I have been coming here for years. They're always professional and friendly. I don't have a lot to say aside from they do oil changes well and at a decent price (and they honor their coupons saving me a few bucks.) They will vacuum your carpets and clean your windows, too, which is a nice touch. In full, honest disclosure, I took a star off because the young woman working there isn't the world's most friendly person (she managed to be snarky while directing me to pull my car up closer to the garage doors, zero smiles, just sort of felt like she was over it.) TBH I don't care that much if she's not friendly if they do a good job. I stopped in to get an oil change and tire rotation for my fleet vehicle. This was my first time here so I expected there would be some delay, but I never expected it to take this long. The serves techs were having trouble billing the fleet company. The service was good and the one tech was really courteous and helpful. I felt they did a good job and getting me accommodated. Not the best experience at my most recent trip. Truly, the professional and jovial customer service is the only part bringing this up to a 3-star rating. The actual car service (oil change) was surprisingly underwhelming. I'm used to Jiffy Lubes topping off the various fluids and vacuuming the car interior. Well, I got some wiper fluid this time and that was about it. They didn't reset the maintenance light either after the oil change. Do not use this Jiffy Lube! My car (2016 Subaru Outback) was serviced on Monday, 12/19 and on Thursday, 12/22 the car broke down on I80 in Pennsylvania as my son was coming home for Christmas. Attached are the images from a mechanic in Mercer, PA that shows the missing oil drain plug, engine oil all over the bottom of the car, and internal damage to the engine. As a result of this poor service, my son and girlfriend were put in a very dangerous position - stranded on the side of I80 at 9PM for two hours with traffic/trucks coming by as they waited for an emergency tow. It's been over three weeks and we still are awaiting clear direction on how to proceed after numerous phone calls and email exchanges. read more

I had a pleasant experience at this Jiffy Lube. The lady who greeted me got me checked in quickly, smiled and made faces at my baby and was very patient with me as I got the stroller out to go a quick walk during the oil change. She asked if I wanted a tire rotation and I said if you think it needs done, that's fine. When I returned, the man who checked me out was also super friendly and actually didn't charge me for a tire rotation because they said it didn't need done. I will never go back to any Jiffy Lube, and especially this one. The team lead Terrence lied to me and took advantage of me at every step of this visit. First, he tried to tell me that my car can only take synthetic oil (absolutely not true), then he told me that it only takes 5w40 (not true) which ONLY comes in synthetic (not true). THEN he tried to tell me that they don't have any conventional oil in stock (apparently not true because the story changed when I said I was just going to go elsewhere). I also said I wanted my tires rotated which they said they'd do. Part way through the oil change, no one had touched my tires, so I asked Terrance again if they'd be able to rotate my tires and he said yes. He proceeded to check my tire pressure and NOT rotate my tires - apparently, he thought that I am an idiot who doesn't know what a tire rotation entails. Then he checked me out and over charged me for the oil change, as well as charging me for windshield wiper fluid that I did not need, did not request, and they did not actually add (I was in the car the whole time, they definitely did not add any windshield wiper fluid). As a woman, I have certainly had mechanics try to take advantage of me before, but never quite this egregiously. I recently moved into town and was nervous that I drove too many miles without getting an oil change. It was almost closing time, but Chris, Terrence, Ashley, and Carl we're ready for me, and took great care of me with all honesty and attention to detail. I didn't end up spending a penny as I was advised that my oil was clean and they even showed me a comparison to fresh oil. Absolutely terrible service . Looking back on the trip there wish I could've put my car in reverse about 5 min into the oil change . Lady was rude , thought it was a joke to be dealing with me calling me "bro" etc . That ain't how you handle yourself as an employee , didn't go to Valvoline cause this was closer thought I'd give jiffy lube a shot for the first time . Their cheapest oil change price for synthetic was $85 ... why in the world it was $85 I have no clue , I'll be staying loyal to Valvoline from here on out never again will I be disloyal to them . This week I stopped in to the Jiffy Lube on 5th Avenue in Grandview. I was a couple miles over needing an oil change. I had not been in since before COVID. So staying in your vehicle while they change the oil is all new to me. But I love it, and I hope it is here to stay. I'm sure it is all a crap shoot of who is working which day, but on the day I stopped in the two gentlemen working were great. They did not pressure me for any additional charges. In fact they treated me like a competent car owner that has enough knowledge to know what she needs / wants. They were thorough, efficient, and kind. I appreciated the entire experience. With driving more as life begins to return to some sense of normalcy, I'm certain I will be back sooner than later. I'm hopeful that the same two men are working. read more

HORRIBLE. My oil light started coming on when I hit my brakes so I went to Jiffy Lube to get it checked out. This was really unusual because I had just recently gotten new oil from this location recently. They took a look and said that I definitely had enough oil and that it was probably just a bad sensor and they didn't offer an oil change. The light continued to stay on but I believed it was just the sensor that was wrong. Now my engine starts making a noise and immediately I know what this means, my engine is being damaged because of low oil. I take it to a different shop this time and they tell me there's barely any oil in it and that Jiffy Lube was wrong not to suggest an oil change. I trusted Jiffy Lube and now I'm going to need a new car read more

