When I first pulled in, two different employees gave conflicting stories for why they no longer provide their signature oil change, and their cheapest change was $59.89. However, I was told that oil change was good for 6,000 miles, so, I stayed. Just as I was about to rate the store just two stars due to someone either misinforming me or outright lying, one of the employees saw what I was doing and rushed over to me and offered me all kinds of free bonuses for the inconvenience: $5 discount plus a managers discount. And they were fast with the car too. I was in and out in 10 minutes. Overall, four stars. Because of the bonuses, the conflicting stories, the speed of service, and for forgetting to put a sticker in my windshield reminding me of my next change (and getting the mileage wrong on that sticker lol). read more

My awesome 2007 Kia Rondo seem to burn oil (no drip under the car) the past couple years, until Jiffy Lube changed my oil this spring. The car had ~100,000 miles on it and burned ~ a quart of oil per month. I've tried many oil changing services. However, since the first oil change at Jiffy Lube a couple months ago, the car barely loses any oil. I drive a month and there is barely a dip on the dip stick! My first experience at Jiffy Lube was nice. I was escorted to the waiting room, offered coffee, spoke with the cashier who stated the cabin filter needed changing, would I like them to that for me. I just so happen to have a new filter to replace the cabin filter myself, but they put it in for me. No other services were suggested. (no pressure) My first stop was an unplanned impulse and I did not have a coupon, one was found for me and applied to my bill. I appreciated their help. Today's visit was wonderful! I was cheerfully escorted to the waiting room, asked what kind of oil change I wanted, Kevin found a coupon for me that was better than the one I had, the tires were checked and asked if they were new; Kia suggests tire rotation every 7500 miles. The oil was changed, fluids topped off and tire pressure checked by that point - so I paid, was escorted to my car by Steve and Kevin was at the car with the door open! The last time I was in here was several years ago. I stopped going and told many people of my experience because they pulled this same bait and switch pricing. I was asked "do you want the same one you had last time?" And I replied yes, and then was charged $70some dollars for an oil change in a Chevy cobalt. I have never in my life asked for, or agreed to, a $70 oil change. At the time, I was working 2 jobs just to make ends meet. That day, I was late for work and didn't have time to fight it, so I wrote a letter to complain. No one even sent me a form letter to respond. From reading other reviews, seems like this is common practice for this location. There is currently a deal on their reader board, I have a Honda Civic now that requires specific oil and I'm going to call. ******** Was just told this oil change would cost me $85. Fastlube is less than a mile away and charges half that, so they'll be getting my business. At what point does corporate get involved with the management at this location? Haven't seen a positive review yet, but have definitely noticed some trends that matched my experience. read more

And they say they check other stuff like tire pressure, but I went knowing my tire was a little flat and they said nothing about it, and lied about it on the wrap up sheet. I live directly next to this station at the Meridian. I walked in to drop off my car to get the oil changed and was told that I would have to sit and wait for my vehicle to be finished or they would not service my vehicle. I explained very calmly and collectively that I lived directly next door and could come back as soon as they called me. They told me that there were no exceptions and that I would have to sit and wait. Will not be frequenting there again. read more

