Went in today during my lunch break for a quick oil change. Whenever I choose Jiffy Lube, I never really know what I'm going to get. Some locations are ok, others are pretty darn slow. I hit this location today, at around 1pm and was on the road in less than a half hour! It wasn't very busy, but I was very pleased with the service. They didn't push on the up-selling, of course they asked, but I liked that there wasn't the high pressure there normally is. The two techs were very pleasant, and the manager was very friendly and kind. They did a good job cleaning the windows/vacuuming as well! This location is a good 8 miles from work, but I chose it because they had the best reviews of all the Jiffy Lubes in a 10 mile radius. I will be defintely be coming back to this location! Great job. These guys were very professional. They could tell from the moment I got there I just wanted to be in and out, not a lot of upgrades. They made their suggestions selectively, and I was out in about 20-25 minutes. Being a girl and going by myself it can always be stressful when they try and confuse you and sell you stuff. I asked to be shown my airfilter prior to changing it (to ensure it's condition), the Assist. Manager agreed. After about 15 minutes my car was moved out of the bay and I was prompted to review the bill to take care of the charges. I was a little bummed my request to see the air filter wasn't remembered and asked to see the filter they changed out. My conversation in negotiating the services made me suspect of their business practices on this day. The Assist. Manager pulled out the engine air filter from the trash. I've changed out serveral myself in the past and have seen dirty filters. I've had other services recommend not changing out the air filter at times because it wasn't needed. What the Assist. Manager didn't know, I had changed out the airfilter about 5000 miles prior. This time, the filter didn't need to be changed. With my van outside of the bay, I asked them to put my used filter back in and wasn't going to pay for the new one they installed. He obliged but felt like I was being manipulated. I've experienced good service and know what it looks like, being in a service industry myself. People will forget what you tell them and show them. In the service industry as competive as it is, customers remember 100% how you make them feel. I didn't feel like a valued customer. I felt like they wanted to upsell me and they were doing what was best for their numbers, rather than what was best for me, the customer. It may have been just a rough day for them but unfortunately, it has colored my view of their shop. If they are willing to do this for a $25 filter, what else would they compromise on my vehicle. I will drive a little further and pay a little more, for a service organization that values my needs. read more

I came into the location at 12th St/Northern in Phoenix on Sunday July 8th, at 1:10 PM. I asked about time/cost for an AC recharge for a 2007 Focus. The service rep told me "about $105" and "about" an hour. That all seemed very reasonable. I checked into Facebook a few minutes after I went into the waiting room. I am a reasonable man, "about" an hour is a little flexible. However, when they hadn't touched my car by 2:30, I started asking a few more questions. Again he said he should be able to get to it in "about" 20 minutes. At 2:50, I asked again, and this clearly irritated the same person. I asked him why he had so grossly underestimated the time; had he just been honest, I wouldn't have wasted his time, nor mine. I am on a short schedule today, but there is NO occasion when I would be willing to simply double the wait time I was told, so that the clerk could give a more favorable estimate, regardless of fact. The local franchisee posts information in the waiting room, and since it is Sunday, there was no way to contact them, but I will forward this message, and reach out to them as well. I spent an hour and a half in a stuffy waiting room for absolutely nothing. There are too many businesses out there willing to take a consumer's money, to put up with one so grossly misleading, then insolent to boot. In short, the guy was a d*ck. read more

In January, I was told the wait was 30 minutes but ended up there for two hours. The supervisor said I need a new battery for my car because it was at 15%. I had AAA check my battery and turns out I had 60% left. I'm sure they just wanted me to buy a battery through them. I returned last week. They told me that my car had two oil leaks and that my brakes needed to be replaced. I took my car to my regular mechanic. He did not find any leaks and told me that my brakes have an estimated 3 years left. I haven't had any issues with the oil changes, tire rotations, etc. here. However, I will never trust them when it comes to their recommended repairs. They have been wrong every time. read more

When your posted hours say you're open until 5:30 and a customer shows up at 5:06, you should be willing to help them, regardless if there are cars ahead. SLOW SLOW SLOW. We waited almost 45 minutes for them to change the oil in two cars that were in progress before we ever arrived. Then it was another 30 minutes to change our oil. No "jiffiness" here. Always try to up sell you unnecessary services and products using fear tactics. We won't be back. read more

