Without expecting it to be done, the manager Kevin did an incredible job on the brakes for my Lexus. I watched him work like a demon when he discovered new calipers needed to be installed. Even when they're busy, I've never waited long! The staff educates you on what is upcoming on your car in terms of services you'll need, but they're not pushy. Just had my oil changed with Kevin and it was a really pleasant experience. For one, I was able to stay in my car while they did the work, which was done in 15 mins. Have you ever felt ripped off after getting your vehicle serviced? I have - several times. Last year I got an oil change from the dealership and they did not put enough oil in it. I did not notice until about a week later, when my jeep started running extremely bad. I made it to my friends house and her husband checked my oil to find if it was almost dry. No more going to the dealership for expensive oil change that takes two hours, for me anymore. Since then, I have gone to Jiffy Lube, where I can see them put the oil in. They also always have coupons and I am never they are more than 20 minutes. Today I went to Jiffy Lube in Ayer. The other locations were good but this location was great. I never thought I would be writing a review over an oil change. The manager Kevin went above and beyond. I told him the oil change was being done on my daughter's vehicle, who just got her license. Within just a few minutes he went over over everything with me, in detail. Apparently the mechanic we took it to, that was supposed to have gone through it with a fine tooth comb, replaced the radiator but did not put coolant in the radiator....or flush it. Thank you Kevin! He also found a couple other things that need to be done. Wish I could get everything done there. Luckily, he said they were going to be offering myore services, by the end of the summer. What a great, trustworthy guy. He filled the coolant and the price was just over five dollars. I will be referring all my family there . read more

I've always liked a Jiffy Lube. I needed an oil change - I could smell something was off with my car (I was long overdue to have the fluids looked at). They took care of me - it was a lot of work that I needed done on it, and it was expensive, but the manager hooked me up with a few little coupons. Every bit helps. Took a long time, but that was to be expected; I had a lot that needed to be looked at including having the tires rotated, etc. They took good care of me - left a stain on my front seat which kinda stinks. I told them not to worry - I'll clean it myself. So, aside from the stain and the expense, everything else was fine. read more

I've been twice. Both times as I waited in the waiting room I could hear the associates in the shop bad mouth my decision in oil type, the make and model of my car and the fact that I choose to smoke in my car. It was embarrassing. They tried to talk me into a 100$ oil change and then they made fun of me for not choosing synthetic. It was funny how clearly I could hear them talking in the shop because when the associate came back in to bill me I could barely understand her as she slurred through her script. I went to Ayer just for a oil change nothing else, I think $140 for a oil change is a little expensive, and 40 minutes from the time they started is Long time considering a car pulled in 15 minutes after me and he was was done at the same time as me. Not very "jiffy." I was told that I would wait 35 to 40 minutes, and I've been waiting for an hour and my car still isn't done. No one has touched my car for the past 20 minutes, and they tried to upsell me on everything, even services that I know I don't need! I visited the jiffy lube in Ayer, for a regular oil change. Richard who came up to my car didn't greet me, and just said "what are we doin?" I said "just a regular oil change." He then just walked away. There was drilling go on under my car for a good 20 min, I asked Richard what this noise was, because I had never heard it before during an oil change. He said "well they do it every time!" And walked away. Greg, then walked over and told me the amount, I said, "how did you know what lol to use? Nobody ever asked me what kind?" He argued back and forth about three times that Richard told him, I said I wanted synthetic" which was untrue! Richard NEVER asked me. They both then stood in front of my car talking about me, and the situation, which was so unprofessional! Finally, when it was time for me to leave, I pulled out, and Greg screamed "HAVE A GREAT DAY!!!" Super loud and passive aggressive! I've tried a bunch of quick lube shops and have found jiffy lube to be the most comfortable experience with the best service. They know their stuff and don't pressure you to buy stuff you don't want. Tell me what my car needs and let me decide. That's what they do. I took my wife's ten year old Toyota with 187k miles for an oil change and since she had a$10 coupon, i went to Jiffy Lube. Due to COVID, of course, I stayed in the car and everyone was masked. I presented my coupon and said just an oil change, knowing the filters etc were fine. When finished the technician took my card and coupon and said my receipt would be emailed. No email ever came. They sent it to an email address that doesn't exist! And when my wife checked the bank this AM, we were shocked to find that we'd been charged 68.21 after the coupon...for an oil change! (We don't even pay that at the dealer!). My wife immediately went down and she was told that they had used synthetic oil. We informed them we've never used synthetic oil and their reply was that it was the manufacturer's recommendation. Balderdash! I bought that car ten years ago at Acton Toyota and they didn't recommend it and we' e never used it and at 187K it seems just fine. My wife was told that the only way they'd even consider a refund was if they drained all the oil. At this point we didn't even want them touching the car. A man, appearing to be the manager or at least the highest ranking person on duty, wouldn't even speak with her but kept whispering to the technician what to say. My wife left. We're contesting the charge with our bank and we've written a complaint to corporate and on Yelp. I offer this to those if you looking for a place to get your oil change. I asked for just an oil change and that was all, when my car was done they had my bill at $65.00 because they decided to do the most expensive oil change, the signature service. My oil was changed, but I asked for $35 dollar and was charged for a $65.00 service. Not coming back. read more

Jiffy Lube is just indescribably terrible. They literally ruined my wife's nearly brand new F450 pick-up truck by putting the wrong oil filter on, and installing that oil filter incorrectly as it was. They claimed that they actually put the correct filter on, but just wrote down a different one on the printout, which was obviously a complete and utter lie since our mechanic inspected the vehicle, saw the wrong filter and saw that it had been put on improperly. How hard is it to put on an oil filter? Despite finally acknowledging it was their fault, having no reason to deny it whatsoever, they've been continually going out of their way to avoid paying for the damages. Either not answering calls, responds to e-mails (from us or are lawyer), or when they do respond, asking additional questions seeking some way they might be able to weasel their way out of paying for what they are liable for. One of the last questions was why my wife was hauling horses with her pick-up truck, nevermind that it was specifically purchased for that reason and that reason was discussed with the deal when it came time to purchase a new truck, is completely rated to haul such a weight, and has been properly modified to attach the goose-neck horse trailer my wife hauls, and did not have an issue until Jiffy Lube got their hands on it. Seriously, don't patronize Jiffy Lube at all. There's a better oil change operation just 1/2 a mile down the road from this one. read more

HANDS DOWN THE WORSE PLACE EVER!!!!!! I only went there because it was convenient but every time I go the staff tries to be sneaky and upgrade my oil change by wording it differently when it is something I never wanted to begin with. Luckily I am cautious and they never got away with it... Until I had a family member do it for me because I was busy and they scammed me! He told them to get the usual one, which is 39.99 the one I always get but they snuck in an extra charge that was never asked. This place is awful, and the last time I went one of the workers made an insulting comment & was very discriminating towards women. Whatever happened to the management is just straight out TERRIBLE! I've been going here for years, and the place has really gone downhill over time. This is the closest Jiffy Lube to where I grew up, and where I currently live, and they do an absolutely shit job every time lately. I will not go back again. The last two times I've gone there they have not even vacuumed my floor. I had an engine light go on after going that I had to go to a mechanic about because they didn't connect the air filter back correctly. I wasn't looking for anything special, it's been my go-to oil change place when I don't go to the dealer for regular service... but no more. Stay away, as far away, as you possibly can. read more
