Bought a Groupon to use on a signature oil change. When I went in to use is they said "let's see if it works". It's really poor business in my mind to have a coupon out but not be willing to honor it. I spent $25 on the Groupon and was not able to use it. He gave me on coupon to discount my service but still I've spent an extra $25 for nothing. Not happy about that at ALL. Now j have to call groupon to see if I can get a refund. read more

I originally had an apt at the Ford dealership, but when they told me they had a 2 hr estimate for my service, i drove .9 miles to Jiffy Lube where i've always had a great experience. It was my first time at this one. They got me out of there in under 30 mins. The waiting area was great, they gave me several discounts on promotions they were running and were so fast! I got my oil changed at this Glendale location back in September after Valvoline got caught red handed by my tire mechanic for selling me an expensive service my car didn't need. After getting my service done at this Jiffy Lube, they accidentally filled my oil with a higher grade, but said they would only charge me for the oil I asked for due to their mistake (no complaints there! ) When it was time for my next change, I went to a Jiffy lube closer to my the area I just moved to. For whatever reason either by misunderstanding or in attempt to manipulate a higher sale, they told me if I downgraded my oil to a non-synthetic I'd be at risk of damaging my engine. I called this Glendale location because naturally, one would be upset not getting a warning that switching your oil could mess up your engine (unemployment has me pinching pennies during Covid, otherwise I'd have no problem). I talked to the manager Hazir who generously took the time talking with me to explain it and was wonderfully patent in clearing up any confusion and misunderstandings based on what another location was telling me. He assured me it was completely safe no matter what grade of oil I chose to go with and invited me down to the Glendale location to personally take care of things for me. As always, there never seems to be a wait. Staff is very friendly and completely considerate of taking Covid safety measures. I was never pushed into being sold services I didn't need or pressured into upgrades. Hazier did a fantastic job repairing the misunderstanding and I appreciate the way he treated me as a customer. I always feel apprehensive with the sleazy reputations having to do with the car service industry. Not here! This location completely has my trust and I will be returning here for all my oil changes from now on. :) Big thanks! read more

I accidentally posted this review from January on the wrong businesses page! Which is a bummer because this Jiffy Lube should be avoided. After getting my oil changed here, I ended up broken down on the highway because the techs didn't screw in my mud plate under the car. When I called them, they gave me the runaround, telling me at the end of each call (we had several) that they would call me back with details on what I should do...but they never did...I had to call back each time and talk with Felix again and again. Felix swore up and down that several people watched the tech working on my car screw in the mud plate. So not only did they mess up, and get me stranded, they lied about it. That's what pissed me off most. I called my dealership and asked them how the mechanism works, and then called Felix back again, taking him to task on the business' absolute disrespect of this situation, me as a customer, and since I had a part of my car dragging around on the highway, possibly my life. Not to get all dramatic, but really, how could they mess that up...they have to service 1000's of Honda Fits every year! He then apologized profusely and offered me half off my next oil change. Considering he made me sit off of the 101 for more than 2 hours to get nowhere, I decided I would rather pay double somewhere else than run the risk of these people touching my car again. What they should have offered was a refund. I ended up having my dealership tow me and had to cancel my trip to pick up my nephew near Ventura. ***Maybe the most irritating part of dealing with this business was the self-serving logic they used. IE despite having just had my oil changed, they insisted I must have unscrewed the screws that secure the mud plate, and that they couldn't claim liability. When I asked why they couldn't send a car out to have someone screw the screws in, he said plainly 'It's a really low car, no one can get under it without it being here where we have the set up to be under the car' Literally. I am accused of crawling under my car but later it's not possible to crawl under my car, according to Felix. Go somewhere else! read more

Had an oil service there last night. One specific thing I asked for was to reset my tire pressure. Was assured it was done only to find out when I got home that it was exactly the same as when I drove in. The staff should have known that the computer would have told me if the pressure had been corrected. Windows not very clean. If you offer a service you should make sure you do a good job at it. read more

