I went here to get my tires rotated and my brakes checked and was told that I needed new brakes in the back and was quoted $459 so I declined to have them done and I got them checked at different service center and was told that there was nothing wrong with my brakes and I did not need new ones. They tried to rip me off and to make matters worse because they didn't charge me for a tire rotation, I gave the guy a tip and he took it. I will never go back to this place again and I will tell everybody I know not to go there. I typically get my inspection and oil changes done there and not anymore. read more

My 2015 car has never failed an inspection and today they said my windows tint wasn't the right percentage and that whoever did my car before wasn't doing their job! He also said this won't matter in three weeks. I have a friend who is a policeman and I asked him about this and the "safety" of the tint and he laughed! Requested to have signature service, and the following was not done Exterior windows and Vacuum interior floors were not done. Was not informed if air filters were in need of replacement. Checked myself. Was not informed of fluid levels needed to be topped off. Don't know if they did it or not. Do not know if this was performed?! No recommendations or consultation of the following Inspected Key Components: Antifreeze/coolant reservoir levels Engine air filtration system Serpentine belts Brake fluid level (in transparent reservoirs) Wiper blades Exterior lights Chassis (lubricate when applicable) I was not informed if the following was Checked and Filled: Transmission/transaxle fluid Differential/transfer case fluid Power steering fluid Windshield washer fluid No consultation from advisors. I was only asked what type of oil needed? I responded synthetic blend which I found it was very strange. I also informed them I was in the Jiffy Lube system, and all the information on the vehicle is recorded. I was never consulted with what service was performed. I've always had my cars serviced at Jiffy lube in different parts of the country where I lived from the East Coast, South West, and the West Coast. Very strange on how the service was performed. Friendly gentleman that took my money. I will be returning for service, but now I know what to expect and look for. I will inquire on all the services performed. read more

This location totaled my 100,000 truck on Monday 10/9/23 by starting the engine with no oil in it...I am not from Texas. I had to have my own vehicle towed to the dealership ($300+). I had to stay in a hotel everyday at ($125+) a night. I have had to get a rental to run errands at ($89+) a day and provide for myself and my partner (this was a work vehicle). I have been fussed out by the jiffy lube rep Justin Le Mears and corporate has not been a help! You would think bringing your vehicle to a trusted brand would uphold their guarantees...instead they have just kept reiterating they will not do anything and i need to contact the franchisee who owns that Jiffy Lube...yet i have no contact for the franchisee and was not given any, Justin keeps stating "He does not know!?!!!" When I asked Justin why he is not paying for my hotel room his response was "if I were to pay for your room and you trashed it, who would be responsible for that?" I said, "you because you trashed my truck...but i was informed that Holiday Inn could send paperwork stating Jiffy Lube would only be responsible for the room and tax, I'd pay the incidentals"...it has been 3 more days and Jiffy Lube has still not paid for my hotel fees or for my truck or anything else!?!!! My insurance and my warranty do not Want to pay because of jiffy lubes "willful negligence"...I am hoping for some relief in the next coming week. I do not recommend going to jiffy lube! I have dealt with very capable locations but this experience shows you never know when you'll be dealt a raw hand and will not be covered by Jiffy Lube...The man working on my truck did not even know he had to put his foot on the brake to start the truck! He was the manager of that location! This location needs to be shut down! From the start they should have been paying for a room for myself and my partner, my tow, my rental car!?!! Maybe they thought I would sleep on the street? I am very confused of the treatment in general!!! Update: it's been over 4 wks and my truck has not been repaired. Their state inspection people are flaky. The first day I went, I was told the inspection people weren't there, so I should stop by between 9am-4pm the next day. So, I did; when I first pulled up, they said the state inspection guy wasn't there and will be back in about an hour. I came back an hour later to be told he still hadn't shown up and he clocks out within the next hour and a half. I don't blame the people at the front desk. So I went to get an AC Evacuation and recharge which cost me $160. I am extremely unsatisfied with the work done on my vehicle. Nothing was fixed or changed with the AC in fact it blows hot air which is perfect for this hot triple digit Texas weather !! It seemed as if they didn't do anything to my vehicle. If anything they just faked it and played around with the R-134A machine. You couldn't even hear the machine working or doing anything. I know those machines are not quiet. When they were finished the tech Andrew asked me if I feel a difference in the AC which I said no there is no difference ,but I hoped that driving around would solve the problem. read more

