Seeing how I always wait till the last minute to do things I was kind of starting to stress out about the oil change I so strongly dreaded. With a long trip to SF ahead of me I decided to stop by Jiffy Lube and get an oil change where the guys were extremely helpful. I had previously visited this location when I first bought my car and they were extremely helpful with letting me know when the last time their records showed the wheels were rotated and oil changes and stuff like that happened. So I decided to visit them again. Oil change took no more than 20 minutes even though they were also working on a few other cars ahead of mine, he changed out my filters and even suggested a few other things to ensure things would run smoothly. They even vacuumed the car and wiped down my windows for me! Extremely satisfied with the service at this location. Will be coming back. :) read more

Pretty disappointed. Came here to get my oil changed. I feel like I way over paid for what I got. On the receipt under "complimentary services" they claim that they vacuumed my floors and cleaned my windows. Guess what? My floors are still dirty and so are my windows lol. They also claim that they filled up my windshield wiper fluid. I wonder how that's possible when I filled it completely full last night? Overall there is no way that I will ever be back here. Pulled in and the employees helped me immediately. As I was sitting here, I see some of them wiping my windows and mirrors for me. They vacuumed my car too! They topped off my transmission fluid and all my other fluids. They told me it would take 20 minutes and I was literally in my car 20 minutes later. Great service! Terrible place. Last two oil changes I had done here. They never checked my air filter stating they did. My car broke down on the freeway and it turns out the air filter was totally clogged and gross. It cost $141 to fix my car since that is not a warrantable item. They also put NA on the check list for my daughters Jeep saying they can't get to the air filter. What kind of crap is that. They also charged me over $70 to change the oil on my husbands truck saying they have to use a special oil. Such bullshit. Won't go back now. read more

Even though they were busy, Jorge and Chris provided excellent service, and were able to check the fluids and tire pressures quickly and efficiently. Awful customer service. Been trying to change my tire/rotation 4times in 2weeks. Only after I'm in line they ck my vin and change my oil then they say I have 2more cars behind me. Done the oil then came back few days later for the rotation. Again today after then lined me up for service and after I asked if there is time for me to have my tires rotate and was told ya will take 15min I was left 20min to wait then another guy came said the gentleman helping me has to go to lunch and this Jeremy guy will take over. Well this Jeremy said that 2cars are in front of me for tires so will take longer than expected-after I already seat for 20min waiting when I was told service would take 15min. This place is not what it used to be. We take all our cars here, this is a new crew we used to be helped by Raymond and Robert with excellent customer service. Service is alright (besides the one hour wait time because there was only two people working with only one other customer there besides myself) but very frustrating because they wouldn't let me use a coupon for a standard oil change because it wasn't printed out. I have been to another jiffy lube location and they simply scanned the bar code on the coupon for it to work. He told me there was no way I could use it because it had to be printed out to be stapled to my receipt. No where on the coupon did it say it had to be printed out so that was disappointing. read more

Amateurs that don't know how tight to install an oil filter. The torqued my filter with their giant wrench so tight that the filter broke when I tried to remove it for my next oil change. I had to have my car towed back to their shop to remove the broken filter. Then those jerks charged me to fix the damage they caused. Do not take your car here. And as others have mentioned, they charge nearly $100 for a synthetic oil change. Way over priced. Edit: In response to Jiffy Lube's comment below: of course you could not find me in your records because MY NAME IS NOT DAN. IT appears to me that you've copy/pasted your canned response in an attempt to discredit my review as though I've never been to your shop. Well.. The wife has been using jiffy lube as a oil change location. They do offer oil as well as other fluid refilling options for their fluids between visits. But this time the customer service was a little lack luster...compared to previous visits.... I do find something rather wrong with this though... I can be a regular customer and get $10 off here and there... but check in on yelp and get $15 off ? ... our coupon had expired... being we had visited another jiffy lube since... I think this discourages regular customers. Why pay more to be a regular customer? read more

These guys are great. They're quick and efficient. There's usually more than one person working on my car at the same time to get me out of there quickly. They inform you about possible issues with your car but they don't pressure you into getting it fixed at their facility (I really feel like they genuinely care and want you to be aware). They also cleaned up some erosion on my car battery at no extra cost, they just offered to do it. All around good customer service here. read more

