I came in yesterday and I was impressed with the customer service. The last time I was there I interacted with a rude cashier. He overcharged me even tho I had a coupon. He brought out some filthy filters which I then told him I did not want my filters changed because my husband does that. He proceeded to tell me "you want me to pull them out from the trash!" I said yes. So the attitude I got from that guy really made me consider going elsewhere for my service. But since it's just up the street from me I chose convince once again. But this time I was greeted by a gentleman man named George. He was very polite and very communicative. I was impressed and appreciative of his customer service. He was very attentive and was keeping me in the loop of everything that was being done to my car. And when it was time to charge me, he charged me 60 bux less than the last time I was there. Which is what I had paid before my last encounter. Which makes me believe that the other guy was pocketing my money. anyway, not going to accuse, but I just wanted to point out that this time around my experience was very pleasant and speedy. I went to go get a quote for my oil change, and older disabled man approached me and told me my car would estimate $138 straight out the door. Just based off the model. And when I asked about using a coupon he said they've never accepted coupons ever so it's probably not our state. HIS EXACT WORDS. He told me he could get the price down to $108 but that's as far as he would go and that other places would charge way more in his opinion. I found it odd given I told him my year of my car and nothing else. I ended up going to another location by where I live. They scanned my car label, and gave me a price of $70 and checked for other things for free with the service. Some people are just scammers only trying to take advantage of people who need a service. This place is ok but considering my last encounter, they drop another star. I walked in with a Groupon for regular oil and one of the guy says he will honor it this time but instructed me to stop buying them because he's not going to accept them anymore. (The store manager) I simply told him, well you need to pull it off the Groupon site then or else anyone else will buy and you have to honor. He's like yup "we give way better discount than the Groupon site does anyways", which is a lie, they never once offered me any discount when I previously came here and paid full price! I have a 2001 Chrysler Sebring with (no joke) 249,000 ORIGINAL MILES on it. Yesterday I pulled up to this place (which Ive used in the past) and I never had a chance to get out of the car! Some guy comes over and asks what I need. I simply told him exactly what it says on the banner over the door......a 29.95 oil change. He asked what the mileage was and then walked over to another guy, came back and told me that because I had such high mileage it would be 79.95!!!! I explained to him that 249,000 miles is NOTHING on a 20 year old car (that runs perfectly, I might add). He insisted that it was necessary and I told him, "Youre nuts!" and drove off, went 10 minutes down Alosta to my regular mechanics at Purrfect Auto in Glendora and got it done for (are you ready for this?) 18.95 !!!! BTW, one thing ive noticed about all the negative reviews here is the stock replies "Were so sorry. Its not what we strive for. Let us make it right with you" What a bunch of bull-crap! read more

He was very thorough when explaining the issues I am experiencing with my car and let me know what was needed for my car to be back in good condition. He answered all of my questions and provided me with detailed information on what I was being charged for. There were other two gentlemen that assisted in this process and were very helpful as well. I have been coming to this location for over 20 years since my friend Andy worked here. Even though Andy left quite some time ago, I have continued to frequent this location because I have always received stellar mechanical service backed by excellent customer service. On my most recent visit this week, I was helped by Jack behind the computer and James under the hood. I made sure to come in before my 3K miles and/or 3 month date for my standard oil change. I noticed my car was running rough and I needed to be sure everything was tip top for my upcoming road trip. While performing the service, James discovered I had no oil registering on the dip stick and only a quarter of a quart when they pulled the plug. James informed Jack and he informed me. I know I have no leaks and the car is only a few years old so I was baffled. Jack explained that the type of engine in my vehicle (DGI, I believe) actually burns oil rapidly. They not only told me everything I needed to know, but showed me. James pulled the dip stick and showed me how exactly to read it. Jack advised I keep it in the full area of the stick at all times by checking it and adding every 500 miles or so as needed. He went on to remind me that I could pop into any Jiffy Lube nationwide for a top off of up to 2 quarts as needed too. Not only did I get fixed up for my trip, but I gained valuable information that will no doubt keep my car safe but possibly save the lives of me and my passengers in the future. On Saturday, June 10 at 1:45 PM I had my oil changed in my car at this Jiffy Lube. I later got on the freeway and headed up to Lake Arrowhead and as I was driving on the 210 freeway I could hear a banging underneath my car, I pulled over and took some pictures of something hanging down underneath my car. My husband wanted me to have my car towed home so as to not damage the car any further, however it was 5:45 in the afternoon and having the car towed home, did not sound like an option to me. I called the Jiffy Lube in Azusa and they were already closed. I then looked up Jiffy Lube in Upland and found that there Jiffy Lube on foothill Boulevard was still open. So I called them and they agreed to help me and to see what the problem is. Evidently the the Jiffy, Lube in Azusa did not screw on the plate cover on the bottom of my engine And that's what was hanging down, causing all the racket. The gentleman at Jiffy Lube graciously agreed to fix it even though it wasn't there mixup or screwup and I was so appreciative. Came in to get a simple oil change but was told that my car had to have the most expensive oil that is 89 dollars. When I called him on it and said that I never get the top oil can I get the one that is $69 he said "oh sure you can but we are out of it" then he said "if you want to go somewhere else you can" No! I don't want to drive around on Friday and waste my afternoon because you are "out" of the oil I need. After air filters (which also seemed crazy expensive btw) and the oil change my total was $166!!!! What!?!! Never. NEVER. Coming back here. Stopped by to see if they had availability to squeeze me in for a full synthetic oil change today. They took my vehicle in very quickly and kept me updated on any mechanical issues if there were any and also showed me all of my oil/coolant levels so i had that peace of mind. The older gentleman who assisted me at the register made sure i understood the break down of all items on the invoice and even gave an an estimate on paper before anything was touched on my vehicle. The mechanic Ricardo was super knowledgeable on everything he was doing and i felt so comfortable in the atmosphere at the shop which is super important for me.
