This place has annoyed me for the last time! I'm sick and tired of the high-pressure up-selling. I can't believe how much they want to charge for an air filter. I told them, "Are you kidding me? You do realize there is a discount auto parts store directly across the street, don't you?" I went there after the oil change and paid 1/3 the price they wanted. Being a girl that knows very little about cars, I was nervous to come in, feeling like most auto places will try to upsell and try to rip me off. I definitely didn't feel like that one bit during my visit. I came in for an oil change, got that done quick along with a replaced air filter (mine looked disgusting.) My next visit was when, after close to an hour of trying to figure out how to change my stupid window wipers, I finally decided to ask for help and they changed them in a few seconds - no cost. And finally, my recent trip included a worry I had about some lights flashing on my Prius, and they topped off all the liquid, changed my tire pressures and a blinker light that went out - for just 10 bucks (only for the light.) They are quick, and have the best customer service :) Even though I don't know too much about my car, they help me out without judgement! read more

On February 17th, 2015, I went into this Jiffy Lube to get my oil changed. My car takes a special oil, that they realized they didn't have in stock. They went out of their way and sent someone down to the next Jiffy that did have it, and swiftly brought it back for me! As they changed my oil with stellar timing, they offered me water, vacuumed out my car, and gave me a free car wash! I live on the westside, but will go out of my way to return to this location for all my future oil changes! Not to mention, they were not pushy at all, and extremely friendly and nice! Went here for an oil change for convenience and paid double what the dealership charges. Also, the tech talked me into getting my windshield fixed. Do not fall for this. I have had to field dozens of calls from my insurance provider because I did not file a claim first. The adjuster informed me that shops know this and proceed with the repair regardless. read more

This was the most positive experience I've ever had at Jiffy Lube or perhaps any mechanic. I know I'm generalizing, but in my experience typically the salesperson who runs the floor of an automotive shop is smug, uninformative, condescending and borderline rude. I'm in sales and this technique may work on some people but it turns me off big time and makes me very guarded and suspicious. The bay manager and the employees at this jiffy lube were awesome. They were friendly and communicative. The floor manager was friendly, very professional and knowledgable. I personally have always thought additives are snake oil, but my experience and interaction with the manager was so positive that at her suggestion and with no hesitation I paid $25 for a fuel additive i still think is probably worthless and that I know I could have picked up in 5 minutes from auto zone or Amazon for $5. This is also the first time The free inspection that came with the oil change didn't feel like an upsell and if they had found anything additional needing to be done I would have almost certainty allowed the shop to do it for me even though I have long questioned the quality of work done by quick lube shops. Go there at your own risk. My engine blew up and my neighbors did the same. We were both jiffy lube customers. So for the couple years I was getting oil changes there it appears the work was never done causing my engine to blow. Same with my neighbor and I bet this has happened to many people who haven't connected the dots. That's why no one goes there anymore. It doesn't matter which store you go to. I came into this location with a coupon for a high-mileage oil change for $49.95. Of course Luke tried to upsell me on 10 different things including a higher price synthetic oil. My car is 11 years old and I don't believe making a change like that is in my car's best interest. I said "no." He tried to tell my that they couldn't be responsible for harm to my engine if I didn't get the higher priced oil. BS!!! So, in the end he proceeded to charge me an extra $5 for shop fees. WHAT??? I don't love getting my car serviced, but especially hate it here. The staff waited 20 minutes to tell me their rate had gone up a lot since my last one. By then you're already in a bay and you've already waited so you feel stuck. Then all the upselling and added fees. Ridiculous. I'm sticking with my usual place even though I live closer to this one now. Scrubby's 76 in Fairview is the best oil service by far. Fantastic service. We came here on Veterans Day for a free oil changed and they ended up repairing a rock crack in the windshield for free and even offered to vacuum out the car. Horrible & unjust experience!! This place is like being bombarded by a pack of wolves..on a food drought!! I was $$$ right when I walked in the door. They tried to up-sell, over-sell & predatory-sell me trying to convince me I needed brake fluid, transmission flush, oil filter replaced, air filter, engine diagnostics, windshield chip repair, tires balanced, distributer cap & when DECLINING all offered extras and simply reminding them I ONLY wanted my oil changed...then I was treated rudely, cold & rushed out of there with my car already in drive out of their garage!! I'm generally not a person who leaves negative reviews, but this place really took way too long for a simple oil change. They had at least 6-7 workers/technicians walking around doing things, and yet a simple oil change took almost an hour and a half? There was one car in front of me, which certainly added some time, but the fact that their advertised coupon wasn't somehow available either just left me with a very meh feeling. I came to Jiffy Lube last week for a top off, a younger guy maybe in his 20s, checked my oil and told me I didn't need a top off. I thought it was weird since I haven't changed or got a top off since July 21st, I left and continued my errands. My car had been acting kind of different, so today I went back to this same jiffy lube in hopes I could get a top off, the same guy came to my window and said "back again?" and basically told me again I don't need a top off without even checking my oil. I went to Jiffy lube .3 miles away from this one and the guy who topped me off told me I was 3 1/2 quarts low on my 4 quart car. I am very disappointed in this Jiffy Lube, and will NOT return. read more