I went to Jiffy Lube on Friday to get a quick oil change and I had a coupon but when I got there the tech said I needed synthetic oil and I told him I never put that in before and told him I have been getting my oil changes at the dealer for $35.00. He shook his head in disappointment and said it could damage my engine. He said he would put in regular oil if I signed a waiver. That scared me so I had the $89.00 oil change done. After that I told a few people and was told I do not need synthetic oil and one of them was an auto mechanic. My son told me that he went there once and they told him that were out of regular oil and could only do synthetic, an oil change business without regular oil?? He left and said he would never go back. The tech also talked me into a air filter which I don't think I needed but I trusted him. That was my first mistake! Won't be going back there. read more

Wife took her car to get an oil change. $93 later we see bellowing white smoke coming from our exhaust when the car starts. I take the car to jiffy lube and explain the problem. The manager David basically tells me it's not their fault and they won't do anything about it. But to call a mechanic and have the mechanic prove they did something wrong. We have had this car for years and never had a problem like that. We take it here for an oil change and the following days we have bellowing white smoke. I will be calling the corporate on Monday and hopefully they can do something about this. read more

Professional. Very fast oil change. Vacuumed car. Cleaned front/rear windows. Gave checklist of work completed. Accepted my coupon, and did not upsell me...which I really appreciated. Went to Jiffy Lube to get a oil change on my new truck. After 15 minutes sitting in the waiting room a technician walked in and said they could not remove the oil filter from my truck because it required a special tool. I went ahead and told them to just change the oil. A few days later when I opened The hood to install a accessory on my truck I found the oil cap laying by the battery and oil splattered on the top of the hood and engine cover. Very disappointed. I used to be in this Trade. Maybe some drug testing should be performed at this Jiffy Lube. read more

I'm not one to write yelp reviews but I have never been treated so poorly as a paying customer!!! First I saw the $26.99 online for a basic oil change so I decided I would swing by and get that done. I again saw the "26.99 special" when I pulled up. When I got out my car I told the guy that I just wanted the basic oil change for my scion tc. When he proceeded for print out my invoice I noticed that it came out to $40 and literally right after I mentioned the $26.99 advertisement he ripped up my bill and told me to leave. I don't know about anyone else but that is definitely not how I treat my paying customers especially when I advertise a price!! Horrible service. I went there in September for a routine oil change I left happy thinking I got exactly what I paid for .... I went back a couple days later because there was oil dripping and I wanted to make sure it was only the leftover oil and not anything serious. I went in and I was told it wasn't tightened all the way and that they had topped me off. I was so happy. BUT THEN my check engine light kept coming on and then off.... Then I checked my oil bc I had smelled something burning lately while I drove... Sure enough my oil was bone dry. I was pissed I went back so they could check it again and they said that I needed a new seal bc it was leaking... Well nothing was wrong before and after I went there now I have all these problems. Then the manager asked if I wanted an oil change which I didn't need yet... Or to be topped off (which I did need as I had to put a quart in myself so my engine wouldn't blow a gasket)but was told they would have to charge because I was over my mileage which I was not. (charge me for oil that was lost that I already paid for because someone who did my oil change the first time didn't do it correctly) so needless to say I was angry so they topped me off for free bc I was right and was within my mileage and time. I checked when I left and I guess being topped off means getting 1/2 a court put in when it really needs 1 and 1/2. Again I went here before and they were efficient but now they are just rude and unprofessional as I walked to my car I said loudly and clearly to the manager thank you very much, I appreciate it. I haven't gone to a Juffy Lube in many years. Decided to give them a try today (La Habra location) for a routine oil change on my Honda CRV. On the plus side, the woman working the counter and answering the phones was very pleasant and polite. She even offered me coffee and donuts! They got me in fairly quickly, and the work was completed quickly. On the so/so side, the price. A fully synthetic oil change would have been $99. Yikes!! Not sure how this compares to other places, but that's a lot of money for an oil change. I opted for the semi-synthetic which was about $60 or $70. On the potentially negative side, I felt like there was a lot of "up-selling" going on. The employee came out holding my air and cabin filters and said they were dirty and asked if I would like them replaced (I respectfully declined and did them myself). She also said I should have the transmission fluid replaced and also said I should replace the brake fluid. I'm a little suspicious, as we bought the car new and it has relatively low miles. To Jiffy Lube's credit, the filters WERE dirty and needed replacing, and I appreciate them taking the time to remove them and show them to me. Not so sure about the necessity of the transmission and brake fluid replacement recommendations. I will be checking the Honda maintenance schedule before I make that decision. The various recommendations for additional work seemed a little on the aggressive side to me. Would I use Jiffy Lube again?? Yes, probably. But be careful of the up-sell. This could have very easily been a $300 - $400 bill instead of of a $70 bill had I said "yes" to everything they were suggesting. Oh, and the lady behind me pretty much got the same spiel I did, including the employee holding the air and cabin filters and recommending they be replaced. read more

