The gentleman was taking care of two cars simultaneously, but I was out of there in 9 minutes. $11.50 but would have been 3.5% less if I'd paid with cash. I been here twice in the past week for both of my vehicles to get inspected. And I always get the same consistent result here - quick and friendly no nonsense service. On this day there were 4 cars waiting but the one guy working is a multitasker and had 2 bays filled up to make it more efficient. I was to there in just a few minutes and greeted with a hello and let me see your car insurance please. Very quick here, and I am out in less than 7 minutes. They are very nice and professional here too, and it is my go-to for the car state inspections. They also do it on Saturdays too which is great! read more

I have several cars and I have been coming here for a few years and only now am I finally writing a review. This place has always been consistent in their inspections, although I have not actually used their automotive repair services. This is basically a three in one business where you can get your car inspected, repaired, or detailed. I was told that the automotive shop does not repair foreign cars like BMWs or Mercedes, but primarily just American cars, but there is a shop nearby that does. It's always fast and friendly service here, however you might want to avoid the lunchtime rush. read more

This is my new favorite place for inspections. Shout out to Javier for always being excellent at his job! I'm not going to name names, but the two closest inspection spots to my house have given me issues. Both have rude staff. One likes to fail you for minor issues like a wiper blade needing to be replaced soon and oh wow they sell one for $40 so they can pass you. The other was ok but started charging to pay with a credit card and on top of the rudeness that was the last straw. I've been to Koenig Lane a handful of times and have yet to have an issue. All of my vehicles have passed inspection as they should, and the guy doing the inspection is always polite and courteous which is a nice change. They might be a few more minutes drive but I'll continue to come here. I've heard they do get busy but I've been lucky in that I've not had to wait too long each time I've gone. read more

Absolute go to for inspections. It was my first time going to Koenig Lane Automotive and went at about 4:00pm on a Tuesday. Checked google to see how busy it was and looked like it wasn't. Was in and out in less than 5 minutes. Attendant was very nice and quick. Looked like they had wiper blades for sale if needed for the test. Cost: $7 for Inspection fee and $11.50 for emissions test fee so total was $18.50. They do take credit cards. I'll happily pay that for a super quick and efficient inspection. 10/10 will go again. read more

If I could give this place more stars, I definitely would! This place is the best! As a college student in the midst of finals who commutes to campus and needs a car daily, I was stressed when my engine check light turned on. As someone with little knowledge of cars, I did not know how serious this was and felt that it was better to be safe than sorry. I had gone to another place initially, but due to miscommunication on their part and no availability, I had a bad experience and took my business elsewhere. I decided to come to Koenig Lane Automotive and I am absolutely so glad that I did! As soon as I pulled in looking a little lost on where to park, Hector (who I had spoken to on the phone right before going) came up and helped me immediately. He offered to drive me back to campus so I could leave my car with the shop. We had a nice conversation during the drive and after roughly 2 hours after dropping my car off, Hector called me and told me that it was a simple issue of my gas lid/cap not being on correctly. He helped me turn the light off as the gas lid/cap was now on correctly and I am so grateful to him. That said, I would definitely recommend this place! They are hard-working people and were honest to someone like me who does not have much knowledge of cars! Went to Koenig Lane Automotive because my usual spot was slammed and I had delayed getting my inspection done. Pulled right in and was promptly taken in and the inspection was completed. Unfortunately my car didn't pass because I had just replaced the battery and some of the internal systems (Evap) were not reset and coding as "Not Ready". Fortunately, they said I had a 15 day window to come back and have it re-inspected for free. They even gave me some tips on getting the statuses to reset - drive about 100 miles and make sure half of that is at high speeds on highways so the engine can get hot enough. Did that and came back a few days later and they passed me and gave me the updated paperwork. Highly recommend! read more

I went to one popular inspection spot who advertises being open until 6pm, but they were closed when I arrived at 5:25pm. Slightly frustrated, I checked Yelp and found this 5 star spot. 5 stars well deserved!! Was able to get an oil change and state inspection in under 45 minutes, even though they seemed pretty busy. Everyone was very friendly and the oil changes are reasonably priced. I paid ~$57 for synthetic oil, filter change, and they also checked my basic fluid levels and tire pressure. read more

This guy installed the wrong type of fuel pump and I had to bring it back 4 times because the check engine light kept coming on. He refused to use a Ford fuel pump and continually insisted on using a crap pump from O'Reillys. He treated my truck like an experiment and kept saying "I'll install another O'Reilly fuel pump and we'll see what happens. If it doesn't work, just bring it in again." - who the hell has time for that?? Eventually I had to consider this a sunk cost and went to another mechanic who installed the correct fuel pump. Haven't had a problem since. Lesson learned: use a mechanic that you can trust rather than bring your car here. You'll just spend more in the long run. read more
