Convenient location for me, although it's seems busy on weekends and weeknights. If you have to chance to make it by during the weekday, service can be so quick that you don' t have to get out of the car for top offs. Also the $40 might be pricey compared to specials at other places, the offer a lot of discounts if you use jiffy regularly, so it evens out. My husband and I bought a replacement headlight bulb at Autozone and proceeded to look up how to do this on YouTube. You know, it really did seem a little too complicated for just a headlight. Showed up on a Saturday morning and cruised right in. They are the friendliest guys! It was so quick, they have it down to a science. The waiting area isn't the nicest, but for a $40 oil change I'll take what I can get. My only complaint is they didn't have my size bulb for my burnt out headlight. I had a great experience at Jiffy Lube yesterday. Typically I have taken my car to the dealership for maintenance but Im tired of paying an arm and a leg for regular maintenance. I pulled into the Jiffy Lube and was promptly greeted by someone the moment I got there. He welcomed me, opened my door, showed me to the fresh coffee and the waiting room with the "current magazine selection". I actually thought it was weird how courteous he was. There were 5 other people waiting before me and the place had only been open for 15 minutes. 15 minutes later I was called and the technician person went over all the manufacturer recommended services for my car and the mileage I was at. We went over what I wanted and what I didnt want (more expensive oil, new wiper blades, etc). She confirmed my selections and said my car would be done in about 20 minutes. 20 minutes later I was called to review the services provided. I was surprised to learn that they top off all your fluid for free between visits! I paid for the service, took the $10 off coupon on my next visit and was showed to my car. Thanks Jiffy Lube. Simple oil change only. Best JL I've been to. Normally I'm advised to get new filters, blades, and occasionally they'll even suggest switching to more expensive oil. This place was quick, easy, and the employees were friendly and efficient. Highly recommended. read more

It was ok. They told us our car needed a special upgraded oil that cost over $100. Maybe it's made of gold??? They said anything else would damage our car. It looks like others on here had the same experience from this place. We've always used the regular oil, like normal people do. It wasn't the best place, but wasn't the worst. I've been to a few different Jiffy Lubes in different cities. This was one of the worst, if you pay $40 for signature service which includes the windows being cleaned and the floor being vacuumed you expect it to be done well. Apparently they missed that part in training, I would've went back but it was a Saturday afternoon so it was a hassle just to get out of the parking lot and I didn't feel like going back. If I just wanted a basic oil change I would pay $20 somewhere else. I won't be returning to this location which sucks because it's right down the street from me. read more

Has anyone been charged almost $80 for an oil change?? I have a chevy HHR and I have never gotten an oil change for $78.00. I believe that I was truly taken advantage of being a young, woman with nominal knowledge of car repairs. However, I have gotten numerous oil changes and being new to the neighborhood I thought that I would go to the North Avenue Jiffy Lube. They told me, after the fact, that my car only takes "synthetic oil". I find this hard to believe because I have NEVER been told that my car takes that type of oil. I have taken my car to other Jiffy Lube locations and that they have never told me that my car needed that type of oil. I am extremely disappointed after talking to various people about my experience and the price that they charged me. Everyone is telling me that I was truly ripped off. An oil change has always cost me around the $30-$40 range, never ALMOST $80!! I gave them two stars since they were friendly at the end, except they turned me away when trying to dispute the price. I stopped in this location this morning for a routine oil change. I was able to drive in immediately, which doesn't happen often. I was escorted in the office by a very friendly attendant and before I knew it the oil change was finished. Maybe 5 minutes, tops. They cleaned the inside of my car and the guy at the counter, Michael, had me checked out with a coupon ready to go for the next time I came to get an oil change. Wonderful experience here for my first visit. Staff was professional and courteous. I didn't feel pressured to get extra work done (I knew I needed a couple of things other than just an oil change). They reviewed what they found and recommended a few things. I chose the items I wanted to take care of and declined the others. No problem until I went to pay. I had left my credit card at home (had to get a new card because of fraudulent charges). Once again, they were super nice and totally professional. They let me leave without any hassle to get my credit card even though I told them it would take me about an hour to get back there. I try to avoid going to the dealership at all costs to get something looked at/fixed because they are so rude in the fact that I am not as knowledgeable about cars. Half assed service with no quality control. They got the car ready in 10 minutes and when I drove off my tire pressure was still low... they didn't even check it while it was a part of their package. Now I'm not even sure if they changed my oil... let's hope they did. I most likely won't be back. read more
