They say "satisfaction guarantee" but this is far far from that. This garage did faulty work, told me I was lying about it and then would not refund my money. So I'm out $76 Several days after I went here for an oil change, i took the same car to a full garage for other issues that needed to be addressed. They said the oil filter was leaking all over and wanted to charge me for a new oil change and clean up of the oil, as they could not work on the car if oil was going to be leaking all over the place. They sent a picture of the leak and indeed oil was all over. I felt I really had no choice. Canceling service in the middle of a service appointment (and a half hour drive away) at the garage i like and trust to bring it back to these people and then go back is dumb. So I called this store and spoke to the tech who was there when I had the service done. She said I had to talk to the store manager. This guy then told me the garage was lying and I was lying and trying to get a free oil change. He acknowledged that occasionally a filter is faulty also in this conversation, but the only option he gave me was to bring the car back for another oil change. I said I can't it's being fixed right now at the other garage (half an hour away) and instead I'd like my money back. He said I have to talk to the regional manager. I call this guy and he basically blows me off and says he'll get back to me. 2 weeks go by and I call him 2 more times - waste of time. I filed a credit card dispute and somehow these guys fought it and won. So no $76 for me. I used to really like Jiffy lube (i usually went to the south golden one which I always had good service at) but these stores are owned by the same franchisee so i will be going elsewhere going forward. They'll be losing a lot more than $76. I had my kids and friends going there too. Not anymore! read more

I requested an oil change on my vehicle, they were the last place to change my oil. They mentioned that my oil filter housing canister was seized, and that I NEEDED to replace my whole oil unit. Part itself would have been 200$, plus manual labor on top of that. I told them to put my filter back on, I'd take care of it myself. I went and bought an oil wrench filter socket for 13$. I had to use a breaker bar, but the filter came off with relative ease. They attempted to upcharge me over 200$ when a little bit of elbow grease and a tool was all it needed. I took my car in for a routine oil change at this jiffy lube as I have done many times before. This team stripped/cross threaded my oil pan plug and are taking no responsibility for their actions. They will not help pay for my tow bill or mechanic bill even though they are the only shop I take my car to. I was never given a warning about a loose plug, just told my car was broken. I recommend going anywhere but jiffy lube. Neither this location nor the one in Lakewood off Wadsworth and Jewel gave me a warning about my plug. My son took his car in there for an oil change. He always takes his car to jiffy lube. It's the only place he has gone since getting his car. They drained the oil and then told him his oil pan plug was stripped. Jiffy lube is the only place his car has been. We had to have his car towed to a shop and are waiting for it to be fixed. They just keep saying it's a wearable item! They are the ones who didn't thread the plug on correctly! He could not drive it because there was no oil in it. I believe Jiffy Lube is responsible for this and they should pay to have it fixed. I have had my oil changed at this location before and was very pleased with both the service and employees. However; today, I stopped and was told they could have me out in 15 minutes so I said Ok I'd stay. Then they had me move so someone else could go ahead of me since they were there first but in a different lane. Had no problem with that. Was told the line I was now in had a car that was just about finished. A girl came out and I simply asked how much longer she thought it would be (so I could decide either to stay or come back) and she went off on a tirade of how this is first come first serve and that someone said I was upset that I was asked to change lanes (NOT..actually was going to offer to let that person in ahead of me). I told her I didn't appreciate her attitude and all I was asking was for a time frame to make a decision about staying. She got more rude and then another employee jumped in as well. I would not take my car here ever again as they were disrespectful, rude liars. These were NOT the same employees that I had dealt with months before so perhaps they've changed their employee base but they now are horrible. Just for an oil change it's great. The Groupon offer is awesome. It's not 5 stars because the kid vacuuming the car was really a dirt ball. I gave him a 10 dollar tip to vacuum my car really good because I have a German Shepherd. Well long story short he took my money, did a shitty job and when I said hey man I gave you 10 bucks to get my car clean. With a attitude, his sagging pants, I get, I f****** did the best I could. 10 bucks to vacuum a car, I would have had that car looking brand new. read more

