This is my "go to" Jiffy Lube/vendor for oil change and regular vehicle maintenance. I have never spent more than 30 minutes (even on a Friday afternoon before a holiday) at this location. They are fast and friendly -- and best of all -- straight forward! I've been going here for 5 years (usually Friday afternoons or early Saturday). There is no superfluous services or BS; just what I need and an honest assessment when things need addressed. I highly recommend this location based on professionalism, quality and fast service. This place is a joke went to get a lyft vehicle inspection noted I drive an almost brand new Audi everything was fine except license plate bulb was out and a wiper blade that left a streak which I didn't but whatever so I said fine do it so I can get on my way not only did I get way overcharged I HAD TO SHOW THEM HOW TO CHANGE THE WIPERS AND BULB LOL. Going to this place was the worst decision I made all day yesterday. The guy Gio, I think that was his name anyways, was very pushy and when I didn't buy anything but my oil change from him, became very rude and ignorant, he had a really bad attitude towards me. All I wanted was a 25 dollar oil change and this guy tried to tell me that everything else under the sun was wrong with my car. I get it, they're there to make money, but when someone doesn't buy, does that make it ok to treat that person like crap??? I've been taking our fleet vehicle to this Jiffy Lube for four years now. I'd never written a review before now because the work performed and customer service were what you'd expect from a walk-in oil change facility who pays their techs less than a living wage. But so many things stood out during my visit on Tuesday, April 23rd that I felt compelled to compliment Joe and Anton, the two, and only two techs present that day, running the entire facility by themselves! These two can't be more than 27 years old, yet with the utmost courtesy, professionalism, and efficiency, I watched and listened to them service a customer before me, me (obviously), and "check in" the customer after me. They demonstrated the kind of teamwork, competency, and customer service rarely seen by twenty-somethings these days. If I could do anything to give them a pay raise, I'd do so. Two other topics to note: The restroom was stocked with tissue, hand soap, and paper towels, there was fresh coffee in the carafe in the waiting room, and the signage boasting their commitment in "Keeping things green" impressed me. I never noticed any of these things before my visit on 4/23/19...and I owe my lasting impression to Joe and Anton. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK, GUYS! read more

I recently purchased a new used car, unfortunately it did not have an owners manual. I went into this jiffy lube when a code popped up and I do not know what it meant. When I arrived, I was greeted immediately and the manager Pete, listened to my concern. What a knowledgeable guy! Have been to this location a few times for mine and my wife's car. They advertise a $24.99 special but then when you go in there it doesn't include top offs and vacuuming etc.. for that it was an extra $10 so I paid the extra $10 to leave and notice the car wasn't vacuumed and 2 days after my windshield fluid was out. A few times have gone there and they are short staffed with a 20-30min wait to get the car in. Never going back to this location. Also wanted to charge over $30 for a cabin air filter when it take 30 second to change and is a $10 filter at auto zone. So I just bought it at auto zone to save $20... what a joke. read more

I went here 6 months ago to get my oil changed. They told me I needed the highest quality oil for my engine (I drive a honda civic for God's sake). I had no idea how much an oil change should cost, so assumed $110 was typical. I just got my oil changed at a Honda dealership and it cost $33. If you are a sucker and know nothing about cars, they will take advantage of you. If you know what's going on, you might fare better than me. read more

As a proud 1st-time-owner of a Hyundai Sonata, I am really apprehensive with the maintenance I need to maintain. I have a dear friend who is a very good mechanic that told me I need an oil change. Horror stories of young teen girls getting taken advantage of at car service places because they have NO CLUE what they're doing, rushed through my head and the thought of going to someone I don't know scared the monkeys out of me. After what seemed like days trying to find a cheap decent place, buying oil and the crap to potentially have my bf do it, returning the crap because he's never worked on a new car like mine, and calling around trying to get it done before starting my commute to college... we came here. YES. small waiting room, but I forgive it for their timely service. They were super busy, but I was able to leave within an 1 and a half of waiting. I don't know about you but that's good. I stuck to my guns when they of course offered all the premiums, and the guy who helped me didn't pressure me to do anything. I appreciate this since those thoughts of not knowing anything about cars again ran through my head. They were having a managers special, so I only paid about 30$, and normally for the basic basic oil of their oil change is $41. Oh yeah the oil change only comes with this package where they visibly check for problem areas, clean windows and vacuum the car. UH ONLY THING IS THAT I STILL FOUND LEAVES underneath my passenger seat. I guess I'll be going back here if I don't learn myself how to change my oil. read more

I went in to get a oil change a couple days ago, later that day I got an email for 25% off oil changes on veterans day so that kind of sucked but I went in for my Uber inspection and failed because the guy working there doesn't know the difference between two working brake lights and a extra added brake light. The Uber forum says stop lights on it well my two stop lights are working they're always working the top third stop light is not working and has not worked since 2013 because of a Ford shitty wiring problem. So far I've taken that car in there to get the oil changed and inspected for Uber and have had no problem what so ever. All of a sudden someone that doesn't know the difference decides to say I'll tell you right now you won't pass your inspection because you're brake light is out on top. The place is always slow two people working at times the waiting area is freezing cold never any coffee except one time when I was leaving he brought coffee out. Service is going down dramatically and I won't be back to that place for sure. Speaking with another lady waiting shivering because she was freezing she said she came here for the first time and it's going to go back to her old place next time. read more

