Went in for service and they turned me away saying that I can be helped at the Los Alamitos location. They were all just standing around playing pocket pool. As I was arriving notice 2 cars backing up and leaving as well. When I arrived to the Los Alamitos Jiffy Lube I saw one of the cars there that came from Cypress Jiffy Lube. Although the guys at Jiffy Lube are thorough with oil changes, I unfortunately will not be going back and here's why: I started to bring in my car for oil changes and maintenance to the Jiffy Lube at this location around the latter part of last year. Before that, I used to get everything done at my dealer when I still had my warranty. During my last visit at the dealer they said I would need to change my brake pads soon. So during my first visit at this Jiffy lube, I asked the technician looking over my car to check the brake pads for me to see if they required replacement and ALL he said was that they still looked good (I had mentioned how my previous technician at the dealer had told me it needed replacing soon). Fast forward to my next oil change when I asked about the brake pads again and the technician working that day said that they still looked okay. No other explanation or recommendations. Then, I went in again last week for an oil change and I asked about my brakes again at the front desk because my brakes would occasionally make a grinding noise. Although he said they would try to take a look, he made no mention of it at the end of my visit. I should have asked a second time but I figured that he didn't mention anything because they were still okay. Well yesterday my brake light came on so I decided to take it to a body shop that was referred to me by an acquaintance. After a quick look, the technician at the new body shop was able to tell that my brakes were not looking okay at all. Once they did the full inspection, he said my front and rear brake pads had to be replaced. If I had replaced my brake pads sooner, I wouldn't have had to replace my rotors as well (that was the reason for the grinding noise) which would have saved me a lot of $$$. I am mad at myself for not taking my car in to another auto shop sooner, but I trusted that the staff members at Jiffy Lube were giving me their honest opinion. Had they told me that I should take my car in to another auto shop for a more thorough inspection, I definitely would have done so. I feel that they just didn't really care which sucks because trust is everything when it comes to car maintenance. Super sad face. read more

Everyone knows the fear of going to a automotive shop and expecting the employees to be out for you wallet! Not at this Jiffy Lube! They left the door to the shop open and you can hear all of the conversation and even watch your car being worked on! Everyone was super professional and helpful! The team was even able to find out that a previous oil change place lost the cabin filter holder. They even provided great recommendations. Sean is the man. Showed up 20 min before closing and Sean had me out with new oil, oil filter, engine filter, and cabin filter - all in just 15 min. He ran the show all by himself from greeting, driving, charging my card, and showing me the new parts before installation. Did I mention that he did this all with a great attitude? I have been going to this Jiffy Lube for over 10 years. I have been very pleased with their service. The last time I went in, they had my car done in 10 min. I got in my car & noticed no vacuuming of the interior and when I thought about it they never came to me to let me know if I needed any filters, etc. They just got me out as fast as they could. No other cars were there. I wondered if they even changed the oil filter. I wrote to Jiffy Lube Corp and was told that that Jiffy Lube is a franchise & they would contact the owner. Over a week later the owner did call, listened to my complaint & said all he could do was offer me a discounted oil change next time. Why???I will not go back. A refund or partial would have been nice. read more

DONT COME HERE!!! I came here on October 21st 2016 & paid for my oil change. By the end of November my motor blew out. Come to find out, it blew out for no oil, which shouldn't be an issue given the fact I just paid for it to be changed. My mechanic verified that there is no way my oil had been recently changed because of the damages it had. All this while 8 months pregnant. I went back spoke to an employee who claimed to be the manager & insisted I take this up with Kia. Since I had a 2015 Kia Sorento & it should be under warranty. I contacted Kia & turns out this is jiffy lube issue because they did not do their job. I've called jiffy lube multiples with no return calls. I've contacted their cooperate office in hopes that this gets resolved. If not I will be contacting the better business bureau BBB. read more