Avoid this place like the plague.. I used this location 3 times over a year period and Every time there was an issue.. Today takes the cake. I bring my car in and they state they "can't change the oil cause the last time it was in(but we don't have a record of us doing it, luckily I do) we messed up the filter and we can't get it off." ServIce person just looked at me blankly and said I can take it too another location 15min away after I spent an hour at this location. Place is a joke for customer service and avoid at all cost cause they will mess up your car!!! Took car too a competitor and they state they never seen a filter this dirty and it was really hard too get it off cause someone over tightened it.. looks like I've been running the SAME filter for the last couple oil changes.. if you want horrid customer service while at the same time paying too much and having them mess up your car then this is the place for you!! *This did not happen to me PERSONALLY, but happened to my mother in law this morning* My mother in law resides in Canon City, has a Volkswagen Passat as a lease. She chooses to take it to Jiffy Lube when she comes up to visit us in Arvada/Denver, where she has always had it serviced. She had taken her car into the Jiffy Lube at 7331 Sheridan Blvd. She paid for a Signature Service for $102. This includes an oil change, changing the oil filter, and replace windshield wiper fluid, along with resetting the computer in the car showing an oil change was in fact done. When she picked her car up, it was already turned on, and she drove over to get gas. Upon turning her car back on, she noticed her wiper fluid light and oil light were both on. By this time, she was closer to the Jiffy Lube on 64th Ave. She decided to go into this location and have them take a look at her car. The manager got her right in, and a technician met her at her car. After inspecting the car, she was told an oil change had in fact been done, but it was LOW. Her wiper fluid was not refilled at all, and the computer in her car was not reset to show an oil change had been completed. The Jiffy Lube at 64th Ave topped off her oil, filled up her windshield wiper fluid, and reset the computer for her AT NO ADDITIONAL COST. My mother in law is adamant she will not return to the Jiffy Lube at 7331 Sheridan Blvd, but instead to this location on 64th. Kudos to this shop for helping her out!! 11/10 would recommend! read more

I'll never go to Jiffy Lube again. They somehow forgot to finish the job before starting my car, spraying oil all over the engine and under the hood. They attempted to pressure wash it, but my car has been smoking ever since as it burns off the coating of oil, getting pulled in through my A/C, and making the car smell like burning oil inside and out. I can only hope that the oil will eventually burn off completely and that breathing in these fumes is not giving me cancer at an accelerated rate. read more

Like many others ratings and comments, I really wish I would have seen them prior to coming to this location for service. I called at 12:30 for a brake replacement, was quoted a 1 hour turnaround, once I confirmed the service, the one hour turned into 4 hours, which ultimately turned into 6.5 hours and resulted in me needing to take a Lyft back home, ruined several plans I had for the day, and left me waiting in their lobby for over 2 hours until they released my car at 7pm right when they closed. As I was walking towards my car I noticed the hood on the right side was still open a crack so when we popped the hood we saw it was because a plastic cap they had taken off during the repairs had not been put back. All of the staff avoid you and one of them when I asked for an update simply left and never came back. Close to some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced and a perfect example of a group of employees that could care less about customer service. read more

I was duped into believing actual work was getting done considering I was waiting for 2 hours. The cashier calls me up, charges me, then tells me they couldn't finish the job cause they didn't have all the proper tools. Wait...what?! So many questions here! First of all, what were you all doing for those 2 hours? Why would you take on a job that you don't have the proper tools for? Why did you charge me full price for an oil change if it isn't complete? And why is my car now leaking?????? I ended up having to take it to a REAL place with REAL tools. DO NOT do business here! I have done business for a about a year here. We have 3 vehicles serviced here oil changes etc. we recently had oil changed on one are vehicles and immediately following oil change I could smell burning oil after I left. I went back the very next day and I was told it's just residue from service. After three more days of smelling burning oil and a cloud around my car I went back. The technician looked over my car and told me that they tightened up the oil filter and that should fix it. Same story. Kept smoking! Went back again and asked them to look at it again and fix the problem. I was told that's all they can do. Went to one of their competitors and they actually took the time to show me that the rubber O-ring on the filter was kinked and wasn't sealed. He charged me $10 for a new oil filter and has been trouble free since. Jiffy Lube will never see any of my money again. Terrible customer service!!!!! read more

