This Jiffy Lube is by far the WORST location I've ever been to. They charged me $80 for an oil change and said it didn't include any other services, after initially telling me it included tire rotation, all fluids topped off, tire pressure check, etc.. I've been to plenty of Jiffy Lubes and they've always included this in the price. The lady that rung me up was very rude and said since they are a franchise they don't do what other Jiffy Lube normally do. I honestly don't even think they changed my oil since the guy that pulled my car in started working on another vehicle. When they pulled my car out- my tire pressure light was still and they quickly reset the oil light. Awesome experience from start to finish. I came in for a Ride Share vehicle inspection. I was told these usually take 20 minutes. The team at this store had me out an on my way in about 8. Clearly, a dutiful, well-organized bunch. Amazing service from Terrell, who was warm/welcoming and professional. Truly an exceptional talent that made me feel like a valued customer. I want to Jiffy Lube today, requested an oil change and tire rotation around 3:30pm when they were closing at 5pm. The young man who checked me in said there are 2 cars in from of me but they could get me in no problem. As soon as i sat in the waiting room I heard another employee complaining loudly that they can't do it, and how bad of a spot I put them in almost an hour before closing. And for the next hour the guy complained about me loudly making it a very uncomfortable visit. I have been to this Jiffy Lube before and heard this guy complain in general, but this time he was blatantly blaming me and swearing about it because me coming in ruined his day. I then watched the guy storm in the waiting room ahead of me and shut the open sign off about 4:15pm. I have no complaints about the actual work, but after the constant attitude and disrespect I felt today I will no longer be going to this Jiffy Lube. Today I needed to get my oil changed. I went to this Jiffy Lube and a service guy told me I would have to wait 15 minutes before a stall opened up. I did not want to wait, nor had the time to. I chose to leave and the Manager, Stephen, came out and asked what the problem was. I told him and he immediately took care of me. There was a service truck blocking one of their bays. (Which the guy thought was the problem, initially). Stephen (I hope I am spelling his name correctly) said, "They are leaving and I don't want to lose any business/customers. He was very polite, apologetic, and truly seemed to be a leader amongst his employees. He definitely had his hands full, yet was courteous and continued to work extremely well with customers. If he was not there, I am sure I would have left. Kudos to him! On a very hot day, with a lot going on, he kept a smile on his face and wanted his customers to be satisfied. I hope his boss will see this and acknowledge him for his dedication and hard work. He is a true leader! read more

Very poor customer service. I went to get an oil change in my daughters car at noon. I was told they were closing for an hour because the store is short staffed and the employees needed breaks. The store was going to reopen at 1pm. I was disappointed but understand employees working 12 hour days 6 days a week are entitled to a break. I was even offered $10 off if I came back and they would also honor the coupon I had. I ran a couple of errands and returned at 1:30 and the store was still closed. There was not a sign on the door mentioning what time they would be reopening and phone calls went unanswered. I ended up going to another oil change chain around the corner. If this store doesn't do something soon to properly staff their store so their employees don't have to work 12 hour days 6 days a week they will keep losing business to the chain around the corner. read more

This by far is the worst oil change experience i have ever has. Only proceeded by this same place on a previos oil change I should have known better. They say screw me once shame on you. Screw me twice Shame on me. The first. Time was summer hot out. Came in with a/c running got oil change was leaving and a/c blower would not come on after they said they did not do anything found out the hit and unplugged the blower when tring to check the cabin filter . My experience today is when i got my invoice and truck was being pulled out tire pressure stated 35 psi front ,35 psi rear I have a f250 van. Which rated pressure is 60 psi. Front. 80 psi rear. They said they were going to check the pressure now. [ o so you pull it outside the bay out in the rain to check tire pressure ]. As i was getting into the truck as he pulled it out you could hear a rod knock i asked if they put oil in it And checked the level they said yes and they dont hear anything i told them to shut the truck off and lets check the oil, The kid who filled the oil. Could not find the dip stick after he said he checked the level. Hmm. How could that be. After checking it did not even register on the dip stick. He said he was going to pull it back in. I said leave it here and go get oil. Not to start it It took about 3 to 4 quarts to get to proper level. If i would have drove off i probably would be replacing an engine. Now. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANY ONE. AND THE ONLY TIME THEY WILL SEE ME IS WHEN I DRIVE BY GIVING THEM THE 1 FINGER WAVE. Worst oil change ever. I stopped in for a quick oil change and tire rotation as it was convienent and fairly reasonably priced. After I drove off the lot my exhaust was draining enough black smoke and exhaust to make Al Gore cry. I returned and they promptly flushed the oil and refilled (this time with the proper amount). Once this was resolved, I proceeded on a road trip only to have my skid plate tear loose while driving 85 mph flying all over the freeway. Two weeks later a rattle started in my car and after inspection by another party turns out they did not tighten all my lug nuts on there of my tires and stripped one that they did. Today I go and get my oil changed and a tire rotation on lunch break from work on my 09 mazdaspeed 3 at the Bolingbrook, Illinois 60440 location. Everything is going fine until one of the attendents attempts to pull my car out. He starts out by stalling my car (manual transmission) not once but three times! He then revs the car extremly high and pulls out very slow with the engine still all the way reved up and gets out laughing with the guy directing him out and says "last time I drove one of these I put tire marks on the ground" I say "I dont see whats to funny about stalling my car three times and reving my car all the way up." At this point all I smell is burnt clutch and ask to speak to a manager. The other gentleman who was laughing too says that he is and that he is sorry. I say I dont see what was so funny about that and he says they were not laughing they are just happy people with a smug look on his face. I asked him what happens when I cant drive my car because the clutch is out and he says that they will fix it. The problem is my clutch wont break today but in a couple days so in the mean time I am stuck taking my vehicle to a mechanic to see if anything is wrong. Is jiffy lube going to cover it ? No of course not!I cannot believe the lack of customer service and blatant lack of respect for my property! read more

