I would give 10 stars! Starting with the greeting immediately when I drove in all the way to the care and concern for my issue to sending me off feeling safe this was a fabulous experience. I was in Austin from out of town, and I had a problem created by a different oil change Business that could have been disastrous, and these guys took great care of me, eased my concern, told me what they were gonna do, and wouldn't let me pay them for fixing a problem someone else created. I was fully expecting and prepared to pay them. They deserved to be paid. I was blown away. I wish I lived close because I would never go anywhere but this Jiffy Lube! A home run for sure! read more

Fast, polite/friendly, didn't give me the hard sell on additional services, didn't make any mistakes with the oil change. For an express oil change place, that's all I want. Like most express oil change places, availability of state inspections on a given day is unpredictable. I had a great experience at this store, everyone was very friendly and made sure everything about my car was checked. They scanned a coupon so I saved a little bit of money. I went totally the JL on West Anderson Lane for an inspection. They did not have an inspector, but sent me to the Guadalupe location because he told me that the manager was the inspector and would take care of me. So I drove to the Guadalupe vacation and the manager told me that stopped 15 mins ago. I told him I was sent specifically to him because he'd take care of me. Nope, not a concern on his face. Too busy putting stuff in his vehicle. I will never go to this or any other Jiffy Lube. He is not an asset to your company. read more

There is nothing "Jiffy" about this place. I've spent 5 or 6 hrs there trying to get an inspection. I failed, repaired car and went back 3 times and waited an hour or more and no one could help me or give me 5 minutes to check my car and get me done. The bays are clogged up with repairs for hours at a time. No way to get in and out in a Jiffy at all. read more

Instead of attempting to extract every last cent, they helped quickly solve the problem when a competitor just down the street (who has higher Yelp ratings) tried to take me for a ride. I handle most things with my car on my own and will continue to. But I will be back for vehicle inspection as honesty is hard to find. read more

I sat in line for 35 minutes and was moved around bay lines 2-3 times by not nice workers. I left

Jiffy Lube on E. Riverside put 10 quarts of Oil in my car and the wrong oil filter. I had to pull over and found the filter can was not put on correctly and the noise was the filter. I called Jiffy Lube and the Manager came to the loca. Manager said it was not the right filter and that, it had flooded the car spark plugs and the engine was damaged due yo the wrong filter and 10 quarts of oil they put in the car. I called Jiffy Lube immediately and told them i had to pull over and park the car. When I parked the car I told them when I stopped and parked the car oil was on the and the filter dropped to the ground. I took photos of the oil on the ground and the filter. The Manager went with 2 others to the location I had to stop and park the car. The car was not drivable again. When I called the Manager asked if I could drive it back or tow it in and they would pay the tolI. asked him to call the tolll road. He said he would come and look at the car. Jiffy Lube has not taken responsibility for fixing my car and have damaged the motor and my car is still waiting at a storage yard of thr mechanic. read more

I have been coming to this location for years. Service is a speedy and thorough. Although what they do is service has dropped off like I never get out of the car and they don't wash the windows anymore. They used to vacuum it out too but they haven't done that for some time. I'd be nice to get back to the precovid days when we get out of the car and they can attend all these details the price hasn't changed. read more

I've had to clean up after these fools twice now. Both times they drastically overfilled the engine with oil. The first one was caught relatively quickly, but still caused valve cover gasket failure. The second was on an engine that fills the bay more, making it much harder to see what's going on. The vehicle also has a lot of oil-catching capacity in the underbody panels, unfortunately. Because it was driven like this for months, the alternator failed. Once it was removed, the evidence was clear. It looked like a lump of greasy coal with a pulley on one end! It lives just under the drip point of the failed valve cover gasket. There's no telling the true extent of the damage, but every seal on the engine was significantly over stressed by the overfill and we're considering trading it in to avoid future drama. Their price may be low, but their skill level is apparently even lower. read more

I am officially done with Jiffy Lube in this town! I pulled in today, and the guy acted like it was so much work that he had to come and greet me and he didn't give me an estimated wait time. They all just look so miserable at this location. So I went to blocks down the street to Midas, who got me right in, and instead of charging me over $90 for a full synthetic oil change, they only charge me $38.99. There used to be a guy named Allen S. who worked at this Jiffy Lube location who was very friendly and helpful every time I went in, but for some reason he is no longer there, so I am not going back to this place ever again. read more