Lots of emails about how Jiffy Lube is handling safety during the coronavirus scare. Among other things they offer you the option of staying in your car while they do the work, which is good. However, when I pulled up to the building the person on duty came over to the car and leaned in, without a mask, to take my order. When she came back after checking the price and started to lean in again I had to ask her to stand back if she insisted on not wearing a mask. At the end I had to handle her pen to sign the charge slip. I should have known better than to return to this place. The last time the mechanic told me that synthetic was the recommended oil for myt car. I naively accepted that and paid the upcharge. When I got home and checked online I found that the manufacturer does not recommend synthetic. OK to use it but not necessary. read more

This Jiffy Lube on 64th in West Arvada has always had a bad reputation. They supposedly came under new management about a year ago, so I decided to give them another try. Well, that was a bad idea. The power went out just as they put my car up on the lift to change the oil and transmission fluid. I left to run some errands hoping that it would be restored by the time I returned. Unfortunately, it didn't and worse yet, the manager (Fidel) lied to me and told me that they finished everything. Well, the power was still off, so that was not possible. I got my car back with the maintenance code still activated, the oil life reading 10%, and the promise that they would finish it tomorrow. However, later that day Fidel calls me demanding that I pay for the services that he still claims were performed. I declined, and he used my previous credit card info to charge my card $300 without my authorization. Obviously, I'm disputing the charges and will never return to that place. Stay as far away from this Jiffy Lube as you can! read more

Had my oil changed at this location a couple of months ago. When I went in for the oil change they stated that I had to use full synthetic oil for my truck. I looked up the Ram/Mopar spec for my vehicle while standing there and showed them it wasn't true. They performed the oil change and informed me that they would not warranty the work. Fast forward to this weekend and I was helping a family member move when they informed me that I had an oil leak and dropped on the drive way. After a little investigation, I saw some oil drips on the bottom of the oil filter. Took it to another company to have it looked at. The manager asked me to come out in the bay to witness him removing the oil filter. It was not tightened. He was easily able to spin it off with one finger. That wasn't the real surprise. When he pulled it off, there was a dinosaur drawn in marker on the side of the oil filter!!!! I am not sure if this was a remark regarding my choice of conventional oil or what. Funny that they told me they wouldn't warranty their work when I had the oil changed and then to find this!!! Feels like a bit of sabotage to me! Do not take your vehicle here if you value it at all! I could have very easily killed an engine thanks to this kind of workmanship! read more

I have been taking three Ford Escapes for years to this station for oil changes. Yesterday was the first time that they charged for a skid plate removal for $10.00. That charge was not on any of the previous oil change services performed on the same vehicle. AI also, agreed to top off the anti-freeze reservoir for $7.99. They charged an additional $5.57 for extended life antifreeze. I am guessing less than 8 oz total was used. I used a $20 off coupon and they recovered most all of it in additional up charges to cancel the discount. I guess it's back to Grease Money where they disclose all fees upfront and we can banter back and forth about if they are worth it. read more

