First of all I have to say fantastic customer service! I have a small oil leak in my truck and overfilled to compensate, realized I added way too much and found these guys to be closest to me. Pulled up around 4:30 on a Friday and Christian and Caelen got straight to work to remedy the situation. Took them 5-10 minutes and they got me back up and running and on my way. I just got an oil change from there today and I called ahead of time to ask how long it would take and they said it was about 15 to 20 minutes. So I rushed over there thinking that it would take about 30 minutes and I should have plenty of time. Well they greeted me with a smile and escorted me to the waiting area. It was super fast, maybe 15 minutes if not less. They did a great job and that is truly the best experience I've ever had at a jiffy lube. Great service and fast! So this review is a little late as I visited this location back in November/December of last year. Anywho I had just moved back from Los Angeles and decided to come in during my lunch as our baby was definitely in need of some TLC from such a long drive. Not only were they fast and friendly but the manager went above and beyond. He had a feeling to check the battery and good thing he did... it was on its last bit of juice and could croak at any moment! OMG I forgot to mention we were having trouble with it back in LA... talk about sweet synchronicity! No worries they swapped it out for the best battery they sold and even applied a discount. So super sweet! If you want fast, friendly and thorough service for your vehicle this is the place to come! If I could give this place 0 stars I would. First, I purchased synthetic oil for my oil change and they came out with some old big plastic container with about 15 quarts of oil in it and poured it in my car. When I asked what brand of oil it was and where it came from the guy said he couldnt tell me. Then, another technician walked around and showed me some type of A/C filter. He described the filter as "dirty and had all types of rat droppings in there" as if I had a rat problem in my car? I asked to see where he pulled the A/C filter from in my car and he couldn't point it out!!! He had used a fake filter to try and sell me a new one. I am 100% positive that it was fake because it is NOT easy to extract the A/C filter, it takes a lot of time unscrewing parts out of the dash and I was there no more than a few minutes before he showed me "my dirty filter" - I later got home and replaced the filter myself only to realize it was a completely different shape and size than what he had showed me, and mine did not even need to be replaced. This place is scamming people and it needs to be recognized. DO NOT GO HERE read more

I always treated jiffy lube as one of the last auto shops to go. About 5 years ago my car needed an oil change and I did not want to go too far. So I gave them a try. They changed the oil. But they also charged me $5 for cleaning the battery terminals. After I drove home, I found the battery terminals were dusty. Nobody ever touched them. There are videos online showing that jiffy lube did not perform the service and still charged customers. It happened to me too. Shame on you jiffy lube. Rot in hell with my $5 in your pocket. read more

Came in worried before work because I had a couple lights I had never seen light up. Lee helped me out and was so so nice and didn't even complain that I wasn't getting my oil changed or any service. The guys checked out my car, let me know that I had some sensor not working which caused the light to come on, fixed it, and sent me on my way in 20 minutes. Again, never had a Jiffy employee as nice and friendly as Lee. Go see them! read more

I've been here twice -the first time experienced what other reviewers have mentioned as being grossly overcharged for an oil change, but chalked that up to me not pushing back as much as I should have. I dropped by again this week for a routine state inspection, which according to their website and Google Maps they offer. I tried to call ahead of time, to double check, but there was no answer after trying several times. When I arrived, the gentlemen was very quick to explain they do not do state inspections and pointed me in the direction of the nearest car shop that did, which I appreciate, but I still drove a bit out of the way based on an outdated website, annoying! Also, the place was completely empty when I drove up, zero other customers, so I don't understand why they couldn't have answered the phone. read more

Long story short: I have to spend a lot of money replacing my oil pan because Jiffy Lube stripped its threads. And they won't pay for it. About a year ago I went there and they said my oil pan threads had been stripped by the previous Jiffy Lube job up on Parmer. Bee Caves said they had to put in this temporary plug, go up and have Parmer fix it right. I go up there, they say no problem, we'll fix it with this longer threaded plug. I'm happy, until almost a year later I try to change my own oil and see a temporary plug still there! So I go to Parmer and ask where is the long plug that should have fixed it? They say go to Bee Caves. So I get the runaround, nobody will fix a very damaged oil pan, and I've left three messages with the district manager Mike Chegwidden (512-731-4625) who will not return my calls. My car is clearly screwed up by one Jiffy Lube or the other and they point the fingers at the other and give me the runaround! I'll go to my mechanic from now on, once he fixes the Jiffy Lube damage, probably $1,000 later. I would not recommend Jiffy Lube. read more