The only reason I can even give this location 1 star is because the gentleman who greeted me stopped rotating tires to do so. He had a ponytail, wore a hat, and was very welcoming. After walking me to the waiting room, he assured me someone would be with me soon and returned to his rotation work. Not 5 minutes later, another team member with short spiked hair entered and announced a Honda Accord was ready. He was confused as to which one. The woman already waiting asked if all the work she requested was complete. He listed the incorrect work and just walked away after she corrected him. I said that I had an Accord but had just sat down. He said my car was ready. I said that was impossible. He just repeated himself and left. No one had even reviewed the diagnostics with me so that I could confirm the service. I looked at the screen and my car wasn't even listed. It was in the same place in front of the bay. Nothing visible had changed, dirty windows and no paper mats on the floor. I said nothing appeared to be done. He just looked at me, said there was no charge for his fluid check, and that he had just clocked in, really odd. I said that I needed coolant and oil, and he said I didn't and walked away. It was like an SNL episode, ludicrous and horrible at the same time. I was in shock at the horrid service, or lack there of, and blatant disregard. The other team members were under the bay floors, working, so I just left, shocked, disgusted, and angry. I have always received excellent customer service at Jiffylube, but this visit was atrocious. read more

Worst experience ever! First time getting oil change NOT by the dealer. "Apparently", the dealer overtightened the oil plug, so supposedly when the Jiffy technician unscrewed the plug, the threads on the pan came off with the bolt. Now I'm stuck getting a new, oversized plug in order to re-thread and fill the oil pan hole. The Manager took no responsibility and only blamed the Toyota dealer for over tightening the last service. They should've replaced the oil pan and not bandaid the situation. They only suggested that if I go to Toyota dealer, maybe they'd replace the pan due to "their" supposed mistake! Ha! In addition to this, trying to up-sell me and wanting to rotate my tires that were just replaced LAST week, I will not be back! read more

I've been a Jiffy Lube customer (in California) for as long as I can remember but never have I had a more positive experience. I came in for a routine oil change on my 2001 Camry sporting 205, 656 miles. I was greeted by the Assistant Manager, Paul. I let him know I needed an oil change and also asked if they could replace the battery terminal clamp as it was corroded, he said "sure." Well, much to our dismay this proved to be a more daunting task than either of us had anticipated. Needless to say he came up with a great solution that totally worked and despite the time he spent on my car, he stuck to the original estimate right down to the penny, knowing I was on a budget. He advised of me a few things that needed to be addressed but wasn't pushy in his sales approach, which I greatly appreciated.It is because of his care and excellent customer service that I will continue to have my car serviced here. read more

My car was overheating while I was on my way to class and I was looking for a place to pull over and I happened to be driving by this Jiffy Lube. I pulled over to ask for help and not only did Keith immediately come over to service my car, he diagnosed other reasons why my car may have been overheating. I was able to make it to the class on time and was able to resume my day happily as planned, all thanks to Keith!! I hate liars and incompetent management. I brought my car in to replace a headlight bulb. I called at 4:00 yesterday and confirmed that they had it in stock. One car was in the bay when I got here and another arrived just ahead of me. they said, "we will get to your car as soon as we get this gentleman checked in". Literally 36 minutes later, they tell me they don't have the part (not that they had one but used it earlier today) but will have it in 20 minutes, and it only takes a minute to install. So, clearly they lied when they said they had the part, failed to even check my car for 35 minutes to see what part was needed (when they said they would do it immediately) and didn't really apologize for either flub. It took 68 minutes to do what they told me was a 1-minute bulb change. Never again. read more

Yesterday I visited this location to decide I will never return. I have gotten my oil changed with you since i purchased my car in 1996 because of the service. As a woman who knows cars, engines, etc. I have decided that this location is out to get us "women". The visit before yesterday (last time I got oil changed) I was told I needed a new serpentine belt, and that "I shouldn't even drive home on it". I got to my home and showed my mechanic, it was only a month old. He agreed that I did not need one, it was practically brand new. Yesterday, I asked for the High Mil. oil as I have always used, the manager was very short in his tone as he said "you know it's $67." I said "yes I do know that", and asked to use the coupon, he said they cannot pull up in the computer. Even though the last time they did pull it up in the computer. I asked to leave the car and return in a little while, I gave the information and they said "when we get under the hood we will call you to let you know what we find", I said that I do not want an air filter. He said again "we will call to let you know what else we find." With that I said "nevermind". I felt like I was being screwed over. I went in there to get an oil change, not get my car checked or repaired. I will now tell every woman I know to avoid JIFFY Lube. By the way, I got my oil changed at the competitors and it was only $33 bucks vs. $67. I would think Jiffy Lube would care more about their business. read more