This is the first time I come to this specific location and I wish I had been coming here sooner. They were friendly and very fast. I came in with my car and my girlfriend brought hers in as well. They were done with both our cars in less than 40 minutes and Felix even allowed me to receive an additional discount from a coupon I had because we brought in two cars. Had an oil change done and from beginning to end the serviced I received was great. Besides being professional and courteous , all recommendations were made based on inspection, observations, and manufacturers recommendations with really no sales pressure. Which is something I couldn't stand where I used to go because it was like a quota was trying to be met to sell the most expensive oil or service with no explanation on why for my car specifically or before even looking under the hood. I asked if I could send an email to their manager, but was told no real place to send it so I thought I'd write a Yelp review and recognize Felix for his great work ethic and service. They'll tell you you need one thing done and all of a sudden you "need" millions of more things . They're just going to try and scare you into something you do not need . This place is beyond shady, I'm so disgusted by them and their work. They take your car apart while going in for an oil change to look for things they can sell to you. They put apart my front seat compartment, had difficulty putting it back in, and in the process broke something and now I have a missing piece, I noticed this while I left, my compartment does not open the same way anymore and I have to pay out of pocket to get it fixed elsewhere. I took it back to them and they were all scattered like idiots and didn't do anything about it. Never again. read more

I give these guys 5 stars! They were very nice and accommodating. The serpentine belt slipped off while I was driving to work and I happened to pass by their shop, so I stopped and asked for help. They didn't hesitate to assist and put by belt back on. Unfortunately, they could only fix it so much and recommended an auto shop close by. I always go to auto shops to get my oil change and to get my wheels rotated but they take for ever. I was recommended here at Jiffy Lube because of their fast service. I came and I got assistance right away. I was helped by Pablo; the store manager. He definitely gave me great customer service. He got my car in the shop right away and right back out. I then called this location and spoke with Angel who right off the bat made me feel like I was going to be in good hands. I have taken my car and a previous vehicle to this jiffy lube for over ten years, and until recently have been satisfied. Yesterday, however, I had a bad experience there and will not be going back. I took my car to jiffy lube for a routine motor oil change. They pulled up the car service records on their computer, showed me that a change of the front differential fluid was overdue, and offered to change the differential fluid while the car was there for a motor oil change. I agreed. While waiting, I heard pounding -- as if someone was repeatedly hitting something with a hammer -- and my car was the only vehicle being serviced. Sometime later, one of the service personnel told me that they had decided not to change the differential oil -- that the drain plug for the front differential was stripped and that I needed to take the car to a mechanic with a "pressure" tool to remove the drain plug. I don't understand how the differential drain plug could have been stripped before unless by this same jiffy lube when it changed the front differential oil during an earlier service. As I was leaving, the cashier printed out a one page document and handed it to me -- a work order/invoice. Looking at it later, that document purports to contain my signature although I never signed it; jiffy lube apparently somehow took my signature authorizing my credit card payment for the motor oil change and affixed that signature onto the work order/invoice. If you do go to this jiffy lube, a couple suggestions: (1) limit the service to an oil change service only; and (2) check all the documents they give you, to see if your signature appears on documents you did not see or sign. If your signature appears on documents you did not sign, please consider reporting this misconduct to the State of California, Bureau of Automotive Repair, so hopefully the State will put a stop to such conduct. read more

i was headed out of town on a last minute road trip so i stopped in here for a quick oil change. the attendant tried to tell me that my car only takes synthetic oil which i promptly laughed at. when i told him to perform the service i asked for, he then told me that i'd have to sign a paper stating that i declined the synthetic oil. i laughed at him again and said i don't need to sign anything because i've never had synthetic oil in my car and if i was going to change, he certainly wasn't going to be the "mechanic" to do it (once you once you put synthetic oil in your car you cannot go back to conventional). he came out twice more to sell me other unnecessary services for which i declined and told him to only perform the service i requested. long story short, for uneducated car owners or the gullible, STAY AWAY!!! they'll sell you the most expensive service they have and probably more. when i took my car back to my regular mechanic, he informed me that the jiffy lube attendant overtightened my oil pan nut and striped it. i had to buy a new one. STAY AWAY FROM THESE JOKERS!!! read more