Girls beware, guys that work there seem to be very nice, only until you realize they actually just ripped you off. Took my new car in for its first oil change and was told I NEEDED synthetic oil. Didn't ring me up until they were already working on my car and was too late when I found out I was being charged over $100 for an oil change. I was not given any other option on different oil grades nor given prices beforehand. Partially my fault for not questioning it, but jiffy lube is a national chain, didn't think they would try to rip me off. Funny how with the price of oil always coming down the prices charged don't reflect that. The wait times are really long for a place with a name like this. One and a half hours just to get your oil changed is just too long. If I was saving a boatload of money by coming here it might be excusable. Sadly they are far from the cheapest. I've been coming here for years and they are always helpful. Even when I just go in for a top off, they're quick and friendly. They go over and above - last time I wasn't quite due for an oil change, so they made sure I really wanted to pay for the service. Helping my ex-wife prepare for a road trip, I took her SUV to get an oil change. The vehicle was pulled in, and I requested an oil change, and the air pressure in the tires checked, since the front drivers side tire was a bit low. Gentleman pulls me out to the service bay, and informs me that it will be around $65 for an oil change. I asked why it was that much, when a huge banner clearly advertises it for around $25. The gentleman told me that my ex-wife always got synthetic oil. I asked why she always got it, and he said that he didn't know. (the owners manual calls for regular oil, not synthetic) Quick phone call to her, and she told me that every time she goes to this location, she is told that she needs the synthetic oil because she has a SUV. I declined the synthetic oil, opting for the regular oil. The air filter and cabin filter were both shown to me to be dirty, I declined the replacement on both. I again asked that the tire pressure be checked. The vehicle was finished, then pulled out to the driveway, with the front drivers side tire still looking low. I asked if they checked the air pressure, they said they did. They even told me that they had to take air out of a couple of tires to get the air pressure down to 40 psi. I knew that to be untrue since I typically air her tires, and never go over 35 psi when filling them (typically between 30 - 33, owners manual calls for 30 psi, so they would have over-inflated them at 40 psi). Plus, I had been sitting in the waiting room about 10 feet from the vehicle, right next to the window, and never noticed anyone checking the air pressure in the tires. I left and checked the tire pressure up the street; the front drivers side tire was indeed still low. The other tires were around 34 psi, not 40 psi like I was told. I went to an auto parts store, and purchased both the air filter and cabin filter to replace myself. When I opened the glove box to change the cabin filter, both plastic clips holding the filter in place were laying inside the glove box. In the engine compartment, the housing holding the air filter was not re-attached properly. I'll never go back to this place. read more

Everyone here is very kind and helpful. Yes, you may be able to find a cheaper oil change elsewhere but I have never been pressured into anything besides what I come in for. They explain everything they do and ask permission before they do it. For example, I needed a filter change badly and they physically showed me the filter, showed me a clean one, explained what it did and how a dirty one affected my cat performance. They then showed me prices and asked me if I wanted it. That is it. No pressure no pushing at all. As someone not super knowledge about cars, I appreciate this. Plus they vacuum and clean windows which is a nice bonus. Go during a weekday afternoon or right when they open for shorter wait times. read more

I stopped going to all Jiffy Lube's because of this location. The service is terrible they try pushing you too buy things/services you don't need. The very last time I went there I kept trying to get me to upgrade to more expensive oil and buying filters I just replaced a few months ago. when I said no thank you politely they make me feel like I'm dumb by laughing and make some snide remark.. i'm not an expert on cars but I know what my car has had done already. if the customer says I want to simple basic oil change, and give them a simple oil change. read more

I drive a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee V8, so it take more oil than most cars but this was almost double what I normally pay for less service. Same amount of time waited during similar time of day. (Weekday evening) To compare: At another company I had synthetic blend oil change, oil filter change, engine air filter change, and a free tire rotation done for $67.00. They steal from you! I had a jar full of change and dollar bills in the center console of my car. I noticed it was gone later that night and called the next day to talk to the manager. The manager just kept repeating that it did not happen ("no way possible anyone would steal") and would not even let me talk. I left a few messages for the general manager to call me back and of course he never did. As I told them it is not about the money at all but about the customer service. The mangers give horrible service so it clear what standards are set for this location. I will never go back. read more

I always have anxiety about bringing my car for an oil change. I worry that I'm going to end up with extra charges. I attempted to go here a few months ago for an oil change, and they told me that they only had the super expensive oil ($70) and nothing cheaper, so I went somewhere else. I ended up back at this Jiffy Lube because it was the only one that was open on a Sunday. My experience was completely different and very positive! I was greeted right away by a very friendly woman and the other employees did not try and upsell me, except they let me know my brake light was out in the back and replaced it for $12. They let me know options for prices and I was able to pick the cheapest one no problem. I was grateful for that! They treated every customer really well while I was there and had a casual and comfortable waiting area. I like that they are open on Sunday's and I will be back knowing they will not upsell me and have great customer service. read more