Update: I won't be contacting you, and I wasn't expressing an opinion, I recounted FACTS. Your business is crooked, and I'll not only go elsewhere, I'll warn everyone else about your business. NOBODY SHOULD SHOP HERE. Here's the routine: you pull up, tell them you need an oil change. You're ushered inside to wait. There are no prices posted anywhere. They drain your oil, then come in to give you the news. Oil? $99.99. ouch. Both filters need replacing. Agreed, but $75? And just like that, you're stuck with a $186 oil change. What are you going to do, tell them to put your oil back so you can go to SpeeDee for the literally the same service at literally half the price? Shady business practice at best. But more, when my car unexpectedly died right there on the driveway, he really impressed me with the great care and thoughtfulness he exhibited, to help get me going. He even used his own personal truck to jump start my car! It turned out I had a bad battery and alternator (another mechanic diagnosed). If I could give negative stars I would. Several things were wrong with this visit. I went against my better judgement and took my car here for an oil change vs the dealer. As soon as I turned my car on 2 service lights came on that were not on prior to pulling into Jiffy Lube. I get out and ask "what did you do?" They immediately became defensive. They were no help. As soon as I turn out of the drive way I hear something sliding around on my dash and it is two screws that were not there before the oil change. Please don't ever use this location if you don't want to have problems with your car when you leave. On my paperwork it says they checked tire pressure. Clearly they let air out vs checked the pressure. read more

Just Wow! I came in today for an inspection. The facility was very nice and clean. Killwonda even took the time to give me the WiFi password. My inspection completed by Terrence was very quick. When Terrence came back in to give me the keys, he let me know that he was able to get out a scratch from something falling on my car from yesterday's winds. What a wonderful surprise from a truly wonderful individual. I have never had someone go out of their way to help me in this way and I didn't even know how to thank him. I had a pretty solid experience here. It's a typical Jiffy Lube location, but I could tell management was trying to provide a smooth customer experience. The staff was friendly. The waiting area and restroom was clean, modern, and updated. There were small details like a massage chair available. It's nice to see the effort. Only issue I have is that they definitely overcharge for certain services, beyond what I would say is reasonable. But if you're in a rush, they'll take care of you pretty quickly. State inspection went smoothly. Make sure to ask for any discounts possible. read more

Went in yesterday 11/8 for state inspection. When I arrived was told to pull in to bay 4. Waited for about 10 minutes while watching 2 employees work on the only other vehicle in the shop. Finally a third employee wandered over and asked if I was being helped. I said no and he asked what I needed. I said I needed a state inspection. He then informed me that the inspector was not there but he could do it. So if he is not an inspector (I assume they are certified by the state) why is he doing inspections? I said as long as it is official and the state will be notified so I can get my registration done. He said it would. Then he wandered off and went to the office and helped another person for a while. Then he came out of the office and went over to the other vehicle being worked on by the 2 other employees and started helping them. Apparently it takes 3 people to change the oil. Finally after about 15 minutes he wanders over and starts tapping on the computer in bay 4. After a minute or two he says that he can't log in so he can't do the inspection. I told him thanks for wasting my time and left. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!! I WILL NEVER GO BACK FOR ANYTHING! read more

They didn't have the tired I needed so Jacob sent someone to go pick up the tire so I wouldn't have to spend my day here waiting for it to be delivered. Not super impressed, went here after getting a good Groupon for an oil change. This oil change included s vacuum and window cleaning. When I got there the employer that greeted me was very unfriendly and robotic. He asked me my mileage and the type of oil I most recently had put in and when I told him 530, he told me that the only place that knows what that means is the place I got it. Not sure what that means, since when I cashed out the guy told me they filled 530...odd. Waited over an hour, and when I got to the car it was not vacuumed or windows washed. Probably won't return to this location. Valve line on Hebron and Josey offers much friendlier and faster service. read more

This place is extremely unprofessional in my opinion. Went in for a standard oil change. They didn't apparently have the oil I needed so I had to pay an upcharge for what was available. Then while waiting for my oil change another customer came in. The lady working the front counter told the woman that the last time her oil was changed there they forgot to put in her air filter. My first red flag. After my oil change I got in my car and my glove box wouldn't close and eventually came off. I went back after the manager left my a vm and yes they fixed it however no apology was even offered. It was as if I was making a big deal out of it. They really need to up their customer service along with their work ethic because if my glove box was broken and someone's air filter was left out for months on routine car maintenance, seems to me that they aren't doing a very great job with even the basics. read more

I think they did something to my brakes. I came in for an oil change and state inspection. It's pretty much a new car. The manager tried to up sell me on things I didn't need: new battery, air filters, windshield wipers, etc. After declining, she made a weird comment about what great quality my brakes were in. Then they brought my car around and slammed on my brakes in front of me like they were angry. Then they took my car off to the corner to work on it where I couldn't see. I came in for a state inspection. First time, they told me my tires were 1/32 off from passing so I went and bought new tires. Second time, a worker pulls me aside and says "your windshield wipers are ripped, but that won't stop you from passing the state inspection" then I told them to proceed with the inspection. Another worker comes along and tells me I failed the inspection due to the windshield wipers and when I refused to pay because they told me originally it wouldn't be a problem, they threatened to call the cops. And conveniently, there was no store manager there that day. Horrible customer service, I would never go back to that store if they PAID me to. What a crooked way to run a business. read more