A while back I brought my car in for an oil change on a Sun afternoon. There was one bay open. Was greeted by Shawn and guided onto the bay. I stayed in the vehicle for 13 minutes before anyone came up to start the work. A little long, wouldn't you say? During my wait, Shawn and Brian (Asst Mgr) were munching on pizza right there next to me. I would say it's a little unprofessional, but, we all gotta eat I guess. In the end, the service was fine. But guys, seriously! - isn't the whole idea of a drive though oil change to make it as quick as possible for your customers ? And if you are going to eat lunch, do it in the break room. No matter how hungry you are, making customers watch you eat for 13 minutes, well ....let's just say that an oil change shop and pizza don't mix well together. read more

Went there last Friday. Arrived at just after 9 am. Went in, got coffee, magazine. About 9:20 my car went into the middle stall. 9:30ish - nothing going on. 10 - nothing happening - it was like they had gone on a break or something. 1005 I asked if they had started yet and they hadn't. They apologized but there was no indication they were ever going to get it done so I headed to another shop. Could NOT believe it or figure out what was going on. read more

Being close to work, I came for a standard oil change one afternoon...The next day at a friends house, someone points out "umm..there's something falling off your truck" ..and i look down and the place that covers the engine (don't know car lingo) was half way off and dragging the ground. Don't take your car to this Jiffy Lube unless you are ready to buy a new car. Brought my car in for an oil change and they told me there was moisture in the brake fluid and the line should be bled and new fluid put in. Well, they bled the line. When my brakes failed, a few days later they tried to say that I was the cause that there was no brake fluid, but that they would graciously test the line and put more in for free. (Oh, they couldn't find a leak anywhere) I mentioned that my coolant light had come on and asked that they check it as well. They said it was full and there must be a glitch in my computer system. Fast forward a few weeks my coolant gauge jumps all the way up. I limp my car to a gas station and low and behold there is no coolant at all in the tank. I have watched them run my car without the air filter in (apparently he was a "new guy") they have untrained, unskilled "mechanics" who don't know what they are doing and are perfectly content to compromise YOUR safety to save face. read more

I have taken over 8 cars to this location for the past 15 years. I was a customer when they were Quakerstate. I was always on a first name basis with the managers and technicians. But the last year they have gone thru multiple employees and managers. The service has become less and less of a positive experience. This last visit was the final straw. I went in and asked for the Signature Service Oil Change. Since I had already gone thru the carwash I told them not to worry about the windows, but I would like it if they could do a good job vacuuming. The first thing that got me was when they told me my wipers were old and needed replacing. I had just replaced those two days before; I even had the old ones in the trunk still. After taking a bit longer because the air filter listed in the system wasn't correct, they finally got me on my way. As I was driving down the road, I noticed they hadn't put in the mileage sticker on the windshield. I turned around and went back. The manager hand wrote one and put it in. The first thing I always do when I get home is recheck all of the caps and levels to make sure I haven't lost anything after a service; Accidents do happen. I found that they hadn't even topped off all of my fluids. I called the location and the manager asked me if I had purchased the Signature Service and not the $19.99 oil change. I said yes, and had him look it up. He then said perhaps I hadn't looked correctly in the reservoirs because they will foam a bit when being filled and might not be all the way to the top. I again said yes, I'm sure because I had actually looked in. I was being treated like an idiot. Since I live about 25 miles from the location, and it was evening; I told him I would stop by in the next day or so. As I explained to him, any one of these issues by themselves I would attribute to an honest mistake, but the three combined make me question the customer service and honesty being provided to not just me, but to others. I have always recommended this location to family and friends, and they might not be so attentive to the service they are getting. I explained this to the manager, He assured me he would talk to the technicians and offered a free oil change. I said that would be great, and I'd love a follow up call letting me know how things are. 4 months later and I have received neither the free oil change nor the follow up call. I have told all my friends and relatives to stop going to Jiffy Lubes in general and that location specifically. read more

Never again. I needed to get my oil changed in my car. They were very slow and once we got in we sat for about 30 minutes before they even came to my car. They were weird acting about allowing us to stay in the car. They brought it up numerous times but said we could. They wanted to tell me about all their services but kept asking me to go to the back of their store with them and I kept telling them I only wanted the basic oil change because my car was new and I did not need anything else. Finally after about an hour, they were done and I had to go inside to pay and they added on a bunch of "upselling" that they never asked or told me about. They said my car needed an oil filter which it did not because it was new and an extra can of oil. I was upset about that because the NEVER told me they were adding extra stuff to my bill, they just did it. I finally paid but I was upset that they added mysterious charges that they never told me about and they used the excuse AGAIN that it was because I stayed in the car during the oil change! WTF would that have to do with me staying in the car??? Anyways, I got my oil change BUT they couldn't even figure out how to turn off my light that says it is time for my oil change. So that is still on even though I had an oil change AND I didn't even get a window sticker for my next oil change. I will definitely NEVER go back to this Jiffy Lube ever again.