After spending 1 hour wait for an oil change, I proceeded to use a 15% coupon I received from a local school football fundraiser. Something about it being a fleet-only coupon when clearly it is for general customer use. The cashier didn't know how to apply the coupon and didn't offer any other discount. I took my 2012 Town & Country into this shop to do the basic oil & filter change, I purchased this service at this specific shop 3 times since I bought the car, on the third time they advised me that I needed to sign an acknowledgment before I could take the car that my oil plug was stripped and would drip oil until it was fixed. I should have raised hell as this jiffy lube was the only shop that ever touched the oil drain plug since I bought the car. Sure enough I had a small amount of oil dripping on the floor of my garage and have had to check it often to make sure it did not run low. Tomorrow I will change the oil and install a 14mm thread insert in an attempt to correct the problem that Jiffy lube caused, hope it goes well... Its a simple Job, but it can be screwed up if you do not hire good talent to perform the work. read more

Last time for me-- Arvada Jiffy Lube 15230 W. 64th Ave. I received an email saying $22.00 off Full synthetic oil change for $67.99 total charge, until June 30, 2018. I attempted to give the attendant my digital coupon (3) three. different times. He said will take care of it at the end. All finished and the attendant said I'll check with your coupon. He says that will be $22.00 off. He says 85 dollars and some change. I said, "the coupon showed $67.00 plus shop charge. He said that we normally charge $105.00 for full synthetic and he gave me the $22.00 off. Then it made sense for them not to take the coupon prior to the oil change because I would have walked out knowing they were going to charge more than their coupon price. Don't get scammed. Demand to pay for the service before they do the work. At least you know what your going to be charged. read more

They BLEW UP the engine of my Hummer H2 when they installed the wrong oil filter. Their claims department refuses to pay for the repairs at the shop of my choice even though the general manager acknowledges that it was their mistake. The extent of the damage isn't in dispute; the problem is they won't pay the labor cost preferring to pay less. They insist on only paying what they feel the "average repair shop" would charge. Here is what Kody Schirner (801-725-1711), Claims Department Representative, Customerservice@gflcompanies.com, wrote to me this morning: that amount will cover the cost of the engine and the labor at the average repair shop. If you choose to have the repairs done at a repair shop that will charge more than that, then you must pay for that luxury." It has been 22 days since they blew my engine. They have also refused to provide a replacement vehicle. I've been forced to forward this matter to our attorney, file a complaint with the Attorney General's office, and I will likely have to pay for the engine replacement out of my pocket and proceed through the courts. We took our Mazda here a couple of months ago for an oil change. This location put the cheap wiper fluid, loaded with likely water, in our car. This is Colorado. It gets cold. There have been numerous times when the wiper fluid has frozen leading to very dangerous driving experience on major highways. How is this okay to put customers in these situations? There are many more reputable places in Arvada who to not skimp on fluid, and that is where we will be taking our car from here on out. Went back to this location today.. The guys here were really nice..like they always have been..I had noticed they were running an awesome Groupon so I decided to purchase and revisit. Hands down these guys were great. They never made me feel " hassled " or "less than" after I mentioned I had already purchased the oil change through Groupon! I noticed their sign promoting wiper blades which reminded me about the passenger side blade. These guys made sure i was taken care of, and displayed a very pleasant level of professionalism. They removed a perfectly good air filter which is their standard practice, to try to up sell filters you do not need. When I protested and wanted the filter put back, we were unable to ascertain which side was clean and which was the dirty side for reinstallation, as the filter was marked up on both sides from handling with greasy hands. I did not want to blow dirt into my intake, by reinstalling used filter backwards, I was forced to pay $30 for them to replace the filter they messed with and could not put back. This place is owned by shoddy criminals who are absent owners living in UT. A Manager named Tyler did address my concern, he too could not tell which side of the filter was dirty, RATHER THAN ADMIT THEIR FRAUDULENT PRACTICES HE GAVE ME 15% off a replacement filter that is 80% cheaper at Walmart. Rip off do Not go here, I now can see why they are the lowest rated Jiffy Lube in the area. This review was written during the visit. The Manager did remove the cost of the air filter from the final bill. While in the parking lot I just checked and they did do right by putting in a new filter. I still feel icky from the whole taking advantage of people, and feel sorry for "the little old lades " who get cheated into buying filters they do not need at triple the cost of an auto parts store. read more