I had been super long overdue to get an oil change and I'm always so busy to get it done, but I realized I better do it. I didn't have much time and wanted to get it done before a meeting, so I called ahead and the man who answered was very polite and even broke down the pricing between the different types of oil you can get. I also had a $13 online coupon that they honored. He said if there's 1 or 2 cars before me, it would take 30 minutes at most, if not, 15. I got off the phone and rushed over. They showed me my horribly dirty filter (it had plant seeds and weird debris lol) and I said, "Yes, please change that." They also showed me the oil on the dip stick that it was replaced. SUPER FAST, friendly, professional. The guy who entered my info explained to me what they had and showed me the breakdown of what I was getting. Nothing hidden and transparent. This place never seize to amaze me with their satisfactory service. Came in for my usual oil change but also wanted to have my brakes checked because every now and then I would hear some screeching noise when I I'm braking as I'm backing up. I was worried my brakes were running thin. The brake technician wasn't in at the moment but the manager himself took a look at it. He said my brakes were still in very good condition as far as thickness but was just a little dirty. He took the time to check each and every brakes and had applied some brakleen. I've driven my car for a while now and no worrying sounds were to be heard. It's the little things this establishment does that makes you come back for the routine services. You won't leave feeling unsatisfied or worried something wasn't thoroughly checked. This place means professional service here. And they do tires too! read more

Went for oil change on August 18. Oil change and inspection was completed in about 15 minutes. The technician noted the condition of tires as checked and ok. I wanted tire rotation as well but the technician advised they don't do those close to closing time. I scheduled an appt with Costco in Cypress on August 29 for tire rotation. When I went for my appointment I was advised my tires were worn our and down to wires and thread on the inward side. They told me to stop driving the car immediately for safety reasons and get new tires ASAP. On August 29 I called Jiffy Lube and spoke to a manager, who told me they don't check tires but tire pressure. I said my paperwork states "condition" of tires thread and it was flagged as "checked and ok" for every single tire. He said he wasn't the one who did the oil change and inspection so he doesn't know what happened, but offered for me to come back so he can top off my windshield fluid for free. Needless to say I will not be going for windshield fluid or any service. Folks, they don't check anything. I am doubting he even put full synthetic oil in the car, which is what I paid for. read more

It wasn't till I drove away (on an out of town trip btw) that I realized they'd charged me an extra $38 for "check up" services (which according to the paperwork included putting air in the FULL tires and that's it). Super pissed i got charged for services I didn't ask for. Thanks for fulfilling the stereotype that car places screw you over if you're a girl. This place is terrible, especially if Luis is still the manager. Not only do they not always do the full inspection they promise with a Signature Service Oil Change, but my ipod was stolen out of my car. Granted, I know I should NOT have left my iPod in the car (I really kick myself, you have no idea!), but it was hidden deep in a center console underneath a lot of stuff. When I complained to the manager (Luis) he promised me that he would find it or replace it, even if it was out of his own pocket. However he would not return my phone calls following up and I even had to go in there to inquire. He treated me like I was crazy, said I had never filed a complaint, etc and it was SO insulting. I would have rather him just said there wasn't anything he could do initially! Not promised me the world. It's really not about the iPod, it's the principle - Luis is no good and sneaky. If he lies to customers about simple customer service complaints why wouldn't he lie to you about your car? BOYCOTT!!! read more

I give this place 2 stars to be nice. The first few times I went here I thought it didn't give very good customer service or speedy completion, but they got the job done. The last visit here, my service technician broke my car alarm- I don't know how this is possible, but he did. I first noticed when I parked at a coffee shop down the street about 2 miles. I stayed there a while to do work and thought it odd that my alarm wasn't confirming that it was armed, but it wasn't until after that I noticed it was a real problem. I came back to Jiffy Lube, told the situation in a non-accusational way, but the technician became very defensive. I explained that it worked before coming to get an oil change and now it didn't. Somehow during the oil change he severed the alarm arming feature. He couldn't figure out what to do and was saying I should probably take it to the dealership, but was admitting that he probably did mess it up somehow. I got nothing in return for his mistake, just an apology that won't solve the issue. I will never recommend this or any other Jiffy Lube to anyone, but I am probably one of those rare cases where I was matched up with someone who doesn't know how to just admit fault and try to fix what he broke. read more

