I really like working with the manager and the Jiffy Lube team at the Cypress location. Everyone here is very professional, very fast, and knowledgeable about what they're doing. Prices are competitive compared to what you have to pay at dealerships + the best thing is that you don't have to sit around for hours and hours on just a oil change. There are chairs available, drinks are offered for free and the service team will find you to let you know what they're doing with your car and will ask you for their permission before adding on any extra services that may be required. They even cleaned my windows for free! Toyota doesn't even offer that nowadays. Make sure to stop by this location for your service needs! read more

This is not the one I have gone to in the past. I went to this place because it was on the way. There were three guys working and the one who charge me was very helpful but the other two seemed inexperienced. The message of oil change needed was left on after the oil change. NO STICKER was placed on my CAR that upset me. If I paid 100+ to get my oil changed that took them 15 minutes I expect the sticker and the dashboard message to be placed. Very disappointed. Let me start by saying I've been going here for over 20 years with a number of different cars. I just found out today that they won't line your chassis because their machine has been broken for the last year. "Your only the second person to ask for a lube this year". What kind of response is that. I checked my last receipt and saw that they had typed in "sealed" to cover why they didn't lube the chassis. I have an old pickup truck, the grease fittings are not sealed. Guess I've been getting fooled on at least some of my cars. Beware!! read more

Took my car here 2 times and had 2 very different experiences. During my first experience, I was impressed by the friendly customer service, their attention to detail, and knowledgeable staff that easily explained to me work that was going to be done which gave me confidence to allow other recommended services to be done besides the basic oil change I initially came there for. My second and most recent visit however, didn't go so well. I still received friendly customer service and the staff was very understanding about me choosing not to perform certain recommended services. My initial gripe, upon leaving was the delivery of my car. Maybe I'm being too picky but I thought that they wash your windows and vacuum the inside of the car with every service. That didn't happen this time but it actually didn't bother me. What bothered me was when I received my car the first thing I noticed was technicians filthy hand prints all over my light colored door handle. It left a bad impression and I immediately took my car to get washed. But there's more. Today at work as I'm walking back to my car I noticed the plastic engine mud pan is dangling from under the car. Turns out that they didn't secure it properly and luckily I noticed because it could've been real bad if something were to snag and tear it off. I took it back and they fixed the issue...NO PROBLEM. They were great about it and apologized for what happened. I still recommend going there because the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable but I'll say that they could use some improvement and maybe should talk to some of their technicians about doing a better job of paying attention to the little things when working on people's cars. Great experience at this location. I assumed all Jiffy Lubes were the same. They are not. Our family decided to take both of our vehicles in on the same day to 2 different Jiffy Lube locations. One near our home in Cypress and one near my husband's work. We both used the same full synthetic oil change and discount from their yelp page but my husband paid over $25 more for the same service. This location was speedy, polite, and had better prices. Do your research before taking you car into any Jiffy Lube, they are not all the same. read more

I visited this place to get my transmission fluid changed since I haven't done the procedure since 2012. I really expected them to perform the normal method but after the service was done, I asked one of the jiffy boys if they had replaced the old transmission filter. He said no, there is no need. I felt a little confused since the purpose of the dirty fluid change was also to get a new filter since it is probably dirty too because it is 84 months old. I am sad because now I still have the old filter in the car. I am still wondering as I write this why they did not replace the old filter. Maybe one day in the future, I will find the answer to this unsolved mystery. read more

I wish I could give them less stars absolute scam of an establishment. Went in for an oil change. AN OIL CHANGE they tried to charge me for 2 filter changes transmission fluid change. I was told 90$ for an oil change then he wanted to charge me over 200$. I left after calling out their slime ball ways paid full price even with the coupon absolute joke. I changed the oil for my wife's car today and researched some places this morning before going to Jiffy Lube. Their price was reasonable compared to other places. But the best thing about it was the customer service and transparency. I was not underquoted and felt good about everything the entire time. The manager, Paul, was exceptional. My wife's car is a turbo and is supposed to have 5w40 full synthetic oil, because it just burns through the lighter stuff. The previous place I took it to put in 5w30 and they didn't even tell me that VW suggests the thicker oil. After calling the previous place this morning, I found out that they don't even carry 5w40. So Paul understood my concern and even showed me the exact oil as they pulled it out of the box before putting it in so as to get rid of any skepticism. He even showed me the panel that is under the car before putting it back on to show me that there was a leak (either transmission or engine). This, too, was never shown to me by the previous place even though it was apparent that this was not a recent problem. They even top off oil once for free before the next scheduled oil change. Awesome service! Awesome manager! And apparently it's only been 3 months since he took over the store. Great job! read more

It was more than I anticipated but I agreed to the terms. He later gave me a discount on the parts and I was happy about that. This one goes out to mánager GIO and the boys at the Cypress location. I recently moved to the area and am very particular about my vehicle. GIO was thorough and answered all my questions (proper torque specs on wheel for tire rotation, proper fluid intervals, etc.) I have had some negative experiences at other locations in the past with wrong oil type being used, over oil on my k&n service which soaked my airbox, not putting service interval sticker, stripping lug nuts, etc. This location is thorough and does good work- good management and communication. Highly recommend this Jiffy Lube over others for all services needed!! Also they do tires so i will hit them up next time for some new rubbers. read more

I give this place 2 stars. Took my 2003 oldsmobile for service. Being jiffy lube they do everything. I asked for a transmission oil change with filter. The sign says $169 and the guy told me $230. I then asked for a radiator flush and I was told they couldn't do it because they didn't know how. They said I would have to take my car to the dealer, really?? I finally asker if they can check my check engine light and they said yes for no charge. They were able to detect what it was and they were able to shut it off.