This used to be a great business and love the neighborhood. Now when I go there, the customer service from the leaderships is below zero, and they act like you are a nuisance for even stopping by. And, boy do they upcharge. Over $100 for an oil change? Really? I must look really stupid. But I'm not so went elsewhere. First of all, you are wrong, I don't have to use synthetic oil and I just confirmed it looking at my manual. Second, who charges over $100 for a synthetic oil change anyway? My oil change should cost around $40, I use conventional oil, and I found a more trustworthy Jiffy Lube in town for this good price. I had enough of the rude service! read more

After the warranty on my car expired, I began taking it to Jiffy Lube since it's a fast, efficient, friendly and less costly process than returning to the dealership. I'd never experienced a problem or felt anything was being pushed on me and that all suggested services were necessary to maintain tiptop condition which is why I'm there in the first place. Their record and my receipts always jived. The last time I was there, tires were rotated and it was several days before noticing the center cap was missing from one of the wheels. The dealership quoted a $300.00 replacement charge! I had no proof, of course, that it had not been put back on or improperly done only to fall off during that time although it was total logic. I spoke with Louis, the manager, and he couldn't have been nicer to work with. Within a matter of days, the cover was replaced... issue resolved! Yes, I'm a fan of Jiffy Lube! read more

Everyone that works here is so friendly and helpful! My car basically exploded (not really, I just don't know how to explain what's wrong with it because to be honest I'm still not sure) and they helped me figure out how to get my car towed and even offered for me to leave my car here over night if need be since one of the guys was opening the next day. I know NOTHING about cars and they were super helpful/patient. Definitely recommend anyone to go here to get their car serviced. read more

This place was so helpful! I had a light come on in my car for my tire pressure and pulled up and they helped me right on the spot and didn't charge a thing. Even the assistant manager came out to make sure all of my tires were at the right PSI before I drove away. It is so nice to find people out there willing to lend a helping hand and not expect a thing. I think I may have found my new oil change home as well! read more

Will never go there again. Worst customer service. Called to make appointment and described coupon. Got there and showed coupon to first guy. Inside showed coupon to second guy and put in info to computer. When paying, last guy says we do not take this coupon. (Their own coupon) Total bait and switch. It was the assistant manager. I've been to several Jiffy Lubes around Austin and this was by far the worst. My Toyota Camry '10 uses Full Synthetic oil which doesn't require as many frequent changes as other oils, probably every 6 months or more. Had my car oil changed in April and visited this Jiffy Lube in August (four months time in between). There was a scraping sound that came suddenly from the bottom of my car while I was on the road. Since I was in the area, came to this location to diagnose the problem. Turned out to be a loose skid plate which they propped back in place at no charge but then one of their employees began pressuring me about an oil change, with a condescending tone that was suggestive of "How can you not know that you need to change your oil right now?" Ignorant as I was then about my car's oil requirements, I hesitated telling him I didn't even think I had the money but agreed since he made it seem I absolutely needed it. On top of that, at checkout, he tacked on a $3 donation/coupon book that I did not ask for, and without my knowledge. So by all means, use this location if you'd like to be stolen from and pressured into purchasing services you don't need. Also noticed they attend to customers differently based on appearances so ladies, wear your revealing attire, or men your suits if you'd like special treatment. read more

I just went to try to get an oil change from here and wasn't able to. They're hours say they open at 9am so I showed up at 9:30 figuring to beat the rush. When I got there all the doors were closed and there was just one employee there who informed me that he was just the mechanic and did not have the keys to the cash register system so he couldn't open till his manager got there. He said he'd been trying to call him but hadn't gotten an answer. It's very disappointing to have made a wasted trip. read more

Second of all, I had a bottle of cologne that my mother gave me before she died in my center console, it's been there for a year and two months now. I first went here to get an oil change and they couldn't do it because they were out of filters. That's like a gas station being out of gas, but I gave them another chance the next week. I informed them that I had what might be an oil leak and asked them to try to diagnose and fix it. You would think an oil change venue could tell if a leak was oil, right? Rather than figuring out that it was, indeed, oil, they shrugged their shoulders, went ahead and changed my oil for aboit $100, and then told me to get the leak fixed at my dealer. The next day my dealer informed me that it was obvious that it was an oil leak within a few minutes, and that Jiffy Lube should have known it was oil AND that the dealer would have to drain the brand new oil to solve the problem, which they did. They also said that the off brand part installed by Jiffy Lube during my last oil change was likely the cause of the leak in the first place. I was livid, so I called Jiffy Lube and asked for a refund. They said the manager was off but would definitely call me the next day. It is now many days later and still no call. The numerous low Yelp ratings show that many others are quite displeased with this racket. I'm an attorney, and my son, a Harvard Law School graduate, is a specialist in class action lawsuits. Hmmm...maybe that would get the manager's and owner's attention. I deserve a refund. I very strongly recommend that you go elsewhere. I will get my oil changed at my dealer's from now on. It's less than $20 more and would have avoided the total waste of time and $100. read more