I just needed an oil change and they did a thorough inspection of my car and told me that my radiator was leaking and had to be replaced due to wear and tear. Their estimate was reasonable and they topped off all the car's fluids, put air on my tires, cleaned the car, etcetera, etcetera. Their manager, Brian was extremely helpful and went over and beyond standard customer service. They really care. I will be telling everyone I know to give their business to these guys. This place is a crock of S*** Didn't have time to go to los al today. (after my last fiasco) figured I would give cypress another shot . When I pulled in I asked if my oil change would really be 19.99 plus tax. I was told yes. Come time to sign the paperwork (after oil has been drained) I'm presented a paper that has $44 on it. Wtf!?! after inquiring about the change in price, I'm told there is an extra charge for pennzoil. REALLY????? I consider pennzoil the basic oil. Last x number of visits I got pennzoil and was never charged extra. So basically shell brand oil change is 19.99+ fees. pennzoil is an EXTRA 20 bucks, bringing the total to $44.. Utter bull crap. I can't believe I found a place worse than cerritos ford The only bright side is my car was done within 15 minutes since there was only 1 other car there. Got my oil changed here a while back, and was slightly shocked. One of the service advisers told me my cabin air filter needed changing. So he brought it in and showed me, and indeed it was dark in color and had twigs, small leaves and debris sitting loosely on top. I told them I may change it at a later time, rather than doing a small courtesy of just dumping the loose debris off......he put it back in the car(twigs and all still sitting on top). If I'm paying $40 for an oil change, don't think it's too much to ask to dump off the loose debris. Didn't like how that went, won't return read more

Happened to be driving by and saw the managers special 26.99. What? Heck yes! The people here are quick and efficient. It almost felt like I was pulling into a 50's style gas station with guys running to service my car. Checking tire pressure, changing oil, topping off all fluid levels and cleaning the windows. I really like working with the manager and the Jiffy Lube team at the Cypress location. Everyone here is very professional, very fast, and knowledgeable about what they're doing. Prices are competitive compared to what you have to pay at dealerships + the best thing is that you don't have to sit around for hours and hours on just a oil change. There are chairs available, drinks are offered for free and the service team will find you to let you know what they're doing with your car and will ask you for their permission before adding on any extra services that may be required. They even cleaned my windows for free! Toyota doesn't even offer that nowadays. Make sure to stop by this location for your service needs! read more

This is not the one I have gone to in the past. I went to this place because it was on the way. There were three guys working and the one who charge me was very helpful but the other two seemed inexperienced. The message of oil change needed was left on after the oil change. NO STICKER was placed on my CAR that upset me. If I paid 100+ to get my oil changed that took them 15 minutes I expect the sticker and the dashboard message to be placed. Very disappointed. Okay i know these oil change places are not the best! But if you know your stuff then you know when you are gettin ripped off!! Been here a couple of times and the guys do remember me. So trying to "upsell me" is a major no no in my book. Suggestion is one thing, but i hate when people just cant take no for an answer! Had to get my car oil changed (been putting it off.. i know , i know) got the "signature service oil change" they actually did everything they were suppose to do.. It came out to $38.00. Smarty pants me had a coupon for $7.00 off so the actual grand total was $ 31.00 give or take tax. They are more friendly at this location (they have a new owner who is always there) Only downside was having to sit in the waiting room watching afternoon talk shows (shudders) and no WIFI (booo). read more

AMAZING!! Normally I go to the Bellflower location, but I was driving by this one while I was 3,000 miles over my last oil change (Don't judge me!). Later on in the evening and nobody ahead of me. SCORE! Brian (the manager) was awesome, and the staff that works there was very friendly.