My tires were in desperate need of air. This was on the weekend before the big freeze and I couldn't find any place open. Thankfully, I stumbled upon this Jiffy Lube! Although all bays were full, I was quickly greeted and attended to shortly thereafter. They gave me complimentary air and wouldn't so much as accept a tip, despite working in temperatures in the teens. I was genuinely touched by how kind and helpful they were when everyone was already frantically fending for themselves, stocking up on groceries etc. This short and simple interaction spoke volumes about this location and its management. I've been coming to this Jiffy Lube for maintenance (inspection, oil changes, etc.) for about eight years and I've never had a bad experience. Even though they don't provide all services (they won't check brakes, for example) they have something that is even more valuable to me: my trust. I don't know a lot about cars so it's very important to me to have someone taking care of my car that I think is doing what's right and not just trying to profit. The employees here are very nice and knowledgeable and always spend time educating me. They are always transparent about cost. Prior to the pandemic, they could be slow if you went at a busy time but they are across the street from a starbucks and a park. During the pandemic, they service everyone in their vehicles so it has been even quicker and safer. When there was a service they were not able to provide, they gave me an honest and good recommendation for a nearby business. Even though I don't live in this neighborhood anymore, I still go to this Jiffy Lube because I know I can trust them with my car. read more

This place is a disaster. We took our there for an oil change and within 3 blocks the car died while driving it. After a long day of waiting for a tow truck, it eventually got to the dealership. They checked it and said there was debris in the air intake. Took the paperwork to Jiffy lube. At first they apologized, said they would refund the oil change. Then they got the General Manager. He said because the dealership paperwork said they checked the spark plugs it wasn't their fault. Again, the car died within minutes and 3 blocks of the jiffy lube. The car died while it was driving. This jiffy lube fiasco cost us $250. The car is fine now. I would highly recommend avoiding this place. read more

Not sure if all Jiffy Lubes are like this, but everyone here was super friendly, professional, and had a contagious positive energy. I was greeted quickly and given an estimated wait time of 45 minutes. I didn't time it, but I don't think it actually took that long. I should have had the oil changed months ago, but didn't. I was expecting to get a small lecture on changing it more frequently, but instead they simply said they'd get me taken car of asap. I love that the whole team seemed like they were having fun while working. They were efficient as they worked on several vehicles at the same time, but it all appeared seamless. My wife and I just spent an hour waiting to register our car with the county. When we finally got our number called we found out that the inspection report from this Jiffy Lube was invalid because both the VIN and the license plate were notated incorrectly. So I went all the way back to Jiffy Lube to correct and the guy tells me "it can't be wrong, we scan it." Well he proceeds to scan it again only to find that his scanner doesn't work and has to jot it down by hand, which explains how they got it wrong in the first place. This is all in addition to them forgetting to give us the report when the inspection was originally done. If you get your car inspected here, double check everything as they're obviously not being very careful about the details. read more

Avoid at all cost. We have a vehicle that is not drivable. We had to cancel our Christmas vacation when it was taken there for a quick oil change so we could. We have an Eco Diesel, and they documented our vehicle as a turbo diesel. Not even the same on any level. They told us switching to conventional oil was fine, but per the manufacturer only synthetic should be used in the eco diesel. They dropped the oil out before telling us they didn't have synthetic and had to go buy it. They had us rev a Diesel engine to 2500 rpms "check it" after the oil change. (Our mechanic said "what you don't do that especially not to a diesel it either has pressure or not."). By the way he's a master mechanic. The only reason we went here was he was booked. After my husband left the vehicle sat for a couple of hours and he left work and he drove less than three miles the engine went to limp mode on a busy intersection. It was parked and oil was leaking. The manager came and looked and a tow truck took it to the Jiffy Lube. We were told it's not their fault it's a oil pan leak. Funny that they ask my husband how much oil his truck required, and my dad's dodge techs first question was if they over filled it. There was nothing wrong with this truck. The manager Tyler told us Luis Martinez denied the claim within 20 minutes of the tow and arriving to the shop. how??? He's not seen it or heard that by the way they left tools under our hood!