I've brought 2 different cars there in the past year. I gave them the benefit of the doubt the first time because they quoted me one price and there was some nonsensical added charge when I went to pay. Also, after I got home I had a new oil leak that I never had before. I brought it my mechanic and he couldn't prove anything for sure, but told me that something could have happened when I brought it in for oil change, because it wasn't leaking before I brought it into Jiffy Lube! I let it go that time. The second time they didn't have the oil that I needed for my car so I asked one of the employees, if I supplied the oil and the filter, would they be able to do the oil change? Three different employees quoted me the same price, $30.00 plus tax, then when I brought it in today and picked up the car, once again, there was an additional $5.00 charge, plus the tax! The kid said it was because of the make of my car! I said when I pulled in here with the car, you and 2 other employees, all quoted me the same price! They all saw what kind of car it was, yet none them mentioned an additional $5.00 fee! The kid took offense to me questioning the charge and got an attitude with me! Then I got an attitude and asked for a manager who was also very inexperienced and told me that I was being "petty" about the additional charge. It wasn't really about the $5.00, yet the manager couldn't understand why I was upset? I grew up during a time, when a businessperson gave you a quote, that is what you were charged! This is the second time with 2 different cars that they pulled this nickel and dime bait and switch BS! Stay away from this place! Again, it's nickel and dime stuff, but they've got a bunch of inexperienced, entitled, young people working here, who don't understand, that if they don't honor and respect their customers, they won't have a job or a business to go to in the future! I believe they're dishonest, inexperienced, arrogant, and if you ever question the charges, they feel they have the right to get an attitude with you? I came in at lunch time and was out within 15 minutes. Dwayne greeted me and they started on my oil change right away. After a few minutes, he advised me of add-ons and options, explaining why he did or did not recommend particular items, and leaving the decisions up to me. I took some of the add-ons, but declined most knowing that I can change the filters, for example, myself. All told, this was a quick, easy, no-nonsense oil change; Exactly what I wanted. I went to get an oil change with one car in the bay next to me. 30 minutes later my car was still outside and the 3 guys working on the other car, with a perplexed look on their face were attempting a service other than an oil change and appeared to be figuring it out as they went along. They told me it would be at least 20 more minutes before I could get my car. So much for getting your oil changed in a Jiffy- never again! Lost a long time customer with 4 cars. I was never was going to go.back to jiffy lube because of past experiences. Because Alfonso was so nice i decided to go. When i went i had a great experiencr, Alfonso and Omar were very nice from the time i pulled up to the time i left. After my last jiffy lube experience in Saint Charles I considered avoiding other sites, but these guys were great. I have to say, this is by far the best Jiffy Lube I've been to. Generally other sites have had me in and out in 10 mins which resulted in careless mistakes that nearly ruined my vehicle. With that being said, Alfonso and his crew in Carol Stream were the opposite in that they really took their time and gave quality service. I only came in for an oil change, but they went above and beyond with their work. They vacuumed, topped off fluids, filled tires, Ect. Did it take longer than expected? Yes. However, I'm content with waiting knowing that they care about my vehicle. Overall, they had great customer service, were very transparent and I will only stop at this facility from now on. read more

Always friendly and attentive here on the weekends. I've never had poor customer service at this location and I have been a regular customer for years. The complaints about upselling are ridiculous. What do you expect? The buisness model here is no different from most any other service chain. The staff has always been polite and has never been aggressive with their sales approach. Wow, am I impressed with Jiffy Lube in Carol Stream! My tire air pressure looked low so I called to see if I could bring my car in just to have the tires checked. Gio was so kind and provided exceptional, fast service. I was not charged for this service, which was very nice of Jiffy Lube. I tried twice to get my oil changed, first time they didn't have the oil filter, they asked (after a 30 min wait) if I would go get one they can replace it, ha! Really!?!? Today there was only one car in their bay, they told me I had to wait 39 minutes before they can get my car in. I will be getting a refund from Groupon. We purchased a Groupon for Jiffy Lube. When we arrived a week ago there was a long wait and so we asked what day would be good to come back. They recommended Sunday afternoon. We came back today and there was no wait (great!) In the waiting area I pull up the Groupon on my phone and they inform me I need to have it printed out to be able to use it, other than being told to leave my keys in the car this is the first time I had spoken to anyone. I ask them to stop the oil change because I do not have a way to print it out at the store and I am afraid it will expire before I need another oil change. I am then informed that the oil has already been drained and I must pay for the oil change now without the Groupon (they were reasonably apologetic and polite about it). The service was done quickly and I'm not complaining about the workers, but the corporate procedure to handle the Groupon which we had already paid for is infuriating! We will not be returning to Jiffy Lube. read more

The staff was friendly when I went there today, however they don't do their jobs. After I left, I noticed that "Wash Exterior Windows" had been marked as completed, when it was very obvious that this was not done. While washing the exterior windows is not the most important aspect of the full service oil change, it makes me wonder what other steps on the check list were not completed. Then, I notice that they filled my tires to the incorrect pressure of 32 PSI when they should be at 35 PSI. I see getting this wrong as a huge mistake and potentially very costly. So between not doing work that is paid for to doing it incorrectly, I would recommend to everyone not to go here. There are hundreds of places in the area that can get something as simple as the tire pressure correct. read more