Been to this location a couple of times for a routine oil change. I was greeted, and maybe waited about 15 minutes for the entire oil change (and all of the other maintenance they do on the vehicle for a basic oil change). I was informed that they had pulled out some tubing that you insert the dipstick into, and I really didn't understand what he meant (I am not really car savvy). After leaving and driving a few blocks down, there was smoke coming from under my hood, so I figured it was just excess oil that they had spilled onto my engine while working in a hurry. I kept driving and the smoke got worse, so I decided to call for AAA because I didn't want to drive it much longer. The tow truck came and took a look at my engine and informed me that the tubing (where you insert the dipstick) was loose. He was able to fix the problem himself and informed me about a lot of people having problems from JIffy Lube. So I am pretty upset that they didn't fix the problem right then and there, a process which would only take 5 minutes at the most. Luckily the mechanic I took my car to said the AAA guy had fixed the problem and I wouldn't have to pay for repairs, but just as a warning to customers that go into this specific Jiffy Lube, always ask questions. Definitely not taking my car here anymore. read more

I have gone to this Jiffy Lube for many years. My last visit was a joke. I go in for the oil change and a tire rotation. They finish the oil change and then take it to the tire rotation area. I was watching them and the guy is rummaging around in my car looking for the hub key. It is in plain site in the glove box but he looked in there didn't see it and then kept rummaging around in my cup holder, my center console, and a cubbyhole. I'm noticing him doing this and I'm telling a guy that is closer to me to have him stop searching in my car. The kid tells me he is looking for the key and I told him I know, its in the glove box. He said he couldn't find it...I told him; then ask, don't just rummage in my car like it's yours. Then I could see they were almost done so I walked out to make sure they put the caps on correctly. I'm watching this young kid man handling them instead of making sure it was seated correctly before trying to screw it in. I'm telling him to stop what he was doing or he was going to crack it. He seats it on correctly and then screws it in and it seemed fine. I asked him if they were all on correctly and he assured me they were. I also asked if all of the chrome valve stem covers were put on and he said yes. Sure enough the next day the middle cap was loose and making a huge noise. I drove it into my warehouse at work and had my son look at it...the screw they used was twice the length of the original. He has to cut the screw down to fit. They put on a different screw and they didn't return my chrome stem covers either; one was missing. I finally got around to complaining to corporate and I got a phone call from the manager there. He was apologetic at first and said he would pay to replace the stem covers, which I declined, but then he proceeded to tell me that the screw was the one that I had on it originally. He said he looked at the camera and didn't see that they changed out the screw. So basically he was calling me a liar. I have no reason to make this up. I wasn't looking for any money or credit of any sort, I just wanted them to know about their crappy service so it wouldn't continue. I finally just told him that I didn't care (I wasn't going to argue with him) I really don't know why you bothered to contact me since you don't care. I finally just hung up on him. So we called and asked if they could help us out. They basically denied that they did anything and went on the offensive, started accusing us of stuff. I selected an oil and signed their start work paper. 20 minutes later I was told that the cost was $37! Seems DM was wrong, then lied that I had agreed to pay more than the coupon price. Owner called me a liar too by backing DM. Boy was I mad! Never go there....nufff said? Sad thing is, I am new here and will need oil changes many times. I toook my car here (since i live on the same street) around 3 months ago, i had to get an oil change and the guy up front told me my car which is a chevy cobalt needed "special oil" ok me being a girl and not knowing about these things i was like alright because i just wanted to get it over with. So they do my oil change and i notice the man struggling to back my car up in place. Anyways they finish and the man drives my car to the front with the key in the ignition and tells me my car is ready. Well as hes giving my car over my car is making a loud rumbling sound! So i freak out and tell him why is my car making that noise if it didnt sound like that when i brought it in. He gets all nervous and says "your car was missing some screws and umm i bumped into something when i backed up" and he proceeds with "do you want us to fix it" . obviously i told him to fix it did he think i was just going to drive my car off like that and the fact that he wasnt going to tell me anything about the noise until i asked amazes me. So i watched them this time carefully too bad i didnt have a friend or another mechanic check it out for me! this time when my car was ready another man handed over my keys this time not in the ignition so it was a little suspect, i drove my car around the block just to make sure, well the sound was gone so i thought ok they fixed it. a month passes by and i usually i have my music up loud so i cant hear but this time i didnt so i heard the same noise again in my car, i tried looking for where the sound was coming from but i couldnt figure it out so i had a friend check it out, and turns out they broke the cover underneath my car!! stay away from jiffy lube !!