If you'd like to be treated to an incredible rude woman "welcoming" you to your oil change head right over to 5th Ave Jiffy Lube. OR...you can make a reservation at Dick's Last Resort where it's expected that you'll be greeted with a poor attitude and rude looks because you're paying for it and it's part of the experience. As a person with a fleet vehicle I drive hundreds of miles a day in outside sales and have always had NOTHING but good experiences at Jiffy. We have been regular customers here for years, taking in three vehicles for regular oil changes, and other services that are needed. Yesterday our daughter took her Metro Spark to them for an oil change. Because she looks young, they took full advantage of her, and said that synthetic oil was required in her car. They told her she had two options, one being a $100 dollar oil change and the other $80. Additionally, I sent her a $13 coupon and they only took off $5. It's very unfortunate that they decided to take advantage. They have lost three regular customers. As it turns out, synthetic oil is not required for her car, not surprisingly. Take the time to read the other reviews below. They have also lied to other customers about requiring synthetic oil. These customers have also been female. Coincidence? I doubt it. Since I cannot respond to the comment that the Jiffy Lube Guest service person left, I am adding it to my review. Not only did we email the company (we were told that they cannot amend the situation because each franchise is governed independently), but we also did directly call the Jiffy Lube on 5th Avenue. Unfortunately the person that we spoke to only made excuses for the experience and did not offer a solution, or even sound sympathetic to the situation. Get your oil changed based on your manufacturer recommendations, or the $50 you "save" will leave you with an expensive paperweight. So, is this Jiffy Lube good? I'd say so. I have brought three different vehicles here over a number of years, and they always do a decent job. I concur with some other reviews that it occasionally takes longer than I'd like, but my impression is that the extra time is due to the staff here getting the job done properly with correct oil and filters. Pluses: weirdly clean and comfortable waiting room for an oil change joint. And they usually have fresh free coffee for those of you who must have such things. Proximity to a McDonalds...if you must wait, have a Big Mac. Right next to a car wash, so you can do all your routine maintenance at the same time. Minuses: they have to walk you through the service bay to get you from your car into the waiting room. Odd, but handled well by the attentive staff. Prices are slightly higher than most discount oil change joints, but there are always coupons online. I usually am able to save at least $15 just by finding a coupon online while I am in the waiting room. I like that they have a readily available computer screen that shows recommended maintenance for your car and prices for those services. Do they push other stuff? Sure, it's a business. But they have never done a pushy sales job on me. Overall, good place for some routine maintenance. Put it on your rotation of being an adult, and keep the second biggest investment you'll ever make roadworthy. read more

This is definitely the WORST jiffy lube i've ever been to. I had an oil change last month and brought a coupon. Guess what? after oil change was done, they wouldn't allow me to use the coupon and said the store is not listed. Then I called the company and was told the coupon was 100% usable at his store. So I went back to discuss the issue, WELL! the manager was super mad and blame me for not showing the coupon when entered into the store. WOW! THIS IS "CUSTOMER SERVICE"!!! THIS IS WHAT IT IS! I went in for an oil change. I decided to get the signature package where they include the "check tire pressure" I knew one of my tires had a really slow leak and instead of going to getgo I paid the extra 10.00 and had them put air in my tires. At the end when they gave my car back.. I noticed the check tire pressure sign was still on. I flagged down an employee and asked him about it. He told me that I needed to drive a bit to readjust and it will reset itself. After my errands I went to Getgo and decided to put air in my tire it was LOW! so I filled it to the right level and guess what! The check tire sign was off. I went back to Jiffy lube because not only did they forget to check some of my tire pressures they did not put my tire caps back on. I confronted them about not checking and they were defensive and did not apologize but tried to blame the situation on me. To these mechanics, I'm just a girl that doesn't know anything. I would of thought people who worked here at Jiffy would ATLEAST know how to properly put air in tires.. guess not. read more

I agree with Josh Hao's review. However, showing the coupon before hand didn't make any difference. The manager just declined the coupon stating that they don't accepts those here. It's not like I had some random computer printed coupon from who knows where. I had a official Jiffy Lube coupon that was mailed to me. Well his unwillingness to make any effect to provide decent costumer service just cost Jiffy Lube a costumer. Furthermore, it was raining that day and after paying the bill I came out only to find my car with the windows down. How naive can you be. It's raining out. My awesome 2007 Kia Rondo seem to burn oil (no drip under the car) the past couple years, until Jiffy Lube changed my oil this spring. The car had ~100,000 miles on it and burned ~ a quart of oil per month. I've tried many oil changing services. However, since the first oil change at Jiffy Lube a couple months ago, the car barely loses any oil. I drive a month and there is barely a dip on the dip stick! My first experience at Jiffy Lube was nice. I was escorted to the waiting room, offered coffee, spoke with the cashier who stated the cabin filter needed changing, would I like them to that for me. I just so happen to have a new filter to replace the cabin filter myself, but they put it in for me. No other services were suggested. (no pressure) My first stop was an unplanned impulse and I did not have a coupon, one was found for me and applied to my bill. I appreciated their help. Today's visit was wonderful! I was cheerfully escorted to the waiting room, asked what kind of oil change I wanted, Kevin found a coupon for me that was better than the one I had, the tires were checked and asked if they were new; Kia suggests tire rotation every 7500 miles. The oil was changed, fluids topped off and tire pressure checked by that point - so I paid, was escorted to my car by Steve and Kevin was at the car with the door open! Terrible service; I wasn't even acknowledged in the first 20 minutes. My car was first in line outside the bay; when an inside slot opened up, they brought another car in for service that arrived after me. I finally grabbed my keys and left. I'll never go back. The Jiffy Lube on E. Livingston, although a hike for me to get to -- has great service, an attentive staff, and is a much better experience. I will spend my money there from now on. read more