I really hate writing bad reviews but i was very upset the last time i went for an oil change here. I had gone here before and they did it without a problem. I came back when i needed a new oil change after it said under new management. But i didnt think anything of it because i had not had a problem last time. Anyway, when i went they told me after waiting literally 30 minutes that they couldnt do it because they didnt have the right tools and to come back. So i was like okay ill come back. I went again like a week later and they made me wait yet again 30 minutes for nothing! This time they told me with an attitude that they couldnt do it because my car had too much going on and it was too hard to do it and they were too busy. Literally. And what made it worse that all the employees were sitting in the waiting room. 4 freaking guys. Doing NOTHING. He then told me, "You can go now you dont owe nothing because we didnt do anything to it, have a nice day." With the most serious face. And walked away. NEVER GOING BACK THERE! read more

Horrible customer service! Clearly it seems like they have problems with filters. I went there for an oil change and was told that I need to replace my cabin filter I then declined. After getting home I realized that they did not replace the cover. So I put it put so when I return I would have them put it back it. Now time has past and when I needed an oil change I was not in the area so I would go to the nearest location. One weekend I had free time and decided to get an oil change there which was almost $50. So one of their employees told me to go down the street to Merlins where it would be cheaper, so I did. Not thinking about the cabin filter cover that they needed to put backon. Today when I returned I told them about the cover now all of a sudden they tell me that they do not know where to put it. I told them that it was taking off there so they have to put it back on. The so called manager told me "well I can't find it so you will have to take it back to the dealership" I then told him that I am not leaving until it is put back on so he threatens to call the police on me!!! I told him to go right ahead and call them... now I'm beyond pissed! I asked to speak to the GM and he claims that he is. I asked him that what happened to customer service and the customer is right and he said "well in this case you are wrong." So of course my voice has raised and he tells me that raising my voice is uncalled for. i guess he thought that the threat to call the cops on me was going to put fear in me and i reminded him to call them and he did not. Long story short they did not put the cover back on and he slams the pen on the counter for me to sign. So unprofessional, I do not recommend anyone going there! read more

I have been a customer of this store location for about 5 years and the only reason why I'm not giving it a 1 star is because i've had better experiences there in the past. However, I wanted to comment on a recent experience I had when I took my car in for an oil change. As always they did a check up and recommended that I clean my air filter, although they always "recommend" I do this, i knew it had been about 6 months since the last time I did it so I agreed to have this done. The guy later came to me and showed me my air filter and said he had a "hard time" getting it out because of the location of my air filter. When he brought it over to me I noticed that he had broken the air duct to the air filter and i pointed this out to him. He said it was already like this before he took it out but I knew he was lying. A) I check my car regularly and knew it wasn't broken B) if he had noticed that it was broken he would have said something about it before ripping the air filter out. I asked him to fix it but he refused to do so saying that he did not break it, I finally spoke to the manager who said he would fix it but wanted me to go and buy the parts first, he would just not charge me for the labor. I became very upset at this moment and insisted that they fix it and cover all charges. They eventually ignored all my requests and let my car go. They asked me to pay around $90 for my oil change and changing the air filter. What makes me the most upset honestly is the fact that they let my car go like that and that they refused to listen to what I was trying to communicate to them. How can they let a customer go like that? The air duct to my air filter is now broken and it does me NO GOOD to have a perfectly "new" air filter with a broken duct. I would not recommend that you attend this location. The staff was very rude and for the price you pay it simply is not worth it. read more

So I had been pushing driving around with Oil at 4% (I usually change at 23%) life happens we get busy. On my way to work my gut told me don't drive your 40 miles to work without getting Oil changed. Money is pretty tight and I really wanted to wait but again....Priorities. I drive in Nick comes to my window, I immediately ask him how fast I can get Oil Changed. He tells me 10-20mins. I said, "Perfect". I have a seat, they pull car in & proceed to check things out. Nick came back to tell me I would need a new Air filter. I know enough about cars & know that it was time, I asked how much & he told me. I also asked how much the total would be. At this point I felt sick, but I had a $10off coupon which would have been only a 10% savings. Nick was very friendly & got me in & out very quickly. They did state that they did windows which the had not, but I really was in a hurry because I am a office manager in Schaumburg & was already going to be late. I think Nick could tell the cost was a bit much for me & offered another store discount. I will be back here for sure. Compassion & professionalism is key. Oh coffee was cold but still available(i didn't get my coffee this morning either until I got here) , I realize they aren't selling coffee. lol read more
