is always pleasant as is the ambience. You need to wait very long for your entrée and with coupons, the price is always right, compared to any place else in the neighborhood. I Was Hoping for More I love a good bakery. Unfortunately, they didn't have what I usually enjoy: a cinnamon roll, an almond croissant, a scone... They did have typical breakfasts. The eggs were eggs, the ham was only OK and the coffee was pretty good. The side of fruit was quite nice with a good mix. I was disappointed by the French toast--something I really like. It was completely soggy in the middle and I could only eat the edges. Yuck. Unfortunately, I really can't see any reason to return. read more

Husband got the chicken crepe and macaroni salad, all of which was perfection. We tried their chocolates (did we not mention they are also chocolatiers?!?) which we mouthwatering. The place is meticulously clean. The menu is comprehensive. Nice touches like fresh flowers on the table. If you don't like grits, this is the place to try them. They know what they're doing. It's obvious that the grits are prepared with milk or heavy cream versus water. They are so good. Bacon is good, thin and crispy. The veggie omelette was basic but obviously fresh. The exotic crêpe was out of this world. French toast was very good. Service was fine. My only issue was the owners need to invest in Wi-Fi. It's not expensive and the free trial that they use to advertise Wi-Fi only lasts 30 minutes. It's a café, they need Wi-Fi. Otherwise I would have given them 5 stars.