I just went in to Jiffy Lube on 5th Ave today and they were extremely kind and helpful. They took care of my oil change very quickly and efficiently. An employee there named Jared was very polite, engaging, and informed me about the new Synthetic Blend with natural gas that I should look into for my car. Also, he got me an oil change for a really good price, which I was relieved about since I've paid ridiculous amounts at other places before. All of the employees working there kind and appreciative of my business. I've been coming to this Jiffy Lube since I moved to Columbus in August 2013 and I've left very satisfied with the service every time, especially today. read more

I went there about a year ago, and again today. I was greeted immediately upon driving up, was escorted to the waiting area and was told someone would be with me. Someone was with me very shortly, we talked about options. I had chosen the $78 option full synthetic for my 2012 Nissan last year, and did so again this year. The change lasted me a little under a year. I was called back a few minutes later I discuss add one and was explained them all very nicely. I declined add ons and they went about getting my car ready. The men were very nice, and I wasn't in there for very long, even though there were two people ahead of me. I always come here to get my car serviced about every 2 months as I drive a lot for work. They always do a fantastic job and are very courteous and updating me on how much time they need. Unprofessional & very short with customers. Upon leaving, I looked at the service checklist, & realized it says they vacuumed the floors & checked the tire pressures & filled them all to 30. Floors were still dirty, & none of the tires had any air put in them. It was "jiffy" alright, but makes me wonder if they actually did anything they say they did ??? I don't know if they've gotten new management since a lot of these reviews were written, but I had excellent service. They were fast and friendly. I loved the screens showing the different maintenance requirements and where my car's mileage was in respect to each thing. Hollie, who was the tech I talked to, asked me if I remembered having each thing done and when I wasn't sure, she recommended I look into when I'd had them done and come back if I needed the maintenance. She talked through the different oil choices with me and recommended one, but gave me another option that was cheaper if I wanted it. My car is high mileage, so I did end up going with her recommendation, but I never felt that I was being pressured to make a choice different from what I wanted. The whole staff was very friendly to me and told me exactly what was happening each step of the way. The entire process took about 15 minutes. I will definitely be returning here! read more

I'm not usually one to write a bad review; most times I consider it to be merely an off day for the servicer, but in this case after two bad experiences, I won't be going back to this location again. The first time I went to this Jiffy Lube they left my oil cap loose and there was leakage. Eventually I gave them another chance but today had an awful experience... Carl asked me if I wanted the same oil I had before so I said alright but when I realized what he was asking was if I wanted the upgrade, I said I just want the regular signature service without it and he said ok but I would have to get the upgrade (which is the more expensive oil). I said that didn't make sense and he said those were the rules. I suppose there could have been some miscommunication but when I said I didn't want the $20 upgrade but just the signature service he shouldn't have forced me to get the value service instead so I wouldn't have to pay $60 vs $30ish. I could have gotten all my fluids topped for only five dollars more with the coupon that I could not use with the value service. Too bad for them though; they lost another customer. read more

Will never come back here. It took them two hours to do only an oil change for my car with nobody else in the waiting room ahead of me. They didn't even bother to give me updates on what was taking so long..they only came in to say "a few more minutes". Which ended up being 2 hours, ridiculous! Would never come back for the amount of money they charge here, horrible service. Half the time one of the employees was standing in the parking lot talking to his friends. The absolute worst experience I have ever had going for an oil change. I brought my car in for an oil change during the week. The employees got my car in pretty quickly. They changed my oil and during the oil change they spilled oil all over my engine. Instead of being honest and telling me they said nothing. After I paid my $97 I drove off. About a mile away I look in my rearview and there are LARGE CLOUDS OF SMOKE coming out of my exhaust and a burning oil smell. So I go back and THEN they decide to tell me they spilled oil on the engine. They refunded my money for the oil change and I ran it through the wash 2 times to help remove the oil. It still smoked for the reminder of the day. You specialize in oil changes and you can't even get that right. On top of that I had to spend $150 to get a detail and have the engine cleaned off. I have reached out to the district manager and he of course has not returned my call. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION! read more
